Oh my goodness!!!!! Today it was our first time here and we are definitely coming back!! Seriously, the food is AMAZING! The portions are great! Good enough portions to get my husband full haha. We got there ten minutes before opening as we heard they get very busy. They got our order right away. Do be aware they don't accept card only PayPal, Cash or Check, this took us by surprise. We sat outside, the outdoor sitting is lovely!

I can't ember what it was and it doesn't matter...it was amazing!

If you don't mind waiting a loooong time to get the best food and the best French toast you have ever seen and tasted.... This is the place!

Stumbled upon this great find and got a chance to order a beverage and baked goods. Cash, Venmo and checks are accepted only. No cards. A small but mighty with charm. Visited on a busy on a Saturday morning with patrons enjoying breakfast.

Fried chicken with potatoes salad

We want to ordered Porchetta sandwich, but they sold out. We ordered fried chicken dish. It came with two legs, it was okay. It was not as crispy and more seasoned would have been better. There is hot sauce you can added if you don't like Ranch. For the price, may be quarter chicken with thigh and leg might be better. If you don't want to use breast. Potato salad was good but it is a side dish. Peach coffee cake was more like pudding cake, not coffee cake that I expected, they could have added more peaches . The peanut butter tahini was good and I don't even like peanut butter. My friends ordered soba noodle, I had a bit. It was better than fried chicken order. It comes with steak tofu. Another order was Caesar salad which I didn't tried but it was huge portion. Your ordered at the counter, they bring food to your house table. There is station for us to put away dishes. Also there is a water station. The restaurant decor is comfortable. There are seatings inside and outside. Cash or Venmo only.

Meatball sandwich

After spending the morning at the tulip fields, we headed to Bow/Edison area for a late lunch. I have been to this part of town before and remembered how cute it was, and wanted to bring my friends who had never been before. Parking: the area was busy, but I found street parking pretty easily! Pay: I think it was cash, venmo, or check only here! Def no credit card. I ordered: - meatball sandwich with a side of potato salad - double chocolate cookie - rice crispy treat with chocolate My food came out pretty fast. The taco place next door had a wait for food. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie because I thought it wasn't chewy enough, but I really enjoyed the rice crispy treat, and I loved how they had it thinly sliced so it was easy to share and eat. My meatball sandwich was also delicious and so filling! I am not the biggest potato salad fan, but enjoyed the side they gave me. I would definitely come back here!

Omg! this place is phenomenal charming Café in Bow that creates the most interesting and delicious experience! I can't find enough creative words to describe how delicious and beautiful this experience was.

Torta rústica, peach and blueberry pie, pork salsa verde, my belly.

Best food between Seattle and Vancouver hands down. Highest quality ingredients, best service, great rustic feel to the space, and most creative use of ingredients. It's my favorite. Just like smiling.

Wow! What a gem of a cafe! Cute, quirky ambiance with amazing , homey food perfect for a cold PNW day. My wife got the corn chowder and said it was the best corn chowder she's ever had. The pomegranates in the chowder had texture and sweetness to perfectly complement the earthly poblano peppers and the bitterness of the dandelion greens. I got the chicken pot pie and it was loaded with chicken, carrots, green beans, and peas. The team was so nice and friendly and came over to say hi to our 4 month old. We'll definitely make the trip back some time and let all of our friends know.

A bit pricey but you get a heaping amount of food. Quirky decor and everything fits the style. I'd love to see the lights on at night and wish there were weekday hours! Get there early, items sell out! Cash, check or Venmo! Outdoor seating with limited indoor space.

Pear tomatoes, guacamole, pickled onions, egg, corn. Torta version.

You'll never go wrong at Tweets. Best food in Edison. Food looks good, taste wonderful. Flavorful. Come see for yourself!

Salmon salad

The food is always tasty at Tweets! We ordered a salmon salad, quiche, and croissant sandwich this time. All were wonderful. I know it's redundant to write that it's definitely overpriced since it's mentioned so often. But it's true! We would eat here regularly if it wasn't so expensive. As it is, we only go when we have visitors. It was much less busy during this last visit than I have ever seen it. So the indoor area was not crowded at all and we got seats immediately. There were also plenty of seats outside. Because we were sitting next to the opening to the kitchen, we could hear the woman working there making fun of a couple customers who asked about the peanut content in the dishes. It says on the menu that they do not do ANY substitutions and they are adament, making no exceptions. So, if you ask, know that you will be mocked either to your face or behind your back. I would recommend trying this place at least once for the incredible food. After that, try the Mexican food place next door that is owned by the same person/people and then move on to other wonderful offerings in the area.

