Ate here in the midst of the Covid 19 stay at home I had get out of house after 3 weeks. Took a long drive and discovered this off Yelp, Enjoyed the Baconmaster, onion rings along with Rootbeer shake. Very juicy and and crisp. The waitress who took our order was a little pregnant, but she was moving like a track star. Every bit worth venturing out to discover this location. read more

Great high quality food! My 2 year old is very picky and this is basically the only burger she will eat! It is our quick simple go to when time is crunched or we don't feel like dealing with table service. Does not make you feel like crud the following day after indulging either. Very happy the beef is grass fed! All around good. Friendly employees too. read more

Fast and tasty with super friendly staff. Convenient stop off I-5. Definitely would eat here again.

Excellent mushroom burger, fries, and mocha shake! Service was impeccable, friendly, and great with substitutions. The mocha shake is sooo good! The burger was delicious with grilled mushroom and onion, melty cheese, and toasted bun. Next time I will go for a classic burger too! read more

The food is delicious! Not even comparable to other "fast" food options. The fish sandwich, crab melt and coleslaw are bomb! All burgers are tasty! Donna is awesome but honestly everyone is nice and seems like they enjoy their jobs. read more

Excellent service and great food! A great combo! To be able to customize your burger is what makes me really happy. Also the atmosphere of enjoying your meal at a Drive in with awesome music playing makes this very special. read more

Stopped here on the way back from Baker Mountain. It was around 19:30 . Was going to order the fish, they already shut the fryer down. I got the mushroom burger. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back at a earlier time to try the fish. read more

Again visiting my favorite drive in restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds, bathrooms are clean. Beautiful flowers around outside seating and curbs. Probably one of the nicest BurgerMasters left. Meals are great but prices have gone up a bit but still worth eating at. My favorite Fish and chips and a Root beer shake. read more

Great Service and phenomenal food! Our milkshakes were so yummy and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Glad we stopped!

Very disappointed with both the service and the food. The server was nice but barley served. He took our order ran my card and the ten minutes later someone else brought out food. I had to ask for my receipt so I could tip ((I tip even if service is t great). We took the food home and we were both disappointed. The mushroom burger was small and thrown together. The crab and Swiss burger, was minus the Swiss and was just a paste of the crab sauce. No real crab to speak of mostly just toasted bread. For 13.00 that is incredibly disappointing. Probably the last time we will spend our hard earned money at their establishment, the value is not worth the money. The sad part is that we have had better experiences in the past but not willing to keep waisting Money there read more

I was extremely impressed. We have been here twice and received good customer service and fresh hot food.

I meant to do this sooner. I reviewed Burgermaster when it first opened but was offered another chance to try their food and found it to be very good. I like the old fashioned drive in feel and the food is good. I reccomend this place. read more

Burgermaster used to be a great treat. Went today, waited for 5 minutes to get waited on even though the car hop had just delivered food to the vehicle next to me. Watched her walk back inside and just stand there. Finally another car hop came out took my order to go. Ordered a Burgermelt specifically because it comes with just mustard and ketchup. Left when my order arrived and got on the freeway. Opened the burger and it had pickles and the biggest slice of onion I have ever seen. Made the burger inedible. It was also cold. I won't be back read more

Nice little stop. But sometimes the food is bad, sometimes it is GREAT. Like this one time we pulled up in my dad's truck and got some GOOD burgers. And this other time we got pretty bad food. But otherwise it's a nice stop. Thumbs up. read more

This place is amazing! The burgers are awesome! And the fries the best! I had the cheeseburger. It was a great size for the price. Juicy and flavorful! My kids wanted bacon on their cheeseburgers. So we ordered the mini burgers. But our attendant was so helpful and still gave them kids meals with the mini burger meals. They customer service was on point! I will definitely be back. read more

Fantastic burgers (grass-fed beef, fresh lettuce and tomato, real cheddar cheese, great bacon). Generous burgers and fries all served to you in your car! read more

