Bubble waffle (surprise, surprise) place inside the Brentwood food court. Parking is plentiful in the surrounding lots. This place serves Taiwanese style food, as well as their signature bubble waffles. I've had their food (rice and noodle soup) at their other locations and it's decent. Their bubble waffles come in a few flavours. Great for munching on and sharing with friends. Personally I like the matcha flavour the best.

Bubble waffle cafe food is ok but can't say it's the greatest, not cheap for HK style street food, staff can be friendly when the day is slow, if busy, friendliness isn't their. In Amazing Brentwood, food counter is bright, and food trays are clean, Brentwood gives the food stall like street vendors.

They are located inside Brentwood mall. I came here with a friend for dinner and decided that our main meal was not enough. So we decided to grab something from Bubble Waffle to top our meal off. We got the taiwanese fried chicken to share. The flavor was not bad. It was nice and crispy. Each pieces were on the smaller end. The chicken was somewhat dry. Note that Taiwanese chicken usualy don't come with sauce. I have also noticed the prices are slightly different compared to other locations. Because they are located inside the food court, there are plenty of tables and chairs.

Stopped by for a meal at the Brentwood food court before watching a movie at the VIP theatres. We ordered a lamb dry noodle (which came with a drink) and the rice roll dish to share. The dry noodle was standard fare - well portioned and I think they gave us beef instead of lamb but that's fine. It only came with one brocoli so it would've been nice to have more veggies. It came with a drink and we ordered a milk tea - it was super delicious and reminded me of the traditional HK cafes. The rice roll was really good - steaming hot - and came with siu mai and curry fish balls. Good amount of soy sauce, oyster sauce and peanut butter.

I ordered salty chicken nugget with rice. It came with free milk tea. I got my order in about 10 minutes. The chicken nuggets were crispy and flavorful. The rice was cooked well but nothing special. The milk tea was just ok (standard milk tea). Overall, the food was just average & the price was kinda pricey for a simple dish like that.

Tonight's Takeout Dinner @bubblewafflecafevancouver This location is inside the TABLES food court @the.amazing.brentwood - Hainanese Chicken on Rice The chicken meat is very moist and tastes good. The oil rice would be better if there's chicken oil aroma in it. - Cumin Beef on Rice The beef has a very strong cumin flavor in it. Both Iced Lemon Tea taste fine. Of course we also ordered the Bubble Waffles with the combo. Taste: 3/5 Don't forget to use their phone app to order online and get 10% off. A bit more expensive than other bubble waffle locations, but delicious laksa soup. Quality of ingredients is all mediocre and the bubble waffle is yummy but also just decent. However the quantity is a lot more with a nice paper bowl compared to other location smaller plastic bowl. Getting a drink and noodles for about $17 is solid. Definitely try the laksa. 7.5/10 overall

If there was a negative rating I would give it. My partner orders the Duck noodle in laksa soup. . There was absolutely no soup in the item that my partner ordered. When I went back to the counter to solve the problem and bring up the issue. The person working there told me to call the manger myself using my phone. The manager asked me to send a photo of the item and was arguing the the soup and item was up to standard and it was "factory". For those coming here DO NOT ORDER YOUR FOOD HERE, that is if you want to have a nasty surprise with the soup completely covered in "FACTORY OIL" i highly recommend not ordering your fast food take out here. This is what I get... I had not soup and the second smaller soup in the picture was another one that they gave me and the person at the counter asked me for .25 cents. How can you ask the customer to call the manager and not be diligent in upholding customer service. Will not come back again!

This is my first time trying Bubble Waffle Cafe since Brentwood Mall's renovations. They were one of the busy food court stalls. They have combos for $13 which included a drink (choice of iced milk tea or lemon tea). Definitely, this stall offers one of the more affordable food court options. I ordered the salty chicken nuggets with rice and lemon tea. A bubble waffle can be added for an extra $2 with purchase of a combo. I was happy with my meal. Nuggets tasted okay. It was crispy but could have had a bit more seasoning. The oil rice was okay. I could not taste much chicken flavour or anything from the oil. The two broccoli florets had a good crunch. I wish there were a couple more florets to balance the meal. The lemon tea tasted as expected. My child really loved the bubble waffle. It was sweet and chewy by the time we got around to eating it. It lost its crispness, but it was a good price. Overall, not the best quality food, but definitely one of the cheaper options for entree and drink combos.

