Ordered online for a future time pickup, easy to order what we wanted. Called to make a change to our order and was accommodated. When it was our pickup time, we were told that they didn't have our food ready. Apparently when ordering online, the ticket doesn't print until the time of pickup. We ended up waiting for another 30 minutes before our food was ready... Food was hot and fresh when it came out. Good tasting Cascade burger, which came with a double patty. Patties were on the dry side, but the buns were delicious. Sweet potato fries were thick and tasty. We also tried some of their crinkle fries, which tasted great with all the condiments they gave us. Milkshake was good but very thick. Lots of flavors to choose from. P2 ordered the butterscotch and had no complaints. We would return as we enjoyed our food, but next time call in our order instead of ordering online. read more

If I could give this place 6/5 stars I would. The food made me feel like I climbed to the top of Mt Baker, it was phenomenal! And pretty worth it for the price, it was affordable. Service was smooth and quick even when backed up a little. They handled everything quite well and were well mannered. The interior was definitely my favorite! On the side of the walls there were old bottles and it was decorated with vinyls and pictures. I would definitely recommend this place when going through concrete it is a must stop!!! read more

Oh my goodness what a little gem! We spotted this place on our way to North Cascades National Park and said yup, we're stopping there on our way back from hiking. This place was POPPING. It felt like this was the town's favorite place. I got a veggie burger and we split fries, both food items were delicious after a day of hiking. Service was friendly and wonderful. There's limited seating inside and some seating outside as well. The food took a little while to come out, but was worth the wait. We got milkshakes to go, and I got a mint Oreo milkshake and it was amazing. What a great little stop! 60's themed on the inside with fun Halloween decorations. Went to Cascade Burgers with my daughter Ashley and her daughter Kayleigh. Ashley ordered the chicken strip basket and I ordered the clam strip basket. Ashley's chicken strips were very good, but the fries were way too salty. service was great!!! But... My clam strip basket was very disappointing. The portion size looked big at first, but almost all of it was breading/crust with barely any actual clam inside. I honestly felt like I got the bottom of the bag because there were maybe only one or two pieces with real clam in them. For about $13 plus tax and tip, I expected actual clam strips, not mostly fried coating. I ate some of the fries, but I was extremely disappointed with the clam basket and would never order it again. I really feel I should at least receive a partial refund for that meal. read more

What does one do when they are trying to keep up with his friend's girl who is on her journey to find a certain lake that is way off the path we should be on ?? Their veggie burger is seriously one of the best I've ever had. It's not a beyond/impossible "fake meat" patty, but a yummy black bean veggie patty. The sauce was good too. We ordered takeout and realized they forgot a whole burger, but they fixed the mistake right away. My only complaint was that the garlic fries weren't amazing; they are basically crinkle cut fries with minced garlic on top. The shake was super thick, and they have a great selection of soft drinks. Decent burgers. Terrible milkshakes made with disgusting artificial syrup, don't order one bc if you ask for a new one since it's absolutely horrendously gross, they won't give you one. We stopped here after hiking NCNP and were thankful for an open place when everything else was closed for the season! They had a handful of tables inside and a drive thru open as well. Service was fast and food wasn't the best we've had but a solid four stars. Tried their signature sauce after other reviews said it was good but actually didn't love it! Would have rather had a BBQ or ranch. Recommend for anyone traveling through looking for a warm meal! read more

genuinely the most disgusting food ive ever eaten, i ordered a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and an ice water, the water is clearly contaminated and tastes awful. the sandwich tasted dirty? no flavor, just gross. to make up for the water, i ordered their lotus "specialty drinks" that are advertised to come in a large bucket, with candy included. for the price this is what i was expecting, but i received a 20oz cup with awful tasting lotus and cold foam. then, my girlfriend got an order of chicken and waffles, she took a couple bites and said it wasnt too bad. but then she took another bite into her chicken strip and it was ice cold, still frozen. we got up and left without saying anything to the employees. dont waste your money on this shit show, and do not tip, youll regret it. I love these old 50's style diners! This one is very convenient and right on Hwy 20 in Concrete. I saw the High School nearby and figure they have a build in customer base there! I had Cascade Burger basket with fries & a Diet Pepsi. My wife had the Mushroom burger and the kids had the chicken strip meal and a Veggie Burger. all food was great and very filling. Cooked fresh so you do have to wait a bit but it's worth it. Very cool retro inside dining area and 10 outdoor picnic tables available. Great place to try! read more

