Excellent food and service. The rohan duck, the striped bass, and the hamachi crudo were all amazing. Churros for dessert: best churros I've had. read more

Food I'm sure is great doesn't cater to vegetarians, thanks but not coming back :(. My party also had entrees come out could as well. The service wasn't bad, very attentive and helpful but over all not the greatest. I got sick the next morning, cross contamination for sure. I realize this isn't a restaurant for vegetarians, but I was just going to dinner with my family they wanted to eat here. Regardless of the focus of a kitchen most places accommodate for veg or vegan people. This place does not, the waitress we had convinced me they had the ability to accommodate, I got some burnt Brussel sprouts and cold corn for dinner because she forgot to ask the chef to accommodate (gave me some fake excuse, she said the chef was unwilling to accommodate), like a big middle finger on top of already being disappointed about not being able to really order anything. read more

Wow, what an amazing restaurant. Bulevar checks off all the boxes, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service. The scallops and bacon was absolutely amazing one of the best dishes I have ever had, nutty guacamole and salsa tasting so tasty. La Sirena also one of the best cocktails and the frozen mezcal was exquisite. Our server Itzuri was amazing, every staff member was very friendly, thank you for the epic experience! read more

Bulevar is like ATX Cocina's young, pretty suburban sister. It's very inviting, from the dim lighting to the decor, it's organised, and there is a beautiful patio space to watch the sun go down. As expected, fantastic tequila list, nice selection of small and large plates, attentive waiters/waitresses who thoughtfully describe dishes when placed down. House marg was solid altho ATX still does it better (sorry). Crab guac was refreshing but v salty especially when paired with their house tortilla chips. Hamachi, elote, don frijole, all tasty. Plantain in the crab tostada was thick, cold and dry- would be a lot better if it were thinner and crispier. Duck was phenomenal - never had mole amarillo before- total stand out. Will be back to try more of the larger plates before winter sneaks up on us read more

INCREDIBLE OMGGGGG I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS SPOT ENOUGH. Soooooo freaking good! Literally everything we had. Chefs kiss. I already want to go back. Can be pricey but my gosh it's so worth it. The Don Frijole was amazing. read more

We came here for Valentines Day, and I must say outrageous restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We sat in the enclosed patio, it was nice and warm and the view is incredible. We were there just in time to see the sunset, perfect for Valentines Day. We started with the salsa sampler which was okay. One had a nice smokiness, but lacked flavor. One had avocado and tomatillo, but again seemed light on flavor, and then then menu said they had an árbol salsa, but we were given Serrano, this was the best one but was again very light on flavor. The crab tostadas came next and they were delicious, light, slight citrus, creamy avocado, and a ton of crab meat that had a wonderful flavor. For our entree we split the kanpachi for two and it was outrageous!! The wood grilled flavor was fantastic, and the sauces made it even better. I want to eat this dish every meal of every day. It was served with blue corn tortillas that were definitely made from scratch, even now I am thinking about how excellent this dish was. We had the churros for dessert and they were a nice touch that wasn't too heavy after such a substantial meal, any the dulce de leche was perfect. I am definitely coming back to try some other items on this menu! Service was good. Food came out fast and at the right temperature. read more

Bulevar Mexican Kitchen - Mexican Near Me - Austin, Texas

I looking for a place I can go once or twice a week. This restaurant is to upscale for me. I liked the Z tejas restaurant, so I looking for a more relaxed atmosphere where I can get out for less than 100.00 dollars. read more

Very impressed by the food here. Everything we ate was superb! Vibes were nice as well

Great renovations done to this building. The inside is beautiful but a little loud. The branzino fish is a must try. The steak was good but pricey. read more

A note to management from first timers: Stacy, Miguel, and Rich are AMAZING baristas. Such a great experience overall from beginning to end. They were very attentive and patient when we asked a million questions and were very knowledgeable about items in the menu. Food is a little pricey BUT quality makes it worth it. Everyone was so kind and genuine. Great atmosphere and conversations! We will definitely be back! A million times thank you! - Y & M read more

Great food, great ambiance. Very pretty interior. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu and provided good service. We wanted to order one of the steaks but they do take roughly 30-1 hour to make depending the size, something to keep in mind for next time. read more

Great experience sitting at the bar. Food was great with the highlight being the hamachi.

