Great service! Awesome coffee! Terrific prices! I love to travel and try new coffee shops and this is one of my favorite spots when I visit my family. Baristas are always so friendly and helpful! I love the coziness when you walk in and feel at home! Highly recommend!

Oh how I wish I had discovered this coffee shop on my first day in Oak Harbor! It's right around the corner for my boy's place. I found them on the last day- and the roasting beans greet you as you enter the door. The smells- oh lord the smells. Then the choices!!!! I absolutely had to go with Nirvana hot latte- dark chocolate, caramel and Irish Cream were the flavors- and I couldn't resist a cup called Nirvana anyway. It was exquisite. I sat in one of their comfy chairs in view of the roaster. enjoyed every wonderful sip of coffee and then bought two bags of whole beans for my daughter. My luggage smelled delightful when I opened it! And TSA peeked in my bag too- lol. The lady/owner? Who helped me was simply wonderful! She said they are small, but have just the best customers! Next time I visit I will be SURE to be in there every single day! And try other specialty coffees. They made me want my own setup at home so I could brew my own coffee- their coffee!

I stopped in here on a whim and glad I did! The coffee was great with a nice sample bar for drip varieties and seeing the coffee roaster was an experience all on its own. They told me they run it weekday mornings so I plan to stop in soon!

This place is amazing! Super friendly staff, great prices, super yummy coffee! It was such a great experience, cant wait to go back and order another iced pumpkin spice oat milk latte! They use coffee ice cubes as well!

12oz Mocha carried on my walk to work.

Honeymoon Bay is my neighborhood coffee shop. I love the smell of coffee roasting, and I can smell it in the air from my house. The coffee by itself is excellent. I usually order some kind of Mocha though. I love going here as I prefer local over Starbucks. However I have to say the drinks are a bit inconsistent here. It all depends on the Barista. They'll get a good one, but then they will move on for a new opportunity. Just last Monday I had a great Mocha that I would have given a 5 star review and today with a different Barista my mocha was so weak that it tastes like flavored milk. (1 star). If you are sure that your favorite barista is there then this place is the best. Otherwise just get a regular coffee.

My husband and I visit this coffee house two times a year from California, it's amazing! all of the expectations of Coffee you'd expect from Washington you can find it at this establishment. Today we had the pleasure of meeting a barista named, Juan Carlos, from Puerto Rico who has added his sazòn to the coffee. All I can say its must when visiting Oak Harbor, Wa. There is coffee everywhere on the island. I've tried several and the coffee at HMB was simply bitter.

Favorite coffee in Oak Harbor. They roast their own with the roaster right in the store. $2 for any size drip coffee is great.

Very enjoyable, and we left with 3 bags of 3 different roast beans to do our own samplings at home. Look forward to our return after selecting the most promising roast from our first visit.

In short Great roaster with the deepest imaginable local…read moreroots. In long There are tons of warehouses along Bickford these days, and if you turn down in and zigzag around a bit, you find a fantastic local coffee wholesaler with a retail outlet right here. They have a big lineup and unbelievable prices. Just the nicest people, too. I have been hearing good things about them for a while and meaning to stop in. I was finally able to combine this with some other errands yesterday. It's a small storefront with a few shelves and a big counter area. Not a coffee shop to sip a mug--a place to buy beans. There's a big sign on the wall explaining the exact roast level for each bag of beans they offer. You can order online and pick up, or you can walk in to buy. They have a bunch of blends that do really well. I avoid blends; I want the different flavors of single-origin stuff. I'm thinking now I should have realized that the rave reviews I see for this place are for the blends. I tried the Kenya, which the owner was proud to explain is their highest-rated offering. It's a good coffee, but not single-origin in the sense that they note how it was processed and where it was grown. They just give you the country. That's still an enormous step up from where coffee was when I was a kid, and it's an impressive effort for coffee that's a mere $11/lb. The big sign on the wall said this was a medium roast, and what's in the mug is very smoky and dark. Too much for my tastes, but I'm glad to have finally tried this place. I'm looking forward to trying the other beans and finishing all this up.
