    Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken

Ordered takeout while staying at The Kulshan hotel. Had sweet and spicy fried chicken and fried chicken bowl. Both were delicious. Def recommend a stop by here if you're in the area.

I was passing through Sedro and this was on the way. I was a little skeptical because it's connected to a gas station but they are completely separate establishments. I wasn't expecting it to be authentic because it's in sedro but it exceeded all my expectations. The service was excellent and the woman who took my order was very kind and helpful. I ordered the half and half bowl with soy garlic fried chicken and It was AMAZING. Their portions are very filling, I scarfed down a third of my bowl and was very satisfied. 10/10 would eat again.

Beef Bulgogi Bap Bowl with broccoli, cabbage salad, caramelized onions, teriyaki, and spicy mayo.

I stopped by Bapster today and was blown away! I got the beef bulgogi bap bowl and a tiger milk tea with boba and both were delicious. The service was excellent. I'm glad Sedro Woolley has this place, I will be eating here again!

Delicious! My spicy pork bowl was so good and so huge! My husband loved his bulgogi wrap. Envious that Sedro has this gem :-)

We ordered 12 wings sweet and extra spicy. First 12 is a lot as the wings are quite large. Second they are well covered with sauce and extra spicy is very spicy. The wings came out hot and crisp. They were excellently cooked and very flavorful. I thought they were also very sweet along with the heat. If you like very spicy they are for you. We did enjoy them, but I could only eat two! We brought them home and I hope they heat up well. I will definitely go back and try the others and I do recommend trying this place out. We didn't try the bowls, they did look really good.

Clean, well lit, simple is best, and direct no frills business. The staff is nice and the patrons are constantly rotating through. We noticed lots of different folks getting to go and some food drivers doing pick up. Even younger kids like the spice and crunch of the chicken. I mostly order the sweet spicy or sweet and extra spicy wings and drumsticks on the bone. The original of course is soy garlic. The sandwich was good but since I'm trying to eliminate high processed foods I ended up removing one bun and eating open faced. This sandwich is best eaten on site and piping hot. I admit I am a French fry snob. These were ok but a little dry for me. I ate a few and then left them. I felt bad for wasting but if I'm going to eat high processed foods they had better be top notch in taste knowing my arthritis is going to impact me later. My kids like tteokboki but know it is on the high end of spiciness. You have been warned. Love this place and will continue to dine in. Enjoy!

Everything tasted the way Korean food should taste. The flavors were balanced and authentic--not overly sweet like so many places tend to do. The kimchi was hands down some of the best I've had in a long time--perfectly ripened with incredible depth of flavor. We ordered the soft tofu soup, rice cake soup, and spicy pork, and every dish was excellent. Comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. On top of the food, the service was wonderful. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Please support this lovely restaurant in Bellingham. It's the kind of place you hope stays around for a long time. Truthfully I ordered entirely too much food for a single person...I couldn't say no based in the description and picture in the menu...I honestly could have ordered everything. I ordered: Shrimp Tempura: appropriately crunchy Beef Bulgogi: Classic taste, exactly what I wanted for dinner Crazy Boy Kimchi: had a good spice but not overwhelming while the vegetables were not chewy-loved it! Deep fried Oreo cookies: I don't usually see this sort of dessert anywhere let alone at a Korean restaurant...had to give this a try...let me say that the cookie softened to the point where it was more like a chocolate goo while the tempura part was not as crispy as I expected. It was worth a try but not my favorite. Overall, YunGaNe has everything anyone wanting Korean cuisine could offer. I stuck with my comfort favorites and was more than satisfied. Everything about the atmosphere was lovely including the service.

We ordered the kimchi pancake, short rib soup with potatoes and glass noodles, and fried beef brisket (spice level 2/4). The kimchi pancake was overly breaded and tasted like it had been fried in reused oil. The short rib soup was the safest dish of the night, but the beef was still chewy rather than tender, the glass noodles were minimal, and the broth was extremely salty with a noticeable MSG-like taste. The fried beef brisket was heavily sauced, overly salty, and far spicier than a mild level should be. The beef itself tasted far from fresh and was very tough to chew. The appetizers were among the most basic I've seen at any Korean restaurant in the Greater Seattle area. Even then, the kimchi lacked depth and tasted unfresh, with sourness that felt more like age than proper fermentation. What made the experience even stranger was when the server asked how everything was. We tried to respond politely, and the server simply said, "I'm with you." Korean food is not rare in this area, and the prices here are on the higher side. With that context, the quality is difficult to justify. To be fair, the space is decent for group gatherings, large space, and the staff were friendly. But food is the most basic standard for a restaurant, and unfortunately it fell far below expectations. I genuinely don't understand how this place has such high ratings.

"Driving through rural neighborhoods of Washington can be daunting without a sense of time, space, and phone service. Thick, limitless evergreen forests occluding the beacon from the highest of cell towers, miles and many rows farmland, and the occasional $6/gallon gas station. The eyes sore quickly at the sight of an infinite road marked with faded paint and tunneled by lush, beautiful greenery, a mirage practically teasing your senses with a taste of something familiar. But if you're lucky, you just might stumble across an oasis. The Poke Oasis, in fact. Your eyes have not deceived you, and you did indeed reach that shimmering pool of life waiting for you in none other than Burlington, WA. If I could go back and relive the moment they asked me "what can I get you?" and prepared the most exhilarating, invigorating, electrifying plate of sustenance that may have ever tickled my tastebuds. I'd sell my left kidney for that... Anyways. For you movie lovers out there, especially you little rascals who can't resist a bite of the forbidden fruit, who walk on the edge of desire and disaster...this bowl has just the thrill you seek. If your will is strong, your stomach stronger, and you like a little danger, you just might make it into the theater with your poke. I, for one, relished my delightful bowl of poke whilst singing along to Hadestown, furiously devouring each bite and unabashedly reciting every bit of dialogue until the angry Karen two rows in front of me gave me the "look." She doesn't get it. But I know you will. Anyone who dares walk through those doors must be prepared to have their life altered, their heart changed, their soul transcended. And if you have made it this far...I, too, dare you to take that leap of faith. But who am I to tell you what to do? I'm just your friendly neighborhood Poke Oasis regular." The bulgogi was flavorful, and balanced with vegetable in addition to meat. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap which was delicious as well.