Great ambiance and even better food. Took awhile to come out but worth it imo. The salsa/ bean sampler is definitely recommended as an app. Order the tomahawk. You wont be disappointed. read more

AMAZING food. The steaks were really great - I recommend the ribeye. However, our group had a 7:30pm reservation and we didn't get seated until 8pm so expect a wait. read more

I just had a Mother's Day lunch there. I thought the food taste was fair and expensive. The bbq shrimp was not good. The idea to pay $10 for a side dish of a little rice and some beans on top is not right. $10 for chips also is wrong. The place is loud and the atmosphere is nothing special. I don't get why this place is so highly rated. Will not go back. Valet parking was good. read more

First time meeting a friend for happy hour and dinner. The doors were locked when we arrived at a little before 4 PM, but there were people already sitting inside waiting for their table. The doors opened a little after 4 PM and I asked the male host at the front why we were not allowed inside like the people sitting on the bench inside, he said very bluntly "those are VIP's..!" We thought that was a bit rude and snotty, so my first impression of the restaurant was not a positive one. The food was a bit overpriced, but the drinks were great..! read more

Completely Bummed. Waited well over an hour between Apps and Entrees. Manager came out and apologized and said he would "take care of us with something "special"" Dinner tasted amazing - No denying that. Ordered dessert, Closed out the check, waited another 20 min and just walked out with out dessert...#GetItTogether I guess I missed the "Something Special" Part read more

The absolute BEST restaurant in this whole city! The filet was to die for and the service was impeccable! Chocolate cake with raspberry sauce was plated beautifully and just perfect. The only complaint is that it was too dark. I really want to see my beautiful food. Can not wait to go back! read more

Would be perfect if we could bring our pup to the patio! Great food & drinks, including mocktails! Love the small plates

Great Restarant Starts with very nice landscaping of the front of the building First time tried a few appetizers and decided to comeback for more Second visit we had other appetizers one better then the other the lamb cheek stood out. One of the managers ,Chad , gave us a whole presentation on their steaks, he was quite an expert We had the grilled chicken dish which was outstanding as well great service Going back for the steak which my friend the steak connossoir Loved read more

I would like to let you know our experience last night at your restaurant. We had a reservation for 6ppm at 7pm and the waiter started off amazing telling us we should order our food and it will all come out at a great flow. We got our drinks and the guacamole and then THAT WAS IT!! We didn't see our food again for a very long time, then my husband waited even longer for his 2nd drink. The food finally came by the manager but it must have been well over 30 /40 minutes and that was it. I feel like maybe they could have taken care of an appetizer or something after waiting that long! It was a very expensive meal with not matching service. I'm sad bc I brought my whole family in to celebrate my sister in laws 40th. read more

Went to a private event . Loved the drinks . Vegetarian food was very mediocre. Great for meat eaters , service and ambiance

Service was great! Food was delicious! Restaurant is beautiful! 20 of us and everything was perfect!

Loved the lump crab guacamole and excellent wine list!! Great for date night up north!!

The staff was super nice and very accommodating! It was a special occasion or us and we were running late, but everyone made us feel very welcomed. The food was delicious and comes out as it's ready. The restaurant is beautiful. I can't wait to come back and sit on the patio during a sunset! Thank you Larry and Kevin for making this night extra special! The only downside was there is no kids menu, but my kiddo (age 3) devoured the chicken and a pineapple juice from the bar read more

This restaurant has amazing dishes with authentic flavors. I loved every dish and our server Gregory was awesome and super knowledgeable about every dish that was prepared. Highly recommend! read more

Wait person was delightful, but the order messed up twice though not at all a problem for us, easily remedied. i enjoyed short ribs, Shishito peppers and roasted corn but found the peppers and corn slightly too salty. My husband, typically not at all picky, found the carne asada lacking, rather dry. He liked the lemon bar, I did not--very sugary. What did blow us away was the bill. We each had one martini and the bill was $211 (plus 20% tip of course). Comparing to Eddie V's or Flemings or Perry's and some other places, we found this pretty pricy for what we got. read more

Amazing food. My only complaint is it takes a while to come out from the kitchen. The flavors however, are BOMB

Made a reservation for 5:15pm to enjoy HH menu until 6:00pm. We were seated and ordered from the HH menu to then be told that HH was only served if we were seated at the bar. Then why was the HH menu at our table? No apology. So then we ordered a couple apps from the HH menu (to pay full price) to then be told that some of the food items were only available at the bar! Really? So I paid $17 for a house margarita versus $10 on HH. Remove the HH menus from the tables. read more

