Having multiple items unavailable on your food items is a little odd. Usually like Panera and came to this location in a pinch because we wanted a sandwich from Costco and the food courts closed for repairs. When ordering the sandwich I usually get it had an item that was out of stock, then after ordering we were waiting for 10 minutes they came up to me asking about another item being not in stock and if it was ok to make it. Definitely prob look for another location which will have everything on it. read more

Well, well, well kiddos just imagine I have thrown out the ever fleeting five stars. Five stars because honestly, the cashier was a saint waiting on my husband to make a choice of some sort as he was going between the two and so I just ordered the sandwich he wanted to order and honestly I wasn't expecting much . To report that I was beyond thrilled with everything in the same visit at the same place at the same time , the service , the cleanliness and everybody's being polite and nice. The table was spotless, but the best part is that dang salad and that crazy good sandwich. Hubby said salad was very good but the wonderful bread with spectacular Italian beef was beyond stupendous and of course you always have a dessert, the everything kitchen sink cookie is still a winner. Panera Bread is a fave, and the staff at this one is usually Friendly & helpful. I stop here on my way to & from Canada. It's next to a Costco Gas (cheap cheap), and costco. It's a standard format restaurant layout for Panera bread. The you pick two is a favorite (broccoli cheese soup & sandwich or green goddess salad). The parking lot can be a little awkward mixing with Costco traffic. But definitely worth the stop. read more

I am very upset at my experience. We experienced a problem within every area of this restaurant. The food was very gross. My family and I had ordered two mac and cheeses, and a "You pick two" with wild rice soup and a sandwhich. The sandwhich and one of the max and cheese were good. The young man working at the register named Alex deserves the world. This guy put forth so much effort into serving me, recommended me sandwiches, and even came over for a taste test to see if I liked it. This guy cares more about his job than I currently care about anything in life and it was very clear he was putting forth as much effort as possible to do his job perfectly. This is genuinely a remarkable young man and it was really refreshing to see how polite and professional he was. Genuinely this guy should be put to work somewhere more valuable and he deserves a raise. I've never met such a professional fast food employee in my life. In the nicest way imaginable, this employee is on the spectrum and truly goes to show that his disability does not stand in his way. I totally get the negative reviews, but I've had an overwhelmingly positive expirence at this location. The staff may not be the most friendly- but they seem to be patient for first time customers. The food is what you'd expect from a chain. Not the freshest, but it's decent. I started to enjoy this location more after they added flat-bread pepperoni pizza- and I've been coming here more often. Although not the best place to eat, there's not a whole lot of better places for quick dining at a chain restaurant in this area. I think it's this, Five Guy's and Olive Garden? Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT - healthy, but still very tasty. Avocado was ripe, turkey wasn't too dry, bacon added flavor and bread was fresh. Bear Claw Pastry - not healthy, but who cares, it was freshly baked and delicious The dining area was clean, bright and well maintained. It was comfortable and kid friendly. Tonight was hands down the worst owner experience I've ever had. I got there a little before 7:30 which I thought was enough time since the store closed at 8. No one was there to greet me at the door so I took advantage of the kiosk. Shortly after an employee greeted me and was extremely nice. After that things took a turn for the worse. The employees in the prep station begin yelling and complaining that I ordered once they were closed. I could hear them calling me profanities and an idiot for ordering so late. Next they turned off the lights and told me this is what happens when you order from a closed store. Then the person vacuuming began ramming the vacuum into the bench I was seated at. When I was finally able to pick up my food the employee would not give me a drink cup. This is the first time I've ever felt unsafe at a Panera and will not be returning. I did not eat the food out of fear that something was done to it. read more

The girl that took the order was nice and efficient. Went to go get a table and every table we went to was dirty. I Asked if somebody could wipe the table, they just walked away I assumed to go get a rag to wipe my table. Waited and waited nobody came so I went back and they handed me a dry towel,WTH? Not only did they expect me to wipe my own table but they gave me a dry towel to wipe it with so I said could you wet this please finally some girl came out with the dry towel walked towards the table I said again could you wet this please. She went and got some wet rag, was not friendly and left the table pretty much sopping wet. For the prices the food was horrible. I could've went to Subway which is subpar as well and gotten a better sandwich. Haven't been to Panera in years didn't used to be this bad will never be back. I think the smoothie use to be fresh fruit tasted like it came out of a plastic container and was blended up. It was horrible my child wouldn't even drink it. Also I left them a tip when I bought my order wished I hadn't, really wanted to go ask for it back lol horrible experience. The soup tasted like it came out of a can Campbell's would've done a better job. Order accuracy to me has been between 50% and 60% for some time. Staff frequently fails to bring food to cars a curb side, store has historically run out of bread frequently. Not an issue with other Panama Bread / St. Louis Bread Co restaurants I've been to. Shame the one in my home town can't figure it out. read more

We stopped in the Burlington Panera around 6:30 PM on a Sunday. They close at 8:00. Nearly everything we tried to order they were out of. We settled on two bowls of the only soup they had left (tomato) and one ham sandwich to share, again not our first choice but it was all they had apparently. We also noticed there were no cookies, muffins, etc. in the display - they were completely empty. When we got our order, there were two small sandwiches and our soups. The sandwiches had no mayonnaise or mustard, nothing but the meat, lettuce and onion. When I asked the manager for packets of the condiments, we were told they don't order them anymore. I told her our sandwiches were completely dry so she offered me some mayonnaise. We have always enjoyed going there but needless to say, we were very disappointed! read more
