We found this place while browsing Google Maps and were honestly surprised to see a Korean fried chicken spot in the area. We ordered the boneless chicken with soy garlic and cheese flavors, along with butter garlic fries on the side. The chicken was freshly made and nicely crispy, with the soy garlic being the clear favorite--flavorful without feeling too heavy. The cheese flavor leaned much richer, mostly coated in cheese powder, which made it a bit overwhelming after a while. The butter garlic fries were decent, though the garlic flavor didn't fully blend into the fries as well as we hoped. Service was genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout. What a wonderful surprise to have a Korean fried chicken restaurant in Burlington. Swan's is the real deal and I've had quite a bit of KFC in many different large cities, including Seattle and Los Angeles. The original is great crispy fried chicken, the sweet and spicy is a classic KFC flavor, the soy garlic is very flavorful, the cheddar cheese is a powder mix but tastes really good, and the galbi is more like a savory soy sauce. I've had both the boneless and the tradition bone in and both are excellent. The tteokbokki is spicy, maybe a bit too spicy, and I would prefer to have a creamy non-spice version but the chewy rice cakes are good. The corn cheese is a great version of cheesy corn and there's so much more cheese that it really should be called cheesy corn. I am Korean and the fried chicken wings are really good! Perfectly fried and crunchy, chicken is moist. Haven't tried all the sauces but so far my favorite is definitely the soy garlic, very good. The tteokbokki is also great, soft and chewy tteoks and very spicy sauce. They give pickled radish on the side which is good to balance out the flavor of the wings, cool and refreshing. I have also tried the corn cheese and it is good as well. The only negative comment I have is that the napkins are not great, especially because when eating fried chicken you have to wipe your hands and mouth a lot. We live in Mukilteo and I will say this chicken was worth the drive. I came during their first day soft opening and the place was already full of customers excited to try out Swan's KFC! The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was clean. They are not a huge restaurant but it can still hold a large party and some small parties. They have plenty of parking which is excellent. We decided to order soy garlic, sweet and spicy, original wings and boneless galbi wings. The wings are fried to order and came out extremely fresh and juicy. My personal favorite was the original wings and my husband loved the soy garlic the most. You can't really fault ANY of the flavors though, they were all quite tasty and deep fried to perfection. The wings were surprisingly not greasy and we loved them so much we ordered a large batch to-go to enjoy at home again the next day Our to-go food experience was just as good. We got the cheddar cheese and original to go. Reheated up the chicken in our air fryer and it was just as juicy as it was the day before. This new place has really good chicken! A number of different seasonings and a few sides. The only bummer is no steamed rice. We had fries and the pickled radish. Plenty of non-alcoholic drink options. And table service if you're dining in! The photos show boneless sweet and spicy with fries and a medium bone-in with sweet and spicy on half and "galbi" on the other half. The crust was light and crispy all the way until we boxed up the leftovers. I have no idea what is happening in the boxes right now, the boxes are waiting for us to open them. Besides the steamed rice, the only other thing I would like is some shake on seasonings for the radish. It was fairly one dimensional and could go many different ways with some sweet or savory seasonings. We'll be back! Was in Burlington for the Ultimate Frisbee Nationals last weekend. We were hungry and looking for a lunch spot. I rattled off some 4.5 and higher rated places and when I mentioned Korean fried chicken, one in the group said that sounded good. Off we went to Swan's. It was located next to a 7-11, but you could see pride of ownership/occupancy on the outside. No garbage overflowing in the back, very clean around the outside, and the building, although older, had fresh appearing paint. The interior ambiance was clean, bright, and simple. The staff and service was friendly and responsive, the menus were two-sided and laminated with clear stylized print with corresponding pictures of the variety of dishes. We ordered at the counter and within 10 to 15 minutes our food was delivered to our table. The food was very good, no surprise at this point. Did I mention the pride and cleanliness? This is an unremarkable looking place driving by, but the devil is in the details. This was a super pleasant experience and for what it is, a Korean fried chicken restaurant, they nail it.