My review for Bulevar restaurant which is overly priced for its lacks in good food service and its lacking in quality over all. We went for my friend's birthday dinner celebration and left very unhappy. The waitress was fine however the food service as mentioned was horrible. Half of the table waited for over an hour for food. While others in the party got their food within 15 to 20 minutes of ordering. This inconsistency in food delivery made the birthday celebration feel very disjointed. We ended up being at the restaurant for about 3 and half hours which was quite too long for what should have been a nice dinner celebration before a night out of further celebrating. Definitely would not recommend for any special events unfortunately. read more

everything was so good! our server was knowledgeable of everything and recommended the dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. there is a complimentary valet parking available! read more

The food had good flavor and our waiter was great. My only complaint is that for the price you get very little food. The servings are extremely tiny and extremely expensive. I would not go back. read more

We are in from out of state to plan our daughter's wedding here in Austin. Bulevar happened to be very near our hotel (Renaissance Marriott). Got to Bulevar around 5:15 pm on Wednesday evening after we checked in and unpacked. Not a whole lot of people which can worry you about the restaurant, but we chalked it up to the early time. Sat at bar. Very friendly and kind Andy greeted us with a Happy Hour menu, which he said was going until 6:00 pm, and a regular menu. So we quickly ordered the Happy Hour (HH) Margarita on the menu for $10. Very good! And shockingly, you could actually taste the tequila! And no sweet & sour mix overpowering the margarita either! Andy was a great conversationalist but not in your face. Really nice guy. Very attentive. We were starving because we had been flying all day so ordered the HH pork belly & flank steak tacos (1 pp) for $10. Tacos de Trompo. Very good but quite small, maybe 2 1/2 bites in size. Yet they were filled with a decent amount of meat. Then we ordered the HH Herby Guacamole for $10 which was a very good amount. Tasty and chunky. But it definitely needs some seasoning. We aren't big salt users but once we added that, the guacamole was awesome. Then we split the Crab Tostada for $24 off the regular menu. Wow! So so good and flavorful. The lump crab was plentiful (we thought for sure they would barely use any). The sauce on the plate, which they don't describe in the menu so we have no idea what it was, was delicious. We would break a piece of the tostada off, swirl it in the sauce (they barely put any of this sauce on the plate which is a shame because it makes the dish) and then add a little guacamole on top. DELISH! Best part of the meal. We also split the shrimp for $32. Good sized shrimp and nicely presented. Also tasty. But the chef doesn't peel them. So too much work and too messy for $32. If chef peeled them, I would recommend. Would definitely come back. read more

I went in for my sons bday dinner and the place seemed nice when arrived. we had an appetizer and waited for our dinner which was quite a while wait. Well our food arrived finally. the food arrived with a hair though which was pretty gross for such an expensive place. we told the waitress so she took the side away w out even apologizing. She returned and apologized and said "don't worry we will be removing it from your bill". Well I would hope so because I wasn't about to eat a hairy side or much less pay for it! lol!! then the manager came over to reassure us that we wouldn't be charged for their mistake. Again I wasn't about pay for it. I am beside myself how such an expensive restaurant takes care of their customers first (bad and disgusting) experience! I am disappointed at their service and I wouldn't ever go again much less refer anyone there! read more

Beautiful plates! Super tasty and gorgeous dining room. Helpful and attentive staff. Will definitely be dining here again

Bulevar is a great addition to the north Austin community! We love ATX Cocina, and are so excited to have their sister restaurant a little closer to us. We love everything we've ever tried there! Especially the crab tostada! Highly recommend! Service, atmosphere, food- everything is great! read more

Bulevar feels straight out of polanco in Mexico City. This ultra high end authentic Mexican food is flavorful, delicious, and filling. The cocktails were all 10 out of ten. The wine list had lots of good choices. I would highly recommend this place. Our server Gregory went above and beyond for use. One of our group spilled and he even brought shout over to clear the spill. We appreciate you Gregory!! read more

My husband and I went for a last minute late date night. We found a seat at the bar and were immediately greeted. Our server was over the top knowledgeable of the menu and what to recommend and his suggestions were perfect. Great vibe, really great food so not sure why some are saying average Mexican food because there's nothing average about their dishes and you can tell a lot of thought went into them and their presentation is beautiful. Drinks were extremely tasty and yes, they need a lower priced option for a few standards, but then again, everything costs more these days and the servers are worth it. They aren't looking for a chips and beer crowd and for this we were appreciative. We'll definitely return many more times and sharing here and with others that this is a place worth checking out. read more

Hands down, the best restaurant in Austin. Had an exceptional experience. What did it for me, besides the food, is that the kitchen manager was out there calling out where food wasn't up to standard. On top of their game. Service was absolutely incredible. Back to food.... The short ribs were cooked to perfection, papas were layered in taste, and the carne asada was mediumly cooked to beautifulness. 100% recommend. read more
