Confession: one of the unspoken reasons I was excited to move to the Skagit Valley (other than the fact it was the only place in Western WA I could afford to buy a house on my own) is the fact there's a Taco del Mar here. It's their northernmost location here in WA, and the next one to the south requires battling harrowing traffic. And why do I love TDM so much? Two words: fish burrito. And here, similar to a famous sandwich chain, you order it like you want it. Mine is always the same: flour tortilla, guacamole, little bit of rice, pinto beans, crispy fish, cheese, pico, TWO kinds of salsa, cabbage and of COURSE their epic white sauce. Nom nom nom, I can almost taste it right now. Prices have gone up here, as they have everywhere, so I can no longer say it's an under $10 meal. But it *is* big enough to eat half for lunch and the rest for dinner. I'd leave 5 stars, since this location is always fast, friendly, and has great parking. But I'm hoping someone from TDM reads this and fixes your listing on Uber Eats. Because somehow they've forgotten to include pinto beans as an option on the app, and though I've mentioned it in person a few times, it's still unchanged. Definitely a first world problem, but sometimes I'm just feeling too lazy to drive to Burlington for a dang burrito! read more

We had Taco Del Mar cater our Super Bowl party! It was wonderful! Food was delicious and we had more than enough for the whole group! The service was outstanding! We didn't have to worry about anything but the drinks! Highly highly recommend!! We will absolutely go to them again for any event! Place was clean and I was promptly greeted upon entering. Food itself was okay but not worth the price. $18 for a chicken quesadilla and a side of beans & rice seems a bit steep. I wish their tortillas were fresher or at lease made in house, that would have really elevated the meal. I do love whatever they season the chicken with though, that's part of the whole reason I went. Overall OK but I probably won't be back unless I have extra money. read more

Placed an order through Uber eats to get a burrito I understand it is not them that cannot get a person to deliver it but the fact they did not offer to re-make my burrito after it sat for an hour is ridiculous horrible customer service. I am extremely upset I got charge for the for the price of the burrito through Uber eats and it is an hour old and I had to pick up the burrito myself not once was I offered it to be remade. Thanks for a cold burrito that was just sitting on a counter and he said he won't get anything for the burrito. So you're telling me a burrito cost 14 to make if that was true you would not be making money to have a business open And good customer service he would've offered to remake it for me. Much better than the Chipotle next door that had grizzle in my meat the night before...I enjoyed my very tasty shredded beef burrito bowl along with the great tortilla chips. Also came in a plastic bowl instead of a flimsy paper bowl that leaks. read more

Food is fresh and generous portions. They have daily specials which really add a lot of guidance to what to order. Service is consistent. Clean lobby and bathrooms, and has that memorable tiki theme going on. I highly recommend. read more

I normally don't give 5 stars to big chains like this, but they earned it. The place is clean and the service was awesome. The staff was full of smiles and personality. The food was delicious. The reason for the 5 stars is due to the fact, that every person leaving the store, made it a point to compliment the staff and the food. Great culture here. Keep up the great work. And BTW. They charged me 8.50 for a quesadilla. And rang it up as "cheese nachos". They then burned my quesadilla.I go to a different location often and this experience made me appreciate my normal location a lot. Avoid this location, but support other locations is my take. read more

I was very disappointed! The food looked like it had been siting for hours. I almost left when looking at it but I was hoping it tasted good. I was soooo wrong! Over salted and their famous Alaskan white fish was nothing more than a microwaved fish stick. I will never come here again! read more

I've been a long-time fan of Taco Del Mar, but all the locations I used to go to have really gone down hill. I happened to go to this location while driving through and it's the Taco Del Mar that I fell in love with originally. Service was excellent. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and flavorful. They didn't skimp on my burrito like all the other Taco Del Mars near me started doing. The lobby was clean. I wish whoever manages this place would come to Seattle to show them how to do it right. read more

Good and quick when you need that burrito fix. They are huge though so expect left overs.

This is a great place that impresses me every time. Last time I was there it was absolutely packed, with only one employee working. I understood why they didn't have enough staff because Burlington was a ghost town a few hours prior (Seahawks playoffs :)). Although the guy working had a huge line, he was very laid back, yet fast. He had a great attitude and did his best, never showing stress. I have worked in that environment, and it IS stressful! The food was good and it was all reasonably priced. Taco Del Mar is a definite 4 star fast food chain. It's basically the Subway of burrito joints. You pick what kind of meat, tortilla, and fixings you want as your burrito is carefully crafted right before your very eyes. They have a good number of options so you can customize your burrito to your preference. You know exactly what you're getting when you sink into that first bite of awesomeness. The burritos here are mammoth and a whole meal unto themselves. I am always more pleased here than at Qdoba or similar places. They also have a large selection of Nantucket Nectars, so that is a major plus as well. read more
