Great tater tots; chili cheese dog and philly cheese steak dog were OK...Too much bread and hard to eat; Don't roll your eyes when a new customer tries to help by placing a tray on the counter to clean up when you just accepted another's tray; perhaps better to place garbage and disposal in a location where new customers can see it. read more

This place has some of the best hot dogs I have ever eaten. If you're really picky that's no problem you can put literally whatever you want on your hot dog. You want cotton candy on it? Then go ahead they got it....but that's outrageous! If you want bacon on it, they got it, they have anything you can imagine, from a hot dog with nothing to a hot dog with cotton candy on it. Came in today for the first time for lunch and they were packed when we walked in and they had a ton of to go orders on top of that. My mom and i sat at the bar and ordered 2 North Carolina dogs with a side of the loaded fries. Even though they were super busy they still took care of us and got our food to us quickly. I think that was the best hot dog I've ever had. I wanted to try the desserts but was so stuffed I had no room. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. On top of all that they had country legends on the radio which is awesome. We will definitely be back! read more

Went in on a Friday night. Place was full of people. Nobody had food yet. Sat there awhile, thinking something was way off but never got greeted or acknowledged. Then a man walked up to the counter where we were seated to inquire to the staff about the 40 minute wait his family had experienced. He was very rudely told, "we're working our way through tickets as fast as we can, if you don't like it just leave." After witnessing that exchange we were not going to stay. We left, along with the family that had been waiting 40 minutes, plus several other tables. They might have good reviews of food but service is awful and service/attitude is much more important than the food in my opinion. They also censor their Facebook page and delete any negative comments. read more

We finally ate at Buldogies! I didn't think I would crave a hotdog but after eating here I am! I had the Doc Holliday and the hubby had the Pale Rider. They were both delicious! The buns were really great too! way better than just a hot dog bun! We also had loaded fries which were really good as well. We didn't have room for dessert but they sounded really good. My husband and I went here for lunch today and we were really impressed. They greet you when you walk in and explain how to order. The food was out quickly. The restaurant is very small but the space is efficiently used. We tried the Montgomery, Tx dog and New York dog. Both were very good. The hotdog and bun were excellent. We both would have liked shredded cheese on the Montgomery dog instead of the cheese sauce. Also I think a "turn in" bin would be good to place the orders. Great experience! Let me start off saying I normally don't post negative experiences at any business unless you leave me no option! To you, BULDOGIES, the guy (no man would have spoke to women the way you did), BY LAW!!!! It is a health code violation to touch ANY food without gloves and washing your hands! My daughter and I sat at the counter today for lunch and anyone that's been there knows everything is exposed. . . As we sat down we watched the "guy" stick his bare hands in the maraschino cherries and topped a customers dessert and placed it in the take out bag, that was the first! My daughter and I were, hmmm... maybe it just slipped "forgot the gloves". After, he came and spoke while touching counters and and the usual in a restaurant. Another order up, same thing! NO GLOVES while he stuck his hands in the crumbled bacon to top one of the dogs. So next, our order is up and my daughter, who is is one of the managers at SHSU Dining Services, asked why are you not wearing gloves? We sat and watched you touch everything that you made with your bare hands. He made us leave! Not only did he make us leave, he was combative and threatening as if it was our fault! Future orders. . . PLEASE ORDER THERE! And to the owner, if you don't have cameras. . . INVEST IN THEM!!! Food industry has a responsibility to ensure the well being of our customers! read more

Everything here is delicious, their spiral cut fries are amazing, there hasn't been a hotdog of theirs I've tried (and I've tried almost all of them) so far that hasn't wowed me at how good they are. Just so you know I normally don't order hotdogs because I don't like them that much but this place changed my mind. But they offer hotdogs that are meals in themselves. The people that work there are wonderful. Always helpful for recommendations if you want any. Prices are also reasonable. read more

Dropped in for lunch today and experienced a place unlike anywhere else in MOCo. The place has all the pleasant scents of a carnival: Cotton candy, funnel cake and corndogs. The food counter allows you to watch the crew prep and cook food. I saw a guy hand dipping the corndogs. No frozen c-dogs! I went with a couple Chicago style dogs and an order of tater tots. These tots are not the soggy Sonic style people think are standard. These were crisp, hot and tender on the inside. The order easily supports two people's need for tots. The Chicago style were excellent. You can choose whether the dogs are Nathan's or all beef franks. If you like hot dogs you know this is significant. My lady friend had a Montgomery style and a banana split. Her dog was gone before I could mooch a bite, she said it was terrific. The B-split is served vertically in a large clear cup. Every dunk of the spoon you can confirm excavation into each level of delicious ingredients. The ice cream is the real deal. It is not some soft serve garbage for the unwashed masses. While I was getting our tabs the pretty girl at the counter handed me a box. An inspection revealed she packed a freshly cooked hand dipped corndog and a side of homemade dijon mustard. I ate the corndog after a 3 hour nap when I came home. Succinctly, this is the best corndog I have ever had. I will return and I encourage each of you to try Buldogies. These guys are genius!!! I've wondered for years why you have to go to ballparks,fairs,or carnivals to get this type of food. Everyone looks forward to it and pay rediculous prices at these events and most times its not even that good. Enter "Buldogies" !!! They put an exciting twist to carnival food by using premium quality ingredients and are constantly coming up with innovative additions to the food genre. Must try a Nathans hot dog with chili cheese bacon and an over medium egg on top. The creative addition of an egg on an already delectable hot dog makes this a whole new echelon for the genre. In my opinion, the egg added is the best thing that ever happened to a hot dog when yolk busts and soaks into the bun.... oh my! Also they have a ton of festival favs. Cotton candy, deep fried oreos, twinkies, snickers and then took that up a notch by creating deep fried eclaires, cinnamon toast crunch bites, and churros.
