After a stressful morning we decided a new place was a great plan and we are so glad we arrived at RUAH CAFE. The experience started as soon as we walked in with the sophisticated yet simple ambiance and a sweet greeting from everyone in the front of house and quick seating by Savannah. We had been reviewing the menu on our drive there so we ordered pretty quickly and the drinks were served first! YUM-o. (The photos don't reflect the sweet and robust coffee flavor but they are not lacking) My girl got the Iced Coconut Latte and I opted for the Churro. Although sweeter than my usual pick I was not disappointed. For our bites to start the day I chose the Rome while my girl devoured the Tokyo LA w/egg and salmon. The delivery of both dishes had us salivating! I sadly failed to record my "Smokey" delivery of Rome but I will be back for this! #iykyk The unveiling of my dish let the smokey aroma explode and drew me into the dish and made me sad for that last bite! This plate is an experience everyone should enjoy. The semi chunky pesto put it over the top and they were not chinchy on any ingredients!! Did I mention how creamy the burrata was? Every layer of ingredients and flavor elevated this dish with each bite! My girl's dish, Tokyo LA, was served with a perfectly cooked soft egg and the salmon added the perfect flavor. The micro-greens added a great color contrast on the dish and the sourdough has the best crunch and softness altogether. She loved every bite and even shared a bite with me! This is a gem and we can't wait to come back on our next visit to that area. We may have to make an excuse to come back sooner! Such a super chic food experience! Decided to have Friday breakfast with a friend and Ruah did not disappoint. It's a small establishment with unique decor and clean atmosphere. The front staff were very welcoming and there was no wait for a table. Customers frequently entered; some for dine in and others for to-go orders. We ordered the "Choose 3 Bruschettas,"mimosas and the Nutella pistachio latte. All of the bruschettas were unique in their own way. The Nashville bruschetta was a perfect combo of sweet and spicy. The Vancouver was savory and a smoked salmon will hit everytime! The Napoli was cheesy and had just the right about of nutty flavors from the pesto. The Nutella pistachio latte was really good! I ordered it in a to-go cup because I did not expect to drink it right away. However I should have gotten it in the ceramic cup as it was more aesthetically pleasing. I'm actually very surprised by all the 5-star reviews and comments about the quality of the food. The good: The coffee. I had a double-shot vanilla cappuccino and my wife had the Biscoff Iced Crème. Both were very good. Our daughter had a crepe that also received positive reviews and the fruit in it looked quite fresh. The bad: their bacon and breakfast potatoes both tasted and presented as microwaved, and were of the same quality as the average Best Western continental breakfast. Actually, I'd give the edge to Best Western. The okay-ish: the New York Toast was decent, but the bacon that was on it was still terrible. read more

Why 5 stars? Because everything here was made of such high quality. --- --- --- I can't remember the last weekend that went by where I didn't consider visiting Ruah Cafe. The reviews were glowing, but to be honest, when I think about eating out, I'm usually not seeking gourmet toast. However, after one visit, I'm so mad I didn't visit earlier. It. Was. Awesome. I ordered the Sao Paolo and could tell after one bite that a 5-star review was incoming. I loved every bite of it and was only sad when it was over. But THEN, I tried my wife's "New York", which was a breakfast toast. My God, it ended up stealing the show. How do they make toast, eggs and bacon taste so amazing? There was definitely some kind of light syrup or something on it, so maybe that was the key? Either way, I could eat this every day of my life and not get tired of it. For dessert, we ordered the Brussels crepe and, you guessed it, it was also amazing. My favorite part is that it was sweet, but we did not feel gross afterward, which is a common occurrence after consuming too much sugar in our 40's. Everything about the experience felt very European: high quality, fresh ingredients. This includes no ice in our waters. But even our son's Orlando crepe was basic, but great. I am late in writing this review about 10 days after my visit, and just re-living it right now makes me want to go back again ASAP! read more

I don't give 5 star ratings very often. But Ruah very much earned this one. To start, the Nutella Pistachio Latte was so delicious. Yes, it's a dessert in a cup masquerading as a coffee drink, but I didn't mind that at all. The pistachio crumbles Embedded in the Nutella on the rim of the cup was quite the touch...and very tasty. I'll write more later about the Amsterdam 'loaded' toast and the Dubai Sweet crepe, but they were unique and delicious. I split both of these with my wife. And I finished with a double espresso. We recently hosted our "Brave Girls Who Brunch" meet-up here with more than 20 ladies, and Ruah Café handled our big group beautifully! The food here is simply outstanding! We had lunch there for the first time yesterday and are still talking about how great the flavors were, on each and every dish, from savory to sweet, bruschetta to crepes. We just can't wait to go back! Now, having said that...the space is a little odd. The dining room is really a wide hallway, with several of the tables uncomfortably close to the restrooms. And the service is...casual? The ladies there are wonderful, they all seem fully invested in the place, but don't be in a hurry. We had to flag down our server for pretty much every request, including getting silverware, then again for ordering, and finally getting the check. You'd think that would condemn a place to no more than a 3 or 4-star review, but the food is SO GOOD that they can get away with it. We go to two restaurants a day (yes really) all around Conroe, The Woodlands, Magnolia and Montgomery. This just jumped into our Top 10, and maybe Top 5. Don't miss it! read more

I went here for my 21st birthday brunch, and I had the best experience with overall food, atmosphere, and service! The staff is so attentive and the owner spent time to talk to our table and gave me a free birthday crepe. The food was absolutely amazing and I've been back multiple times since my birthday and they remember me and always stop to say hi, and we always have such good conversations (they genuinely care about you)!