Gruyère pesto breakfast croissant!

The service is friendly and fast. The vibe is super cute and laid-back open air. Some of the best food you'll have anywhere. All farm fresh. I absolutely love the croissant egg and Gruyere pesto breakfast sandwich. Absolutely amazing.

This isn't a sterile chain shop--it's a warm, sunshiny hub built from beautiful wood tones, welcoming you to slow down and stay awhile. What immediately strikes you is how wonderfully curated the space is. Despite being "jam-packed" with thousands of quality used and collectible books, the store manages to feel open, airy, and inviting. The selection is fantastic, especially their deep cuts in Pacific Northwest History, general fiction, and esoterica. Browsing is a delight thanks to the meticulous organization that makes finding that hidden literary gem feel like a genuine discovery. The "Coffeehouse" part of the name is equally crucial. Serving delicious, locally-sourced coffee (like Olympia Coffee Roasters beans) and boasting a pastry case filled with unique treats--the legendary rosemary sea salt rolls, figgy bars, and baked goods are must-tries--it perfectly complements the reading experience. The friendly, attentive staff, who are clearly passionate about bookselling, are always ready to offer a recommendation or assist, often going above and beyond. Whether you're looking for a quiet, bright nook to get some work done, a comfortable chair to sip a vanilla bean latte, or an engaging evening out for a poetry reading or live piano music, Pelican Bay delivers. It's a bookstore with character, clearly beloved by locals and a mandatory stop for any visitor. It's the kind of place you'll remember long after you've left Anacortes. Highly, highly recommend!

I ordered a mornin' sunshine sandwich using sausage and a croissant. The texture of the freshly…read morebaked croissant was phenomenal. The slight bit of crisp was peak, and the flavor of the sausage was also quite good. Additionally, the egg was soft and fluffy while the cheese inside the egg was noticeably stretchy. I believe this is the second Calico Cupboard I've been to. This chain seems to place plenty of effort into setting the right vibe with its building, decorations, everything. With that in mind, I think the La Conner one probably does this better with its almost fairy tale-esque location right on the river. Aside from that, uuuuhhh, this is awkward. I came here with my mom, and she left a one star review. I believe this is the first time this has happened as I review almost every restaurant I enter, but her account is essentially inactive, appearing only to cast shame on something unpleasant. If she saw this review, she would probably be angry. But I doubt she'll ever read this (hopefully). If she does...maybe it's worth it to write a high quality review. Lmao. Eating at a restaurant with her does give me a small opportunity as I think of myself as a low maintenance customer. Conversely, she has specific requests, and I get to observe how much each restaurant is willing to accommodate. Recently, she will always order a veggie egg white omelette. She will order this whether it's on your menu or not. It needs to be egg whites, and it needs to be an omelette, not a scramble. She will basically never want breakfast meats and will probably ask for something like shrimp. Oh, and swiss cheese or mixed cheeses. And if there's bread, it has to be English muffin. Absolutely no potato stuff. Calico Cupboard, to their credit, was able to meet all of these needs except that they don't have shrimp lol. Oh, and I guess the English muffin was an extra charge. She liked the broccoli. Anyways, service was slightly delayed, which left my coffee cup temporarily empty. I guess that's objectively a hit on service. Also, she didn't like the look and texture of her English muffin. I didn't try it so I can't judge that aspect, but I guess the cut did look rather "flat" to me for some reason. So these were the, uuuuhh, "impetus," for her to find something else, and she found it on a grape. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of this before the waitress took it to the kitchen, but it was some small....white.....thing. In my personal opinion, I could not tell what it was at all, and it could've been some small disfigured piece of egg or cheese, but she was adamant that it was a "bug." And basically demanded to know why the kitchen didn't clean their fruits. The waitress agreed (or at least pretended to agree) that it looked off and went to the kitchen with it. However, the back of the house was not so easily intimidated and maintained that they did clean their fruits and there was nothing wrong with it. As a result, even though the waitress apologized, we did not get a discount for the "bug," which obviously put her in a bad mood. I did at least take a picture of my own fruits, with the grapes towards the front. But naturally, I was unable to capture the same, errr, contaminant.

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! The shop it's self is small but beautiful as were the other customers enjoying their coffee made room for my little at the counter to look at all the treats in the case! Can't wait to head back and try some of the other yummy treats they have to offer!

We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average
