Very nice and quaint atmosphere, lots of space to sit and work, get coffee with a group or a friend on a beautiful October Saturday morning. The cafe is clean and new. Designed well, Open spaces, again with lots of seating. A huge patio, 2 large interior seating areas. 1 is a lobby with a few tables. The other is a designated "quiet" work area. But honestly loved that part about it. Just some folks enjoying a nice beverage having a lovely soft convo. Staff was friendly, & each cup was made by a skilled barista, so not the quickest grab and dash but delicious none the less. Worth checking out, keep an eye out because the turns come up quick after you pass the fire station. Tons of parking too.

Chicken Mole Empaña, chocolate croissant, ham croissant, coke, iced vanilla latte.

The Chicken Mole empanada was really good! The croissants were so delicious as well. The vanilla latte was good! The young lady who brought our food said the owner named it after their dog, Oli passed away. It is dog friendly and they have a patio. We will be coming back!

Great location. Drinks looked great. Food looked delicious. My children had the cookies. The parking lot is small and gravel. Not a cheap experience. Clean location. Welcoming environment. Friendly staff.

The food was excellent., no complaints, the chocolate martini was really good except for very sweet, the Pinot Noir wine was great, I will order this again next time, the happy hour had great choices and good prices. We tried the brussels sprouts, and oysters on the half shell, both regular and grilled. I'm not an oyster fan, however, my husband said they were decent. He goes to Louisiana a lot and has them there so not as good as Louisiana but decent for Magnolia. For the main course, we had the shrimp Angel hair pasta, which was very good. The noodles taste a lot like Ramen noodles. We also tried the pepperoni pizza with jalapeño. Excellent!

We entered to a friendly staff who sat us immediately. The vibe is very modern with some Mexican influence. We were with another couple and I think they were under the impression that this would be Tex-Mex, but it is not. For drinks I got a Mezcalina, my wife got a normal margarita normally I don't love Mezcal, but was feeling adventurous and this drink did not disappoint, it exploded with flavor and was my favorite drink I have had here. The bar program might be the best of any restaurant in the area, as it should be since they have a speakeasy as well. In my previous trip they brought us complimentary chips and salsa, but the time they brought Mexican hummus and pita. I was initially disappointed, but this was one of the more unique complimentary dishes I have had, and loved it. For starters, we got the TOSTADA CHUTORO, which was a tostada with raw fish and caviar. There were two, and although smaller bites to share, the flavor once again really shined through. I would say this is similar to a ceviche dish with really fresh fish and bright flavors.

We really enjoyed their Royal Margaritas, Tostada de ceviche blanco and Aguachile negro appetizers. Our entrees were also delicious. My Pollo asado was so tender, juicy and full of wonderful flavors. I was greeted by our server, Kylie, shortly after sitting down. She had my Grey Goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives out quickly. My friend and I visited for quite a while without ordering and Kylie would stop by just to check on us but never making us feel rushed. We split the wedge salad and it was delicious. I chose a 6 oz filet, MR, with the maître de butter and brussel sprouts as my side. We also had truffle fries. The steak came out a little rare but I let it rest about 5 minutes and it was perfect. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of salt and truffle sauce. The brussel sprouts were glazed and cooked to just the right firmness. We also had the bananas foster for dessert. The presentation was great and it was oh so yummy. The ambience was perfect, the service was amazing and everything made for a fantastic celebration night.

DJ was spinning tunes inside but we opted for outdoor seating on their covered patio as it was a nice day. I gotta say I had some trepidation given our CM's earlier experiences here. But everything turned out just fine on our visit. First off I love that everything on the menu is under $20. That means we can order more. I was a bit worried that out steak and eggs would be tough because I ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium well. It's even cut already so they should've been able to tell how well done it was. But it was still tender which is actually all I really cared about. The Holy Smoked Benedict is not your traditional eggs Benedict. Instead of ham they have slices of pork belly. And it's served on a crispy biscuit (I could taste the crunch) with potatoes with a poached egg on top just like a regular Benedict. My only comment would be a little too many potatoes for my particular liking, but you can just brush them off. With the money we saved we got the beignets. They come in a sack of 5 and with a Meyer lemon curd on top side for dipping that has a dollop of melted marshmallow cream on top. They aren't traditional beignets but are really small biscuits. They tasted hot and fresh, and were nice and fluffy regardless, which again is all I really cared about. Cold water comes in an old whisky bottle and is left at your table so you can pour as much as you want when you want. I really wish more restaurants did this. The place is also now on the InKind app so make sure you sign in and pay with the app if you do that kind of stuff. InKind is free and has occasional offers that make dining even more affordable.
