Visiting from Philadelphia we found about Woods coffee. Just driving around a lot you get to see a lot of great coffee kiosks, but it is nice to actually sit in a coffee shop (and also have an access to clean restrooms). This location was cozy, and had just enough seatings, and for the size of their store they had 2 individual restrooms. The service was great! Coffee was well made, and I particularly enjoyed the bagel bites with different flavored savoury cream cheese fillings in the middle. read more

Very cute, local community coffee shop. I think there are a few franchises but it doesnt look like a big chain like Starbucks nor is it a mom and pop. Theres a fireplace with big comfy chairs inside. Many booth and bistro style seating inside. They offer wifi and inside seating (during COVID-19 with physical distancing, of course). I needed a place to connect and this was perfect. Relatively quiet. They offered masks for those that didn't have one and they allowed us to use their sanitation supply if we wanted to clean up the seating area ourselves. As I sat here working, many masked customers came in (and through drive thru), which were greeted by name or recognized (and vice versa). So I guess there are some local fans, recognizable even with a mask. Avocado toast was tasty but a bit pricey since it was kind of small in terms of breading but they were generous with the Avocado. I did enjoy the Salted Caramel Cold brew and would recommend it over the one I got at Starbucks a couple of days ago. Citrus rush was tangy and refreshing. CONS: Little gnats flying in circles in the center of the seating, but not sure if it was because of something they were attracted to or what but it was disturbing. read more

This is our go-to coffee shop whenever we drive down to Washington. The baristas are always friendly and nice. Their coffee is consistently great and I love that they offer oat milk as an alternative milk. They use trees for their cup sizing which is unique and goes well with the branding plus they have tree themed quotes on their cups too. Their breakfast sandwich is tasty and filling. They really executed their theme wonderfully and they also have cute merchandise for sale -- my husband bought a cap during one of our visits there. read more

I love coffee and I'm always in search for the best of the best from different places. This is the best coffee in this neck of the woods! No pun intended. I'd choose this over Starbucks any day. Their roast, which is roasted locally, is comparable to like a Caffe Vita in Seattle. I strongly recommend their lattes. I also recommend their smoothies. You can taste the fresh fruits that are used. It's perfectly sweet, and refreshing. They sell a variety of locally baked bakery items which looks really good. I opted out this time around but will definitely try it next time. The staff are very cheery, friendly and helpful which makes for a great experience. The environment is chill and relaxing with several tables and seats. Great place to hang out with buddies or study while enjoying a beverage item and some scrumptious baked goods. read more

I always appreciate the existence of woods coffee as the only real alternative to S bucks around here. Honestly though the coffee is OK, it has that chocolaty Stumptown taste which is only nice as a break from classic tasting coffee, and the prices suck! I never buy food here because I don't value paying $4-5 for a tiny little pastry. I just purchased an 8 oz Americano for over $3 and it wasn't hot, and it still had that chocolate taste. The company probably doesn't care about my opinion because I'm not wealthy enough to look beyond their prices, but the coffee roast could improve and they could increase the temperature because neither the drip nor americano is ever hot. Please stop making your beautiful employees wear masks!!! read more

MANY months ago I came here first time and was so wonderfully treated and greeted by Mckennah. She left a positive impression on me. This Woods coffee has plenty of parking and plenty of seating for sitting and catching up with friends or working on your laptop. It is clean and the bathrooms are also clean and well stocked. I am not a fan particularly of Woods dairy-free milk options so I opted for a loose leaf tea. I found the price to be very reasonable and the flavors were exactly as the tea was described. This Woods has composting and serves in-house drinks and food on reusable plates and mugs which I find to be an asset in managing unnecessary landfill waste. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the woman behind the counter was really slow at her work and I felt like I waited in line for far too long for only having two people ahead of me. read more

Went to the Mount Vernon location by the freeway entrance. I ordered a 16oz iced white chocolate americano w/ cream. When I got my coffee it looked off, I took a drink & it instantly made my stomach turn! I spent $4.95 plus a $1.00 and couldn't even drink this coffee. I still feel sick & even water didn't help. The person who took the order over the speaker said "Okay" and never said the price or to pull forward. Then I could hear the girl talking with coworkers but never said a thing to me. I pulled forward & she didn't greet me at the window then handed me my drink with straw paper stuck in my lid. Very unhappy with the service & crappy drink. read more

What a unique coffee shop! Never been here before, came here to sit down and talk with a family member of mine, and I loved it. The decor and atmosphere is entirely cabin-esque and very outdoorsy. They've done a fantastic job at matching the entire aura of the cafe to the name, which I really like. The service was pretty nice, and the prices are preeettttyy average. I ordered a London Fog Latte with soy, and my cousin had a Pumpkin Spice Latte. She absolutely loved her latte. And I thoroughly enjoyed my London Fog! I accidentally ordered a 16oz instead of 12, but ended up finishing it to my surprise. They use local tea, from Spice Hut. I was very happy with it. The cafe is rather loud when customers start rolling in, and the openness of the room allows for the sounds of the coffee grinder, steamer and blender to kind of amplify, making it difficult to talk. There is a little group room that you can use with 4 or more people (we ended up using it anyway) which helped a little with the sound. The seating was plentiful, and there's also several leather chairs by the fire place. I found the arrangements to be awkward, but that's okay. We spent several hours here and it felt like a comfortable place to spend the evening - also nice music choice! All in all, I really liked the atmosphere and how they executed the "Woods" theme. And I liked my drink... so that's that! I don't usually review chains, but I believe there's only a handful of these cafes - I would revisit! read more

Stopped here on the drive home for a pick me up. I really loved the asthetic of this place. It was cute and the theme was all woods. Their bagged coffee was named after wildlife and their coffee sizes are based on tree size which i thought was very thoughtful. The service was great and the baristas were all very friendly. I absolutely love this coffee spot! While on a road trip, I had spent a few days working from the Starbucks down the road. I was tired of the burnt-tasting cappuccinos, so I tried out woods. Boy am I glad that I did! Not only is the staff awesome, but one of the ladies explained how to make sure I don't get overcharged for my order. For example, I normally order a London Fog, with honey in place of the vanilla flavor. She suggested ordering a tea misto with honey, so I'm not charged for extra flavor. What a great tip. I've been working remotely from this spot for a few days now, and it's small enough to feel cozy, and large enough to accommodate multiple groups of people. This is their new location in Burlington and was opened in summer 2015. It's convinently located in the heart of shopping district/malls and right of exit 229 on I5 north. They have a drive thru and ample parking space around. Their selection of bakery items is good too. I have their small latte most of the times. Their beans are dark roasted in most cases, and it does bite me back as I'm more of medium/light roast guy. The baristas are friendly and accommodating. read more

These folks are great, consistently great coffee and Chai Tea. Staff is excellent, try to remember your name and what your drink is. This location is nicely decorated with combination of chair's, work tables and a simulated fire place. It has excellent WiFi and has drive thru. My only complaint (and my waist is happer for it) the snack's are relatively limited. read more
