The service here is SLOW. And they don't have change for cash. Isn't cash still a legal tender? Is this a grab for tips from the barista? I saw the person before me use correct change, but she doesn't have change for my $10 bill for a $6 coffee? Seems sketchy. I mean, I'm gonna tip, but the telling me you don't have change part DOES seem like you telling me that I either can't pay in cash, or you're keeping the $10. Anyway, the coffee. It's fine. Nothing to write home about or complain about. However, it took 20 mins for us to get our uncomplicated orders. The sandwiches were overcooked and dry. Stopped here with a friend while running errands the other day and I would definitely go back. The vibe inside is pretty cool - I'm used to coffee shops being pretty cozy and warm and this one was definitely not that. Lots of open seating when we got there and plenty of parking in the lot. The server was friendly and the service was pretty quick! I ordered the Old Grandad. It was really good, I love maple bourbon and I thought it was really tasty. I will say, this was not a cheap coffee haha, I found it kind of pricey as far as iced coffees go. That being said, I would definitely go back and bring friends. read more

My husband and I walked in for some coffee, both of us dragging. When we arrived, the "Open" neon light was on and lots of people inside. The girl working the counter looked at us and said, "Uh, we're closed." Online it looked like they were open until 10pm and we got there at 3:55 pm. After leaving we see they close at 4 pm and reopen at 7pm but no explanation or "Sorry, we're closing up but will reopen at 7pm." Just very rude. Will not be back. read more

Why 5 stars? Because this was definitely one of the best nitros I've had. --- --- --- I go to the other Galindo's Barber Shop for my haircut and wanted to check out their coffee spot for a while now. When we were finished trying a new lunch spot in the same parking lot, I figured that this was my opportunity. I'm so happy I did, because I loved it. My initial reaction to the first sip was simply, "Wow". It's hard to describe why - the flavors fit into that perfect sweet spot of being bold, but not too bold. I really hate when coffee has heavy fruit notes, but this was none of that - it was much more in the chocolate family. After I'd already paid for my drink, I asked if the beans that were for sale were what they used for the nitro. The girl behind the counter explained that they weren't because they go through a really extensive process to create the nitro. That made me appreciate it even more. And I bought the beans anyway, which I were great when I made my own espresso the next morning at home. Galindo's: not just an awesome place for haircuts, but also for caffeination. read more

Absolutely the most delicious coffee ever!!! Spontaneously stopped here in need of a quick coffee fix. I didn't know what to expect from a coffee shop that's also connected to a barbershop - but I'm glad I stopped in! The barista helped me choose a coffee more tasty to my palate - Which she was spot on! She shared information on other menu items including their energy balls - also very tasty and a good healthy on the go snack. The venue however is quite small, with very little seating. Came here while running errands with a friend and needed coffee and we didn't want to go to a chain. This place had a really cool vibe and specialty lattes. I got the lavender latte and it was really good. It definitely has more of a cocktail bar vibe than a cafe vibe. I would definitely try to come back here for a cocktail sometime. As a coffee shop connoisseur this place was great! The food looked amazing and the coffee was triple A++. The service people were so nice, thoughtful, and having a great day. You really feel welcomed while waiting and that is not even the best part...though a smaller space due to it being connected to a barbershop, the AMBIANCE in here is AMAZING! I loved the plants, smell(s), and sounds. The aura was quite relaxing and invigorating which the coffee sips later intensify!