Hainamese Chicken rice reminded me about my mum's cooking back in Malaysia .... Fantastic! It came with sweet chilli sauce and some soy sauce .... With smooth boneless chicken meat , marvellous! With combo came with a drink. Nothing will go wrong with an iced coffee at noon !

The place used to be a fried chicken (fast food) joint way back, so the seating area is actually not that large. Most of the space is taken up by the kitchen. Staff are friendly and professional. The food is typical mid end banquet style, but the flavours are good, and the value is there. Lettuce wrap - standard restaurant fare. Decent quality. Fried green bean - nice and spicy, thanks to the house chili sauce. They can tune the spiciness on this one. Default is on the spicier side. Tasty. Shanghai fried noodles - standard restaurant fare. Hot & sour soup - better than the competition. Not sure what's special about it, but it stood out. Chongqing deluxe fried rice - one of their signature dishes. Great mix of flavour. Crispy rice with shrimp soup - honestly this would be the one dish that wasn't that great. Rice blocks were crispy, but the shrimp soup was nothing special. I'd skip this dish. Other than the crispy rice, everything is pretty standard compared to similar places out there. Expectations were met. Very good value. I'd gladly eat here again. Recommended.

They're a Northern Chinese spot that specializes in Guangxi cuisine and located right next to Onezo Tapioca. Even though it closes at 9:00pm, there were still people after us that came in for late night eats. We didn't have any issues with service; they came by to fill our tea several times. Just wish they gave bigger cups. Food comes out in a hurry. The menu is short and sweet: noodles, rice meals, appetizers, wontons and drinks. Trip #1 First visit was on a late Wednesday evening (around 8:30pm). - Mama's unique special milk tea ($4.80) - we added grass jelly ($0.50) which was unfortunately from a can. The milk tea was different than the norm as there was sweet fermented rice bits mixed in. Decent but don't think we'd get it again. - Sour and spicy crystal noodle ($6.98) - glass noodles with minced pork, bean sprouts, cilantro and peanuts. We got our dish medium spicy which was mild. Broth was excellently balanced; loved the sour notes. Glass noodles had a satisfying bite and cilantro added freshness to the bowl. - House special escargot rice noodles in spicy noodles ($13.98) - escargot, pig ear, beef, tofu, marinated egg, shrimp and pork intestine. There was also pickled green beans, bamboo shoots, tofu skins, wood ear mushrooms and peanuts. Really different with a good variety of textures and flavour. Loved all the types of meat, especially the tender beef, pork intestine and pig ear. Escargot was tasty but we wanted more. The tofu skin and wood ear mushrooms underneath were excellent. - Fresh meat wonton ($5.98) - this comes in a light broth with 15 homemade wontons, pickled seaweed and baby dried shrimp. Broth is basic but the wontons are great. Trip #2 Second trip was on a Friday evening (around 8:00pm). - Braised beef, pig ear and tofu ($10.98) - the beef is the same as what you get in their noodle bowls. Pig ear wasn't crunchy but the sauce (some sort of Chinese mushroom) was good. Tofu was fairly standard. For the price, it's a small dish; I didn't think it was worth it. - Shredded chicken, vegetable and cold noodle with house sauce ($9.53) - they asked us how spicy we wanted it; we went with spicy. Again, it's not so don't worry. The noodles were thin and the sauce was almost like a dan dan mein. We liked how it wasn't overwhelmingly peanuty. - Beef and escargot rice noodle in spicy soup ($9.98) - the beef is super tender. Again, the escargots are hard to find but everything else in this bowl is delicious. Tofu skin, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, peanuts and pickled green beans. Satisfying and spiciness finally came through. An interesting twist to the usual Northern Chinese spots typically found in town. Cash or debit only.
