Our relationship with Applebee's continues. The service and staff were good as usual. We always sit in the bar. I decided to try their ribeye steak. The photo on the menu did not match what I got. I know the ribeye cut can be fatty but this particular steak was thin and riddled with fat and gristle. I felt like I was performing surgery instead of cutting meat. I ate what I could but for $25 I expect something I can eat most of. The other thing I noticed was the bill. This was the first time I have spent over $100 there including the tip. Yes I tipped almost $20 but that's getting to be the standard because the bills are higher everywhere. It's just a sign of the times. Prices are high everywhere. We like Applebee's and this was the first miss in awhile.

Southern Apple Fritter ($5.99). Awesome!

Man, I really need to remind myself to edit and update reviews with a laptop, rather than on the Yelp! mobile app. The mobile app always seems to duplicate reviews. Anyway, we had dinner at Applebee's in Burlington again last night. Amanda was our server, and she is always amazing! Friendly and attentive, Amanda does a great job, and has really been a focal point of my wife and I deciding to visit Applebee's on a semi-regular basis.

This was my last visit. A couple Fridays ago.

What a lovely place! We aren't in Burlington often so haven't had much chance to stop here. Glad…read morewe did! Ambiance is on point. Cocktail list is large and has great variety. The seasonal we had was inventive and delicious. That old fashioned was honestly excellent - peep how they froze the cherry in the rock. Cute! Burger - great Cheesesteak - great with some flair (I wanna say maybe some gochugang somewhere in there?) Fries - really good and plentiful Service - if they didn't shine elsewhere (and they do) they'd really shine here. All helpful and witty. If you have business in Burlington - eat here If you don't have business in Burlington but find yourself hungry on that stretch of the interstate - eat here. But not if you have kids. 21 and up! 10/10 will return

We only had to wait a few minutes - 5 minutes maybe - before they called us in to be seated. Once seated we were served water and then they began taking drink orders. Since we were there for Sunday Brunch we waited a bit for the stragglers to arrive before ordering our meals. Service in general was excellent. Very timely without hovering. I ordered their Double Bloody Mary, a drink they are well known for around these parts. It's a drink and a meal all in one! The Bloody Mary was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it. They have an extensive breakfast menu available for brunch so a second visit will be in order. All in all it was a nice way to celebrate a birthday and eat brunch. Well worth a visit.