My dad and I are big burger fanatics, and are always on the run for new burger joints. We looked at the menu here and they have some crazy sandwiches! Something very unique and new to Bellingham. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the burger I ate, but I ordered the classic cheese burger with fries and soda. I have yet to have tried the milkshakes there but I'm sure they're great. As for the burger and fries, they were top notch. The burger has some really tasty sauce on it, and the patty was super moist and melted in your mouth. The fries were awesome, had it's own distinct taste tok them hard to describe them. The atmosphere inside is pretty casual, the amount of seating available was ample. The staff was very friendly upon entering, and were very accommodating. All in all the food is delicious, and the welcoming atmosphere and staff will definitely earn them another trip here! read more

Burgermaster - Burgers Near Me - Mount Vernon, Washington

It's a sad day. My home care client and I love the food at Burgermaster in Mt Vernon. It has been our favorite lunch spot for 2 years. But we will not being going there anymore because all the wait staff is using the low plastic shields for face covering. I'm sorry, I am a nurse and I can tell you that that is not a safe face covering!. There is no nose coverage and it only covers half the mouth. I watched the spittle flying out of our wait person's mouth with much of it flying over the shield. I don't know with whom and where she socializes. So I'm not taking the chance. Burgermaster needs to enforce full nose and mouth coverings or I'm not going back and I am warning my friends. read more

Just left. Server wearing a thin mesh mask that you could literally see through. No thanks. Especially since they very recently closed due to a covid outbreak. You would think they would require real masks for employees. read more

Run of the mill drive in place. Pros? Huge amount of parking Fries were fresh and not over salted Burger had lotsa sauce and toppings Free sauces Friendly staff Cons? Didn't blow the mind Service a bit slow Milkshake was a bit frosty read more

Great burgers, friendly people, and a nice clean facility. Some reviewers complain that the burgers here are more expensive than some other fast food burgers (i.e. McDs), but there is really no comparison. These burgers are made with local beef, are well seasoned and tasty and come with fresh tomatoes and other condiments. We've eaten here a couple of times and the burgers have always been perfectly cooked. Nice help, both car hop and take out window. There are six stools at a counter around the take out counter if you want to get out of the car for a moment. And I feel the need to mention the restrooms...they are perhaps the nicest I've ever encountered in a fast food place. Immaculately clean and in perfect repair. Great place convenient to the highway. Oh yeah, and the fries are great too! read more

The best burgers around. Don't waste your time anywhere else! Combo #1 is the way to go, and I always request an extra toasted bun. Great job, Burgermaster! read more

Drove by here many times and we decided to stop the other day. Exceptional staff!! Really friendly and fast service. Burgers were really good and the fries are awesome!! Next time I will definitely try their hand churned shakes. Definitely worth the money. read more

We stopped there on the way home from a weekend trip, and we were underwhelmed. We liked the idea of an old-style drive in with car hops, but the food was mediocre, and that's being generous. I had the Bacon cheeseburger, and it was just alright. My wife had chicken strips, and while the menu advertised hand cut and breaded strips, they were just pre-formed frozen strips, as if they had run across the street to Wal Mart and picked up a bag of cut rate strips. The fries were blah. Maybe they picked up some fries when they got the strips! My girl got a hot dog, and it passed muster, but it's a hot dog. It would be pretty hard to mess that up. I did get a chocolate milk shake, and I would say that it was pretty good. But other than that it was a Not Going Back experience. For a little bit less money, one could go across the freeway to the newly opened Carl's Jr and get a much better meal. read more

It was super good. We split a burger with bacon. Grass fed is pretty cool. Not sure if ketchup is high fructose corn syrup free we being a our own. Fries were yummy read more

I just moved to Washington and I kept seeing this place while I drove passed it on the freeway. I'd probably do more of a 3.5 than a 4 if I could. The meat was tasty and I dig that it's local grass fed. The staff was very pleasant and they brought treats out for both of my dogs. I do think it's rather expensive for what you get though. Local grass-fed is going to be more costly but I know of others that do the same that have better prices. Location etc plays into that I'm sure. read more

I was at Burgermaster at 630 pm on December 1st. Driveway was blocked off to cars entering with tape and no notice of why they were closed. I drove into Mt Vernon specifically to have dinner at Burgermaster. Yelp and Burgermaster own website said they were open. read more

Food was fantastic as always. But a guy named Bama worked extra hard while they were busy to pull my to go order together. Thank you!

