TL;DR cute little shop that made a good redbull mixer and smoothie with friendly staff and nice interior. We stopped here since it was one of the only places open when we were on our way to the ferry this morning before 6. The person working was very friendly working both drive thrus and the inside. The interior was cute and small with a few tables and a little area with a couch and some chairs. Good stop if you're looking for an in between place to stop at for a quick drink. Poor service from rude girl (white female, long hair) at 8 am 9/26/26. Coffee was warm but not hot because she left it uncovered on the counter while waiting on another customer who arrived after I arrived. Sandwich took so long I had to leave without it, despite paying for it. read more

This is a great lil' local coffee house that offers drive thru and sit down dining/sipping! Prices are reasonable, baked goods tasty and the coffee is truly yummy!!! Nicely located on the way to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and some wonder housing communities, Cracked Bean is a great place to warm up and caffeinate!!! read more

Still good coffee, nice people. Still understaffed and still s-l-oooooooo-w. Usually, only one person working no matter how busy. Also, they don't offer a coffee card so you get a free drink after a certain number of purchases. But now, they're charging extra to pay with a card. An adorable coffee shop that is open until 6! Hard to find on the peninsula--and this is good coffee too. When we pulled in to town, we began looking for a good place to grab coffee and this delivered. Friendly staff, mask wearing, and very quick! My fiancé got an americano and I got an iced hemp latté. I just ordered a small warm hot cocoa for my child and a triple mocha. The mocha was missing a shot and they served it lukewarm, while the cocoa was boiling hot. They're open for dine-in today, July 1! Environment: Did a drive-thru and the shop looks well maintained. You can see all of the baristas working area when you get to the window. It felt like I was inside lol. Service: I can't complain, my barista that day was really friendly and have us tips on my spritzers which I appreciated since I couldn't choose a flavor for my life that day. She even showed us a cool colored spritzer she made that day! Drinks: The group got 2 redbull spritzers, and an Italian soda since we ordered at around closing time. I think the spritzer was great and they give a pretty good size cup too. It's the same size for the Italian sodas. One of the Neighborhood coffee shop in Sequim. It has a small sitting area, a souvenirs section...nice ambience with a helpful and friendly staff. The expresso special of the month is the Lavender Mocha....surprisingly delicious! It has a small hint of lavender and rich mocha flavor. We stopped here prior to heading to the Olympic Game Farm to get a drink. One thing I will note is that although there is a photo showing that they have a menu board outside, there is not one. Don't get me wrong, most people know what they want when they are going to a coffee stand, but if you're someone who doesn't know anything about coffee then you end up having to ask the barista what kinds of drinks they have in the drive through. As there was no menu, I decided to stick with something that is usually pretty safe...a blended vanilla latte. My friend got a toasted marshmallow coffee. The barista was very nice but alas the latte was very ho-hum. It was actually lacking in flavor of both coffee and vanilla. It tasted more like blended ice milk with water in it. My friend's toasted marshmallow on the other hand was very sweet. Too sweet to the point she couldn't finish it. She even put some water in it, but it was still too sweet. The prices were decent though for the sizes and type of drinks we got. It's just that the drinks weren't good and my friend should know since she's also a barista. Sequim's best In-Out flavoring focused espresso. The quality is consistently good enough, and they have some good specials throughout the year. I did get blown off once here but that particular employee did not last long ;) They open @ 5am which is nice for us early risers. read more

Pros: The server was very nice and friendly; she didn't mind my group changing our orders suddenly after seeing the small menu that had a bunch of other syrup suggestions. The coffee was good but pretty standard; I go to a lot of different coffee shops though so that isn't an insult I just have ridiculously high standards of what is above standard for coffee :) There is a small menu next to the cash register area that has a bunch of cool and yummy syrup combinations, I recommend checking it out! I like how they have books to flip through as you wait. Con: I wish they had more seating. read more

The best spot in Sequim for coffee! And I don't say that lightly as I've tried them all. They are right up there with my other fave, Java Jungle. The customer service is unrivaled, the coffee itself is always perfect, the shots are NEVER burned, and you always feel like you are visiting friends (unlike the large corporate joints where you feel like a number.) While staying in Sequim I tried every coffee spot and the cracked bean was my favorite. I tend to prefer coffee shops with a bohemian/vintage vibe but their hours (open til 7pm when I was there), speedy and friendly service, and conveneint drive through location made the Cracked Bean stand out among many other authentic local venues with their own offerings of culture. The cracked bean felt a little more like a corporate style coffe house with trendy glass art-chictecture and a spare aesthetic. read more

I'm not from Sequim, and did not realize how Big City (Olympia) I was. The wait for 3 very regular flavored lattes was incredibly long. We walked in and they were 4 drinks behind. No greeting or thanks for your patience. We finally placed our lavender latte orders. It was still at least 10 minutes before our 3 drinks were produced. I go to Sequim to visit family who live near this coffee establishment. I will look for a new source of FAST coffee in the area. read more

The Guy who works mornings who I believe is at least part owner & I had gotten along for well over a yr. when I came thru one early morning for the second time in less than a week, he made my coffee drink and filled the cup only just under half full all the rest was foam which I do not like much of at all. After driving around the building to explain to him at the price of these 20 oz. drinks that I want a full cup. He actually said I was wrong. So by way of proving to this now RUDE young man I put my finger down inside of the cup all the way to bottom of foam. When seeing that he indeed had done what I had said he said here I'll put in more milk. NOT OK IM SORRY MY MISTAKE LET ME MAKE YOU A NEW CUP. As I drove away after being called a liar and treated so Rudely I thought wow I always tip a dollar and have been a good customer for as long as the place had been open. A week or so later I went in to finish my punch card for a free drink by getting one more cup. I did mention to the girl working that day how he had treated me with such disrespect. She seemed as surprised to hear it as I was to have experienced it. He must have overheard from back room or was told about my complaint about his attitude SUCKING so bad, the result is I have been banned from the establishment. I guess you play crapes in the early mornings if he is making coffee whatever you do don't complain just take the half cup and go. They weren't even going to give me my free coffee I had coming from my punch card. I told them it would just be better for them if they live up to what I was told on day that I was 86ed, that they would give me the cup I had coming.
