Unfortunately the pizza was delivered cold and soggy at 7:30pm. Not hot or crispy. Really bummed out, will probably stick to Pizza Factory from here on out. They are consistent and good . The staff is super friendly, they have worked out the new business bugs, they have their own delivery guy, which I love. They have beer and wine, it is family friendly, it is clean and it has a ton of hard surfaces, I would add some soft things, to get rid of the echo, other than that, come down and get a pie... Mountain Mike's is a solid pizza joint from California with up to 4 sizes depending on the pie. We ordered the pepperoni, the McKinley, the Pineapple Chicken Luau and churrs for dessert. Pepperoni was perfectly crispy sitting on top on melted cheese and red sauce. They use the tiny ones that holds little cups of oil! The McKinley is a supreme that goes hard with the toppings. They don't skimp! My personal favorite from this order is the Pineapple Chicken Luau because I'm already a fan of Hawaiian pizza but this is done with a twist. It's sweet and salty with crispy edges and no ham! The churrs with creme fraise shouldn't be shared. It's seriously that good. Trust me. read more

Our experience this evening at Mountain Mikes was really good. The staff were really nice a patient with us while we figured out what to order from their large menu. The building as clean and neat. I liked that they had plenty of TV's for watching a game. The food was great. We ended up getting a large pizza that we got with two different styles, which was nice to do. I also got a salad bar salad, garlic knots, and their cookie pizza, all of which was great, with fresh ingredients that really made a difference to me. I also like that they had a great draft beer selection. They had a really nice cold hazy IPA that I enjoyed. I'm not someone who goes out to pizza very often, and I like to eat healthy, but once in a while I like a high quality good pizza that has lots of options, and Mountain Mikes delivered on that nicely. Talk about taking me back to growing up in the Bay Area. I grew up on Mountain Mike's Pizza and when I saw one in MV I was really excited but cautious as well. We've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. We could have waited longer. It was certainly nothing to write home about. I ordered a bacon and pineapple pizza. They were really stingy with the toppings, and I ordered extra pineapple. If my pizza had extra pineapple on it, I would hate to see one with the regular amount on it. I rather suspect that they really didn't add the extra pineapple. Either way, I was disappointed with the pizza and won't be ordering from this place again. read more

The food is AMAZING!! The first time I went there with two younger kids I was babysitting, it took 37 minutes to get a small cheese pizza. But I really liked the restaurant vibe there, but it didn't really feel like anyone cared we were there. Feels like it's run by a bunch of teenagers who just don't care. While waiting for our food I saw them all playing on there phones and I saw the pizza in the window for a good 10 minutes before the lady at the counter put her phone down to bring it out. I grew in Northern California and we had Mountain Mikes in the 80's. This pizza is still the same!. The service here was a bit wacky but they're brand new and trying to get their feet under them. They have a salad bar, the pizza's very good and there's a small game rooms for kids (takes $ though). Bonus points for good desserts. read more

I worked in the pizza business while in college many many years ago and pizza is my favorite food. Mountain Mikes has promise but falls short on crust that is pre fabricated and toppings. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage and it averaged two pepperonis per slice and less sausage. The crust was no more than a high end frozen pizza. Went to this brand new place in Mount Vernon and we thought hey a new pizza place in town that's great let's go check it out. When we walked through the door there were about 2 party's in there already with their food... we went up and ordered our food (medium pizza and 6 wings) and sat down at our seats awaiting, after we ordered our food there were 3 other parties that walked in after us and as we sat there waiting... one by one, each of those 3 people received their food before we could even get a bite. After waiting about 40 min for our order we were approached with a double order of wings with no chicken just pure fat and gross, if you like wings as I'm sure a lot do, last thing you want to bite into is nothing but pure fat, as they gave us the wings they informed us that our pizza was made wrong and that they would increase the size of it for free and would be another 10 min at the most.. after waiting for about 20 min with STILL no pizza we thought we would just ask for them to put the pizza (that they mentioned was on its way) in a box so we could just get out of there being that it was already passed 9 pm and we were with our 11 month old that was passed her bed time, a employee than proceeded to bring us an EMPTY box after she thought we had already received our whole order... We were already tired of being there and hungry and kindly asked for a refund. This place has a lot of potential and COULD have the potential to be a great pizza place in this town and that is very needed but if they just took the time to pay attention to their customers instead of taking our order and than taking the order after ours and bringing that party their food FIRST all because the employee was (from what it looked like based on the close touching) partners with one of those folks in that party after us. Food is great - service sucks!! Ordered delivery at 6PM. By 7:15PM no delivery. Phoned and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Finally spoke with someone and she stated they are waiting on delivery driver. I order delivery as my husband is handicapped and it is sometimes easier to have food delivered than to try and get him ready and go somewhere. I then asked if there was a manager there, she said yes. I asked if I could come get my order and get a full refund, she said yes. So, I went down to get my refund and she asked me if I still wanted the order. I said yes, of course. I then asked why the manager doesn't at least check on orders, send out texts, emails, call the customers, etc. if there is a problem. She stated, the manager is very busy (REALLY??? there were 4 people in the place - 2 eating and 2 waiting on their order to be made). So, I got my refund and my ordered and as soon as I got into my vehicle, my phone "dings" me with a text from Mountain Mike's stating my order is being delivered but I did not put any additional instructions in when I ordered. What additional instructions would there be? Just deliver, ring my doorbell and be done!! Horrible, horrible service. I will NEVER order from them again. read more
