Delicious food. Prompt service. Very friendly owner, chef and other staff. Family owned. Convenient location. Loved it.

The staff is so friendly and personable, and the food is excellent! I had the green curry. It was fantastic.

I personally think this is the best Thai place in Oak Harbor. Very flavorful and saucy! read more

123 Thai Food - (Top) Pad Thai - shrimp (Bottom) pad 36. Phad See Iew (Pad-See-You) - tofu - Thai Near Me - Oak Harbor, Washington

Ordered 3 star fried tofu pad Thai yesterday. Tofu was good; otherwise, without question, the WORST I have ever eaten. Spice level was negative one; no bean sprouts, lime, herbs, or much of anything else other than pasty wheat spaghetti noodles and a ketchup heavy sauce. I liked this place in the past; probably will not go there again. read more

The food is amazing, and always in big portions so you can take some extra home. I used to come here all the time a few years ago, and the only thing that would keep me from leaving a five-star review is that they are no longer open on Sundays, which is when my family usually goes to get food. read more

Just ordered for my parents for the first time and they loved it and so did I! It was very nice and quick and friendly service..

I've reviewed 1-2-3 Thai before and gave it an awesome review. I decided to try it again during "the pandemic". The only difference is that there is no dining in , all orders are to go only. It's possible to order online, call, or walkup. I chose to do the online method and it was straightforward with no difficulty or surprises. I ordered my favorite dish, Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken. I really like spicy food, so I chose Spice Level 4 (the highest choice). The website advised me that my order would be ready in 25 minutes. I got to the store 15 minutes early so I just went shopping in the nearby grocery store. When there was only about 3 minutes left I parked outside 1-2-3 Thai. There were 4 reserved parking spots for "Curbside Delivery". Shorty after I parked an employee came out to my car and I informed him I had placed an online order. A couple minutes later my order was brought to my car and I headed home to enjoy my meal. Even though I had ordered the highest Spice level, I could not taste any heat. Oh well, next time I'll attach a note to double the Spice Level. Even without tasting the heat I still enjoyed my fried rice. It was very tasty and HUGE portions! I barely ate half of what I was given. In short, my only disappointment was that it wasn't very spicy (to me). I always enjoy eating 1-2-3 Thai! read more

Absolutely delicious food with good portion sizes. We gobbled up the spring rolls before I thought to take a photo but they were amazing. The pho was seasoned perfectly and made with whatever spice level you request. The pineapple rice was absolutely delicious! We are eating the leftovers for dinner just after eating it for lunch. Highly recommend! read more

They haven't let me done yet. My go to spot for some good rice and pho. I do think they're pricey but everything on the island is.

Been here a few times and food is decent. Portions are generous and service is good. Would come back

It's a good value. Some unique dishes and more of an informal Order to take out. I usually get the pad Thai. Only about 10.00 good size freshly made in a huge Wok done right with love. Good value read more

Best Thai Food in Oak Harbor. Such a wide selection and great quality. My go to dishes are the Pad Thai and the Pad See Iew. I love the takeout setup. Three parking spaces in front of the restaurant and a card reader is setup directly in front so you don't actually enter the restaurant. The food and Takeout Setup is why I keep coming back. read more

I would have to say this is my favorite Thai place on the island. I ordered a Phad Thai with fried Tofu, extra extra extra spicy. I spoke with Sam (the owner) and he assured me it would be spicy. I guess for the average human it would be but I still had to add more spice. The portions are always spot on. I always finish my meal fully satisfied. I think it takes about 3 days for my wife to finish all of hers. If you're looking for some quick Thai food without the hassle, this is the place. Phone orders are even better. I will continue to coax Sam to up the heat!!!! read more

I love 123 thai. This place is hot, fast, and hilarious. For take out 123 is unbeatable, I know I can order food that will be ready in 10 min, and it will somehow still be piping hot when I get home even 20 min later. I love their "we have NEVER charged for rice" signs, posted all over the place. The signs are weird and accusatory but also make me smile. You can come here for odd ball items like bacon, jerky, or insects but also for classic dishes like curry or noodles. read more

