Damn, that was a really good burger. Not much else to say, good atmosphere, cheap prices, solid service. I'll come back for sure.

Food was pretty good. Ticket times were extremely long. People who arrived after us had their food and finished before we got ours so not sure what happened, as they weren't real busy in the middle of the afternoon. She said they were backed up in the kitchen but one of the cooks helped deliver the food at the table next to us. Our waitress tested our temperament to see if she could get away with a free dessert, which I had no interest in. Fortunately, they did the right thing and did not charge us for our burgers. The manager never did come by to say anything, which they should have, but whatever. Based on other reviews, it doesn't appear in the only one who thinks they need to step it up a bit. We both had build your own burgers. I had onion rings and they.were okay. I'd go with fries next time. Hopefully, they figure it out. Place seems clean and atmosphere is good. I would try it again since they did the right thing with our check. Otherwise, I wouldn't. read more

So I'm the yelper of the family and I've been assigned this task. My hubs is not a complainer. He won't send food back and will tolerate most anything. He'd rather sit an hour with an empty cup than to simply ask for a refill. Today he calls me after he and his coworkers go to lunch. Wow he's upset. He got a burger cross between a cheesesteak and something else. The cheese was rubbery, meat flavorless. He said he's never been to a place where he felt the food was INEDIBLE until today. Thank heavens his company paid or I'd have been one hot mamma! He did say the service was 'okay but not good' service, so there is that one star that's not truly deserved. read more

It's cool, not ground breaking. A small bar looks inviting, and the food is above average. I like the service, but with the creative burgers that exist in Arizona.....I think they need to reinvent and make their burgers exciting. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to deviate from my usual Smashburger to try Burger Theory and boy was I thoroughly disappointed. I walked in at 7:15 p.m. for a to-go order 2 sandwiches onion rings and fries took almost 30 minutes. Plus $32 for a burger a fish sandwich 6 onion rings and Fries is it ridiculous. And the fact you charge a dollar more for onion rings and I only got 6. For real you guys need to fix your business model the only way you are surviving is because you are next to the Holiday Inn. I will never return nor will I recommend Burger Theory to anyone read more

I'm baffled so many people have rated this place "just ok"! My boyfriend and I, both chefs, have eaten many many burgers over the years and this place is TOP NOTCH. I had the BT Boss burger and I almost died of happiness. It was incredibly juicy without being so juicy it falls apart. The flavors were mesmerizing, and the filling inside the stuffed patty was perfection. I could eat one of these every single day for the next 10 years, and the heart failure I would eventually succumb to would be completely worth it. read more

Terrible service. Only 6 people in the place. All of them already served. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. A menu was thrown at me. The bartender walked past me 10 more times. Did dishes. And bs'd with the other customers. Never looked at me once for 10 more minutes. When I walked out, he said, "you were looking at the menu" as his excuse for not waiting on me. Hopefully it's just this one bartender that's bad here and not the entire staff. I've been wanting to try this place so when my brother came from out of town and needed a place close to the freeway and the airport I decided to try it. Was a little hesitant because I usually don't go to a new place if it has less than four stars. I had a turkey burger with french fries which was absolutely delicious. They have a nice selection of craft beers and the prices are very reasonable. We had a very attentive server and it has a very nice and clean, modern environment and will definitely eat here again. read more

This location/area is not really trendy, cool and hip enough to command this kind of pricing, it's not like we're at Biltmore or Fashion Square. Probably my least favorite choice for a burger in the Phoenix area. The patio was dirty, even by a hipster's standard, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Prices were incredibly high for what you got and fries were sold separately, served cold at that and under seasoned. Craft beer options are mostly unavailable. I won't be back. read more

If you don't have Legend as your server than you are missing out. He is an incredible example of what customer service can be. Even though it's attached to a hotel, it has wonderful food and even better service. If I could take this place with me, I would! PS management- this guy deserves a raise ASAP. Over priced -$70.00 for 4 burgers and cold fries are one thing but top it of with a lack of service when they weren't even busy makes this restaurant a total fail! Our waitress never checked on us once during our meal or offered refills on our drinks! Clearly they don't care for return customers as we have no intention of returning. Fun, eclectic place in the heart of Phoenix. Burgers were excellent as was service. We enjoyed sitting outside while having our meal.

I had a very pleasant experience at this place, waiter was super nice and on point, the burger is a la carte so it was a 16.00 burger, not sure if this is good or bad but it is what it is. we order nachos and wings and the nachos were great and a lot, the wings was a little to salty for my taste couldn't enjoy it, if I was a food finiki person I would have sent them back on the first bite, that is how salty their were. Bathrooms are very clean and very contemporary decor love it. the outside patio felt good and tv screens are very nice. I would go back to this restaurant and even plan a birthday dinner or anniversary gathering in the future. read more

This place just opened up down the street from me. I've had decent experienced at other locations, so I thought I'd give it a shot. While the servers attentiveness and response times were excellent, the food was a completely different story. I feel that if I'm spending $40 for a burger, coke, and appetizer it should be a step or two above a run of the mill fast-food joint. The meat was so greasy and tasteless. Both top and bottom buns was heavily saturated in grease that you couldn't enjoy any of the "craft" condiments and toppings. I know a melt in your mouth burger when I taste it, but never a melt on the plate because of the excessive great. There was a lot to be desired with this one. Felt like it was a frozen, season-less slop of grease. On a positive note,the onion rings were pretty great. read more

I will admit that this place is a little on the expensive side but I absolutely love the burgers there. Quite greasy but definitely still my favorite burger place and one of my favorite overall restaurants. Staff is always very nice and burgers always delicious!