ONLY order the pumpkin spice shake is you like a little pumpkin with your spice. Wowza! This thing was so spicy could only take one drink before tossing it. read more

We live in Bellingham but have stopped at Burgermaster in Mount Vernon about 10 times now and the whole family loves it. We don't dine out much in general but this has become a family favorite. Our experiences have been mostly positive with respect to food, staff, price and the overall experience. I see some people have complained about pricing; I am pretty price conscious (some might call me cheap), yet I've always left Burgermaster feeling like I got my money's worth. A few other points: The milkshakes are fantastic and I believe they have been upgrading to more environmentally friendly products such as compost-able cutlery and cups (they were Styrofoam in the past). We appreciate this aspect. One downside is that they used to make a tasty wrap which has been discontinued. We would like to see the wrap offered again. read more

Disappointed! I had high hopes for this place but it was a horrible, horrible fail. Burgers where nothing special, and frys where barf not frys? After we got our food, no one ever came back. I had to walk in side to get our bill and find someone to help us, the gal gave me my bill of 65$ !!! 65$ for what?! 3 burgers, 2 frys, and 2 sodas?! Holy cow! Now if these burgers and frys where out of this world, and at least half way good no problem. But they where not. I would actually rate this place below McD's. read more

What a great place and so reasonable for a great meal. Robert was our server, couldn't have been nicer. Wow just Wow!

Came back again no refills on your 15$ fast food combos. Not sure why a 15-20$ "fast food " combo can't offer free refills when you dine in. Is it because you have to walk it out to the customers I'm sorry you get tips. I won't be back after I found out they don't refill you drinks read more

These folks wrote the book on great customer service. We stop there often and have never received anything but top-notch service! Of course, the food is very good and reasonably priced. It's obvious the owners hire the best! read more

The best burger around in my opinion. Gluten free bun for 1.50 more. I had to ask if it was the wrong order because the bun looked so good. It tastes just like a bun from the old days before gf! Love the local beef. The burgermaster hamburger has onions, tomato, pickle, relish, just like the hamburger is meant to be. Thank you for taking pride in your food!!! read more

Nice service, easy access, tough-ass low flavor burger. Onion rings were crispy and had real onions. I'll be back for the shakes.

Great place. Good food. Terrific staff. A little on the spendy side (if you are expecting fast food prices), but I will gladly pay more for good quality. We come here when in the Mount Vernon area, I think mom and dad would enjoy taking the roadster down here too. read more

The first time I tried Burgermaster it wasn't anything great and I reviewed it as such. Maybe they were just having an "off" day. But this business has wonderful management and great communication and I agreed to give it another try. Our second visit was a LOT better. The food was great and the service was friendly and prompt. I'm glad I gave it another chance. I'm really impressed that the owners/management team care about their customers and also provide clean grass fed beef and clean food overall. Great place. Great food. read more

So good. Tons of options and they have no problem with custom orders. Local beef without antibiotics/hormones=major plus. Excellent customer service from my experience. read more

So, I realize its called Burgermaster, not Fishmaster, however...I ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. For the 10 dollars it cost me, I was not impressed. If one put both pieces of fish together, you would still not have one piece of fish. The tarter sauce was good, I think, but the fries were straight out of the shoestring potato bag. Lots of em tho. Overall, I think if I want a good fish dinner, I will go to the supermarket on the hill. read more