I eat here often. My favorite for a few dishes. Only complaint is they are not open every day but I understand the times right now read more

I can only speak on behalf of their chicken Pad Thai. It is sooooo good and full of flavor, always comes with two scoops of rice on the side. They range their spice level from 1-4 but to me it's all the same and not even mildly spicy. You can go higher but even a 5 isn't spicy haha, maybe a 10? Not sure if they go that high. They do give a generous amount of food and it fills me up every time. The price is kinda high at around $11 (as of 3/3/18) but I still come back - Space has a good amount of seating but isn't too large but enough for 2-4 at a table. Staff is friendly and cooks are always working hard since you can see the food being made. Try it out! read more

I'll just I've been a local here for some time now and used to love 123 Thai but over the years it's definitely gone down in quality. First off when I ordered they told me it was going to be 10-15 mins. I got there 15 minutes after placing my order and it wasn't ready yet. The young man said he would bring it my car when it was. I waited another 45 minutes before my food was brought out to me. I told the young man I wasn't upset with him because it wasn't completely his fault but they should definitely give more accurate wait times and not lie to their customers. You can lose a customer for a night for being honest but you can lose a customer for life and get a bad reputation for lying. When I got home, the food wasn't even hot. I ordered the crab Rangoon and Beef Pho. The broth to the Pho was bland, didn't have much flavor and really oily. The noodles were mushy and overcooked along with the beef as well. The crab Rangoon wasn't hot and was soggy on the bottom. I paid $24 for food that ended up going in the trash it was so bad. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The Vietnamese place on Pioneer is way better than 123 Thai. read more

123 food poisoning. Do not eat here. Needs to be evaluated, food looks terrible, tastes worse.

When it comes to local Thai places, this one is probably my favorite. I often find myself craving their Pad Thai, which is spicy, peanut-y goodness. I'm also into their curries. The Massaman is my personal favorite. Anything can be as spicy as you like it, the staff is always friendly, and I've never had to wait longer than ten minutes for my take out. I'm a regular for a reason. read more

I've been here dozens of times, and it used to be a favorite. However, the quality is all over the place now, and I'm always missing the extra rice I pay for. Spicy level 2 on a Friday could mean either no spice or melt-your-face-off spicy. I can't recommend this restaurant any longer. read more

This is a great hole in the wall. Food was spot on. The decor is definitely weird but kind of sweet. I won't deduct a star for having coloring pages from kids on display. It is a mom and pop Asian restaurant If you don't like the look of the place, you can always do take out. I love #18 massaman curry. For noodles I love #36 phat see ew with beef! They never charge for rice and they serve healthy portions. I appreciate the to go boxes are on the counter for customers to take leftovers home. Also I think it is cool they do a monthly raffle for a TV. read more

We have visited 123 Thai multiple times, it has always been a favorite local spot. However the past few trips the spice levels have been disappointing. I always ask for a level 5 for my chicken green curry, and recently there's been hardly any kick to it. I did spend four years living in New Mexico so it's possible my spice tolerance has increased - but today we ordered chicken pad thai level 3 and level 5 and they were exactly the same. We also had spring rolls that tasted stale and maybe even freezer burnt? The food and flavor has always been delicious in the main courses, but I guess next time I'll just have to add extra extra spice. read more

We love 123 Thai! It's always been our go to! Food is always great! Great portions too! Sam and his staff are really nice and friendly! It makes me feel home with the whole Asia feels! My go to location for quick and spicy Thai! You can't go wrong with the Garlic Chicken or Orange Orange Chicken! Spice levels tho Thai spice 15, I usually go with a 12 and it's the right heat for me! Sam and his staff always give us amazing service and terrific food! read more

Unfortunately I have to give a 1 star review. The food tasted good but when you only receive half of the chicken that you were supposed to receive then I can't give a positive review. I ordered three entrees last night through their website. I picked it up and brought it all home. When I opened up my dinner (the Thai Chicken Popcorn) I was disappointed to see that I only had received 7 pieces of chicken. The website clearly states '12 pieces of chicken'. So where did the other 5 pieces of chicken go? I guess this helps to make a higher profit margin when you advertise that a meal will have 12 pieces of chicken and you only provide 7. I live about 15 minutes out of town so it's not practice to go all the way back to get my other 5 pieces. I will just have to chalk this up to a learning experience and not ever go back to this place. My recommendation is if you order your food for take out to make sure that you open it all up before you leave and check to make sure that it's all there. read more

Best Thai Food on the Island! Besides being all around great, the kind and friendly service puts it a notch above all other places.