Not sure why someone below gave them 1 star for their covid practice, since it's drive thru or call in only. If you're that scared, stay home & eat at home. Don't go out and give small, hard working businesses bad reviews and try to have them go under. It's 2020, and a pandemic. Have some grace good grief. This restaurant is doing its' best like we all are and instilling good practice by having a drive through only or pick up option. And super affordable. They are about 50 minutes away from north cascade national park, so it's a nice pit stop. Especially being next door to a gas station. We ordered two deluxe special hamburger meals. It came with two large fountain drinks, crispy fries, and juicy cheeseburgers. I would come back to eat here again. Thank you for being opened. read more

Never order a salad from a drive through burger joint. I ordered a fried chicken salad and it was a bit of a hot mess, literally. They must have taken the chicken right out of the frier, cut it up, tossed it on the lettuce, then sprinkled a ton of finely grated cheddar on top. The chicken was hot enough to wilt the lettuce and melt the cheese and turned it into something resembling a pizza. It's dog friendly and the people are nice. read more

Rare to find a burger joint where a classic burger doesn't set you back nearly $10 without sides. Also rare to find is a burger joint outside of the city offering vegetarian options. Cascade Burgers out in Concrete is a cool unique find on the way to or from the North Cascades National Park. It has an old timey road diner feel inside, with route 66 and Elvis art all of the walls, plus an old school juke box player. The inside seating and outdoor patio seating is clean and comfortable. The mountainous backdrop when you sit outside on a beautiful day as today in June is beautiful. The service is order at the counter and the nice yound women working the counter bring it to you. We ordered the deluxe burger special (single patty cheeseburger with fries and drink) for $7.75 and a vegetarian patty burger for myself ($5.50ish). The burgers come on large and soft burger buns with iceburg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and generous smearing of pickles relish, mayo, ketchup and I think mustard too. The fries are crinkle cut fries which I get excited about cuz you don't see these types all that often. I enjoyed my veggie patty burger. It's not housemade but is chock full of veggies like carrots and peas. It was creamy rather than as crisp as I would have liked but I didn't expect too much as I knew ahead that it is a frozen patty. I could tell it had typical frozen mixed veggies put into a patty form but I still enjoyed it overall. The bf said his burger was solid. The place also has a double patty burger called the "Cascade" burger which would likely satisfy bigger appetites. They also sell Glacier ice cream for a really good price (ie single scoop $2.50), milkshakes, corn dogs, basic taco, kids meals, fish and chips, shrimp (probably fried), salads, and chicken sandwiches. They also offer burgers in jalapeno, avocado, teriyaki, hawaiian versions. In summary, a unique old timey spot for classic good sized burgers in cool retro setting with options for anyone in your party at a ridiculously good price for today's economy. read more

Cascade Burgers is legit! Stopped here on a trip out to see the Bald Eagles. Split a Deluxe Burger and Fries special. The Deluxe Burger was delicious, made to order, and fresh. The crinkle cut fries were fried perfectly, and had that nice crunch. I dipped them in Homemade tartar sauce, and finished with a hand dipped banana milkshake. Based on mostly favorable reviews, I stopped here for lunch yesterday, a Tuesday, a little before noon. Quite a decent bleu cheese and bacon burger and good fries. I got my food about 10 minutes after I ordered. Cashier was cheerful and polite. Food seemed quite fresh. All in all, it was what I hope to get in a roadside burger place.
