Hired Bulwark for a one time carpenter ant treatment. No issues so far with the actual treatment and technician but their billing and customer service is not great. The technician was very professional and did a thorough inspection, sprayed inside and outside and added bait inside the walls. Before he started the treatment, I did note that it looked like the paperwork that was sent to me was for recurring service and not a one time treatment as I initially requested and confirmed on the phone during scheduling. I did not sign this paperwork and we discussed what to do. The technician called his dispatch and confirmed one time treatment and I also called seperately and confirmed one time treatment. They also charged me the higher rate for one time treatment. The technician confided in me that the dispatchers are not local and that this happens frequently. One week later, I am getting emails and texts telling me about my recurring service with Bulwark. Called again today and had to speak to another supervisor who claimed that *now* it is switched to one time service but I am concerned I will be automatically billed again. A lot of hassle for something I requested at the beginning and was assured was setup correctly. read more

Having moved into a newly constructed home that backs up to a greenbelt, I have been meaning to call a pest control company to start service. But being a procrastinator I had not made the call yet. We scheduled for the next day and he said Caleb would be our technician/ The next day Caleb was at our house on time, took his shoes off before entering, allowed our puppy to sniff him (& even petted her) before I ushered her to her kennel so he could treat the inside. They also did not send a list of prep items I need to do before their visit.
