The formally Jeda's Thai Kitchen is now Naung Mai's Thai Kitchen and it is DELICIOUS! Looks like they knocked down the walls next door to expand because I remember Jeda's kitchen being oh so tiny. The atmosphere is awesome, you're greeted right away, and everyone has been incredibly friendly and attentive. It looked like they had their own local foods on the menu to choose from which is pretty awesome. I love it when people add food that THEY have/had in their area along with the common and popular foods. For starters we got fresh spring rolls and shrimp in blanket. Both so good! I got the Mama Pad with squid. Mama's secret sauce! It was delicious! My boyfriend got the spicy duck - cooked and flavored to perfection! Oh and the eggnog Thai tea - apparently my boyfriend said that was incredible haha. I would definitely come back!

In town for a work trip and in the mood for lighter fare after a long drive. This place was on the route for us so we decided to stop in. It's a small business and was a little busy but we were still seated right away in one of the corners. I almost wondered if they forgot about us because it took awhile for someone to take our order, I think they actually did if I remember correctly! We ordered a sampler, wings and I got the red curry with shrimp. All of the food was really good, cooked and seasoned well. Our food came out pretty quickly, I think an attempt to correct their error earlier lol All of our dishes were good, and the prices were decent. Though small, it accommodated some families of 4-5, and the noise level was fine. Overall it was a positive experience and would recommend based on the food.

I ordered pad thai to go for lunch. The service was speedy over the phone and they said it would only take 10 minutes and they were right. Kudos to the service. I feel like I may have just ordered wrong. Normally when I try a new thai restaurant, I will order pad thai first. That is what I did and I wish I ordered something different. It was a super red/orangey color which seemed a little off. Normally pad thai isn't this bright of a color. I got it 3 stars and it wasn't that spicy either. Overall, it hit the spot in the moment but I didn't eat my leftovers and wouldn't order this again.

Lunch special. Red curry, brown rice, chicken... 10 bucks!

I tried many things on his menu, and all of them are good... I have no real complaints. Today I enjoyed the lunch special for 10 bucks. It's pretty hard to beat, but not quite enough food for lunch. Seating for maybe 15-20 people, And they crank out food like it's nobody's business... Kind staff as well which always helps:)

Decided to dine in this evening. The room got a lot bigger!!! So excited to have more seating. The service was quick and expedient as always. I always tell myself I'm going to get something different this time but end up getting the Pad Thai. It was excellent. Thanks again!

Naung Mai Thai Kitchen is a tiny restaurant in Oak Harbor. During the pandemic, they focus on takeout, but my daughter and I dined inside. We were in a rush and the staff quickly took our orders and settled our bill fast. The food itself was just okay. The satay lacked flavor and my green chicken curry was more like a soup with very few chicken pieces in it. Also, my Thai iced tea was watered down.

I'm going to start with the service because it was excellent. Our server was very attentive to our requests. The robot that brought the food out was also very polite! lol! My partner had the Pumpkin Curry and it was delicious. He said he would order it again. I was not as lucky... I ordered the Rama with spinach and shrimp. My major complaint was that the peanut sauce was not heated up enough to steam the spinach and the whole dish was just cold. I might have over looked that but the peanut sauce was blah, almost watered down, no flavor at all. So if there is a next time I'll try the Phad Thai. Wish they had served Sake to drink.

Fabulous fresh, perfectly cooked meal with so may options it was hard to choose. Wish they had a restaurant in Bellingham!

Expensive but robotic waiters are entertaining. Portions are small, can't justify the prices.

Their food is good. The menu is a bit limited. They don't serve chicken satay, but have other appetizers.

Red curry is a simple dish and that nice texture of coconut milk adds a rich comfort to a simple a delicious dish. When the coconut milk separates and achieves that watery consistency, it loses everything. The good news is that it's easy to detect, because a flavorless red curry with a texture barely up to the consistency of water, it's absolutely disgusting. Yes, I called and let the business know. Yes, they offered to remake it. No, I didn't accept, that's not good enough. Takeout means the need to monitor the food at the moment it goes out. It's impossible to dish up a watery red curry and not know. Not doing so simply means someone didn't care. I also don't care now. I don't care to support a business that doesn't support me. I'm not going to drive back to the store to fix two mistakes, one not cooking the dish right and two, going ahead and dishing it up so my dinner is ruined. You didn't just ruin a dish, you ruined a relationship, lost a customer. Gone. Because somebody made a choice and now I have also. Disappointing.
