My husband and I are currently sitting in Lorenzo's, eating like kings. We both got the Boom Boom Carne Asada and we both silently sat and mowed through our food like it was nothing. Absolutely drop dead delicious. The bacon wrapped shrimp with the peppers and onions had our what about bob emerging out of us. I've been going to Lorenzo's since it was at its smaller location but consistently it's the best. We arrived at 530 on a Tuesday and already the restaurant was packed! We were seated immediately and our server came over right away to get drink orders. Our group had a strawberry margarita, blackberry margarita, Shirley Temple and 2 waters. The margaritas were amazing and it was one of the few times you can actually taste the tequila (at other restaurants it's usually just the fruit flavor). Our food came out super quick and everything was amazing! None of us got the same thing and everyone enjoyed everything. For being crowded it didn't like it. We will definitely be back. read more

Order to go: If you're going to charge me $20 a plate for a #22, you need to put some food on my plate! I probably didn't even have 1/4 cup rice and beans. Tiny little bag of chips and a little cup of salsa that was half full. Heck, I got more napkins than food. El Gitano in Bham is so much more generous and has better food. read more

Queso dip had chorizo on top! Excellent flavor. We also really liked the fresh flavor of the salsa that comes with the chips. I had a flaming fajita dish! Also very tasty. Family friend recommended this spot that I never knew existed. The restaurant was clean and big! The food was great! Very authentic and the portion you get for the price is a lot. The flavors were delicious! The chips and salsa had a fresh taste to them. The only plate we didn't enjoy is the shrimp crab tostada. It seemed like a salad with a piece of tostada way at the bottom. No flavor to the shrimp or crab. Otherwise ALL of the food was very tasty! Customer service was excellent! Amazing Mexican food. Brought my parents here and we were blown away by the taste of everything. Their chips and salsa to start was so delicious I wanted to drink the salsa. Fun side note.... For $6 you can take a medium container of the salsa home!!! The tacos and enchiladas and the tortilla soup were very good. And the plates came out nice and hot. My dad had the hugest margarita that was very tasty. For dessert we shared the cheesecake chimis which was the sweetest creamiest piece of heaven. The service was good. Food is good, always been good everytime i go. Salsa is a not consistent but not to big of a deal. Just maybe its fresh is why. Service is fast and reliable. Lunch at Lorenzo's Mexican Restaurant in Sedro-Woolley after a trip to Artist Point. We have been traveling all summer and this was definitely my favorite meal so far! My husband had the enchiladas rancheros. I had the grilled tilapia with plenty of leftovers. We really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant. I had been here for lunch once before and thought the chicken mole was done perfect. I live in Anacortes and Sundays there are not many restaurants open. I am home and not wanting to leave the house, door dash shut down for some reason so I remembered Munchie Dude delivers. The food was fantastic. Durango Tour was spicy but just what we needed and quality carne asada cooked perfectly, not dry. I got the shrimp and crab chimichanga. A really nice change from the usual chimichangas with really good flavor as well. We will be ordering again through Munchie Dude. Service and delivery was also spot on. I like that I can support a local delivery service, get great food and not have to leave the island when I've had a long week. read more

I've stopped here twice in the last month. It was very good both times. Warm, fresh chips. Had a combination plate the first time and one of their Mexico City tacos lunch specials the second. Service both times was prompt and every employee I had contact with was very outgoing and courteous. 10/10 amazingness. The food comes lighting fast and is super bussin. The wait times are pretty fast too. They also have a cool little chart that shows you what fountain drink options they got so it makes deciding easier. And the chips. OMG these tortilla chips hit different. Food is better than it was when it was the other Mexican restaurant. Also the best one in woolley. However I don't know who that guy was that would greet everyone maybe an owner or a cook but his presence is sorely missed. I couldn't really tell but he was really friendly and it just seems like the service isn't genuine anymore or maybe everyone is overworked. Also the prices have skyrocketed. I know I know it's tough out there but if I'm gonna pay $30 something dollars for carne asada I want it to be really good and cooked medium rare when I ask for medium rare. This place is SO GOOD. The food is excellent - my boyfriend always gets steak tacos al carbon and I get the al pastor tacos. Definitely the tastiest pastor I have ever had, flavor is perfect and it's really juicy and tender. I have also had the carne asada which was scrumptious as well. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and really chill. It has outdoor seating with heat lamps. Highly recommend! read more

Lorenzo's has been our place for Mexican food in Sedro for years. Just had our first bad experience with a "to go" order. Ordered 2 ground beef taco salads for my wife and I. We got home and started eating them, they looked good from the top, but the ground beef was almost no existent in the bottom. I understand restaurants are cutting back portion sizes and charging more with this economy. However, there were probably 9-10 small pieces of ground beef in the bottom of these taco salad. Very disappointed, I thought these guys were better then that. No doubt they even care about this review, but someone might find it helpful when ordering a ground beef taco salad. read more

Nice restaurant but honestly disappointed in their food and lack of customer service! This is a large establishment with great outdoor seating! Enough to be super spread out! And bar area .. this is why I'm giving this place a three star! The food however.. my husband got carne asada plate and the meat was super salty .. he could not eat it because of how salty it made everything taste! I got the carne asada nachos and oh my gosh super cheesy which I don't mind but when you add the carne asada it is overwhelming because of how salty everything turns out! The waiter noticed my drink was out because he looked at it several times but never asked if I wanted a refill.. initially to have someone take our order took about 15-20 minutes during a time when there was only one more party in the restaurant.. guess they don't need the business? To have them come by to give us our bill took a while too.. nobody around to ask and again.. place was empty! Don't think I'd recommend this place! Maybe not for a meal but maybe to watch a football game it may be different as the ambiance feels pretty cool in there! read more