Okay won't be eating here again price point is on the high side quality on the low dish stated jasmine rice I received plain white vegetables were frozen not fresh. All the natural flavors associated with thai food just isn't there. Not sure what others see in this place but high quantity does not make up for the lack of quality freshness and flavor. read more

I wanted to give this place 5 stars because its 3 and a 1/2 star yelp rating doesn't do it any justice. I ordered the pork pad see ew and Tom kha, spicy level 12 and was extremely satisfied. The pork and noodles were tender and had all the right Thai flavors. I also love that a side of rice is included in every dish. If you read everyone's low reviews of this place it's mainly because of the overall cleanliness, aside from that, you should still check this place out for the food. I mean, Have you seen the McDonald's chain restaurants, you're crazy if you still eat there and not here just because of 'cleanliness'. read more

My wife and I decided to try something different. It was a bad idea. She received what appeared to be prepackaged frozen chicken nuggets on a mountain of fried rice. I ordered Thai stick chicken which looked nothing at all like the picture presented. Both of our "meals", while seemingly edible, where not appetizing at all. My chicken even had a bit of a green tint to it. We had also ordered crab Rangoon which came out looking great but had no crab in it, just cream cheese. The staff were pleasant but the food was over-priced and unappealing. Inside was cluttered and dirty. We will not return. read more

Not sure if they inspect restaurants in Oak Harbor? But for the safety of everyone I hope this place is one that needs inspectors asap! The restaurant looks overcrowded with a lot of outdated decorations that make the place look run down and dirty. I'm sure they've collected a good amount of dust by now. I felt I needed a good shower after eating here! My family all ordered different meals, unfortunately not one of us left satisfied. Our meat was hard and chewy. Cheap low quality meat unfortunately, but prices sure didn't match the food quality. It's expensive for what you get in my opinion. read more

The biggest problem that I have is that it is so INCONSISTENT. I have eaten here about 15 times, a few in the restaurant, but mostly take out. I have had some of the fried rice dishes and green curry, but my 'ol standby is basil noodles with chicken. There are times when it is the bomb and there are times where I wish I had ordered something else. It's a crap shoot on everything from the spices to the level of hotness. Thai tea isn't bad. You pull a cup out of the fridge and get to add your own half and half. It seems that it depends on the phase if the moon or something! Had 1-2-3 Thai again tonight (6/30/14) Basil Noodle with chicken. Noodles were ABSOLUTE mush. Can't believe they even served them. Mushy and they just break into pieces when I try to pick them up. I actually ordered Drunken Noodles from Jeda's Thai Kitchen and thought they had a little more flavor. The portion there is smaller but it's also a little cheaper. read more

Good food, reasonable pricing. Nothing out-of-this-world, but considering the location, it's better than nothing. Go traditional, folks. Pad Thai for $9 includes a reasonable portion plus two scoops of sticky rice. Spice it to a factor of whatever your taste buds demand. Get adventurous from there. Also, label this a takeout place. There's seating for families, groups, or single folk, but the atmosphere is kitchen-like. I don't mind seeing a cook in action, but everything else cluttered all around? Yeah, meh. Detracts from where I want to be (which is lounging on Phi Phi Island eating noodle goodness). read more

We could talk about how amazing the food is all day because it really is phenomenal. We had the walnut shrimp, garlic chicken, short ribs, sausage fried rice add bacon, Thai curry, and crispy chicken. There was 7 of us, LoL. The best thing about this place was the service of Scarlett. I come from the service industry and quite honestly, I don't have high expectations service wise when it comes to small places like this one. Scarlett was so kind and professional. She answered every question with a smile and demeanor as if it was the first time she's been asked our pretty common questions. She was very knowledgeable. Love you girl.
