Stopped by Rainshadow Cafe while travelling through Sequim and tried their salmon bagel. Especially on a Sunday It got quite busy and we were lucky to get there at good time when there was no queue. The Salmon bagel was fresh, flavorful, and made for a really satisfying brunch. The cafe has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that fits perfectly with the laid-back feel of Sequim. Definitely a nice little local spot to grab breakfast or coffee if you're in the area. I'd happily stop by again next time we pass through the area and try more from the menu! read more

If you're staying at WorldMark in Discovery Bay or visiting Sequim, I highly recommend Rainshadow Cafe. What a great local find! They roast their own coffee and serve delicious breakfast and lunch, with beer and wine available later in the day. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with about a dozen tables inside plus covered outdoor seating. The staff couldn't have been friendlier--I had the pleasure of meeting Tara and one of her coworkers, and they made us feel right at home. The coffee was outstanding, and they offer a great selection of freshly roasted beans, from light to dark roasts. The pastry case looked amazing, and they also feature daily specials. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and I'll definitely be coming back for it--it was excellent! My wife had the spinach frittata with cheese and bacon, and she loved it. We only wish we had a place like this closer to home in Seattle. There are plenty of great coffee shops there, but this café has a special hometown feel that makes you want to come back. This place was incredible!! A lot of coffee shops serve prepackaged/microwaved food but this was all super fresh and delicious. We even met the baker! Everyone was really nice. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors is covered. My husband loved the burrito and I had the ham sandwich it was so delicious even the English muffin tastes freshly baked. I'm so impressed. I would come here everyday if I lived locally. Loved the honey tea cake and the chocolate zucchini banana muffin. The coffee was so tasty! 15/10 experience! read more

Nice cozy cafe with a lot of food and beverage options. They had a lot of breakfast and lunch options, ranging from breakfast sandwiches to soups. The breakfast sandwich we tried was tasty albeit a bit small, but the pumpkin scone was especially delicious and not dry at all. We also tried some of their specialty coffee drinks, but I regret getting 16oz since I couldn't taste the espresso as much. I think they roast their own beans so I would like to try their espresso drinks with less milk next time. read more

Place was cute. There were a few people in line on this Saturday and they were right down the street from the market happening, but the line moved quickly. Stumbled upon this cute café serving sandwiches, salads, pastries, etc. and coffee/non-coffee beverages. It seems like a nice place to study or catch up with a friend. There is indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio, which is dog friendly. My friend and I ordered the chicken pesto panini and TBA panini - both sandwiches were good. The very tiny side salad had no dressing on it, which was odd and confusing. The golden chai was fine. Overall, we enjoyed a nice lunch here. The service was friendly, and the bathroom was clean. I've been coming for a few years. First off, the food is actually quite good. I often order a breakfast sandwich or avo toast. As for the coffee, the actual beans are pretty good too. However, my biggest gripe is with the baristas. The past few times, my drinks (lattes, etc.) have been so hot that they burned the roof of my mouth. And the milk tasted burnt too from being over steamed. Needless to say, the lattes did not have a good foam consistency but rather more like dark murky bong water. Please train your baristas better! read more

This place is like a gem for coffee lovers. We got chai latte and regular latte, both amazing. Regular latte specially! In terms of food, we tried their veggie bagel and avacado toast. Bagel sandwich is the best, they put lot of veggies in it, including sweet potato. Avacado toast is okish, u wouldn't say it's the best but good enough to feed your tummy. We learned about Rainshadow Cafe from another cafe that served their coffee in Port Angeles; so while stopping by Sequim on the way home, we wanted to check out this local spot for some caffeine. Located in the downtown Sequim area, it's easy to find with plenty of street parking. The cafe was open for takeout, with their outdoor patio area open for guests. They also had a bunch of their different bags of ground coffee for sale. My boyfriend and I each ordered a medium roast drip coffee and shared the omega muffin, which we saw in the display case. The display case featured many different pastries and desserts, but they also had a full menu of breakfast items, like burritos and sandwiches. The coffee was solid, and just what we needed before the road trip home. The omega muffin was very good, as it was made with flax seeds, bran, fresh fruit, pumpkin seeds and coconut. You can't go wrong with that. If you're looking for a local coffee shop while in Sequim, this place will hit the spot. read more

The soup of the day was good, but again, the price was laughable. I also had a flatbread. It was ok. Not great and certainly overpriced. All in all, the coffee is good. The rest?
