Well as many times as I have been to Midland I had never been to Bubba's 33, a very busy place that's for sure. It's a Sports Bar/ Restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess and although the place was packed we were seated at a table, the menu had lots of choices for all food types, they even serve pizza. Our server was friendly and mostly attentive even with it being busy. We had the fried pickles for an appetizer and they were delicious served with ranch and a sweet creamy sauce, I had the 12oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, food was good and will definitely stop here again.

this is the rating, pretty good bubba's 33

Get all the sauces for the wings. You'll be glad you did.

Always a great time here. The food is fresh and flavorful. Don't sleep on the wings and make sure you get the pizza well done for that extra crisp. Plus the service is spot on.

We came here after the Christmas tree lighting and I had never been here. I'm glad we came here. Typical American food like you would expect from BJs brewhouse with drinks like texas roadhouse in a plucked type atmosphere is how I would describe it. We had Sophia as a waitress and she was awesome! The food ans drinks were great! We will definitely go back! Highly recommended the onion rings and chicken tenders with mango lemonade.

The Philly and Fries was outstanding. The meat flavorful and abundant. The fries were hot and fresh. Daisy the bartender was friendly, attentive and service was fast! Definitely will come back.

The place is great to watch sports! There are three sections in the restaurant: outdoor patio, family section, and full bar section. The pizza is delicious! Very tasty and crispy. I like pizza, so I give this spot a 4.6 on its pizza. The wings are great. Feels like any other wings. The wings just keep getting smaller. If the wings were a little fatter (lol), I will give this review a 5 star. The service was great. I was seated and my order was taken quickly. I usually know what I am going to order.

Great food. Good service. A bit loud but they've got plenty of TVs. The drinks are mixed right & the beer is ICE COLD!

I was worried we wouldn't have any fun date spots but let me tell YOU. This spot was amazing 10/10 will miss this food leaving more than anything. If they catered weddings we'd hire them. I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!

What is going on with these steaks?…read more As the 1 star reviews indicate there are significant challenges with the steaks. First attempt Jan 3 2026. I ordered NY strip (Wagyu) and specified medium. What came out was a steak that was half rare and other half barely medium. Like the steak was half on the stove and other half just hanging around. The rare part was so rare it was still attached to the cow. 2nd attempt March 17th 2026. Learning from previous experience I ordered same steak, Wagyu NY strip, as a medium well. I was thinking some 'Kentucky windage' on the steak cooking might get me a better result. Nope. Now the steak was well done and the ends were just...carbon. It was over salted as well. These are $100+ dollar steaks. I eat at Delmonico, The Cut, Prime, restaurants in Vegas 2-4 times a year. The steaks at these premium establishments are $20-$30 less and never disappointing. If Cowboy Prime could come close to this level of performance, I'd be down there 2-3 times per month. The good Caesar salad is off the charts good. Crab cakes good Rock shrimp good All American burger good Whipped potatoes are fantastic. Drinks are good. Dessert menu is slim but very good offerings This place has alot of potential. If they can get over the hump on the steaks this would be amazing. I would also try to enforce a dress code. The worst I saw was a guy in a tattered, ripped, and dirty hoodie with a green beanie, and quite frankly looked "unhoused".

This part of Texas has no business having sushi that good either. Used to always get the wagyu ribeye, then th Akaushi, then I tried the lamb chops and got stuck on those. They've got a desert that I can never remember the name of that looks kind of like a cheesecake. It's phenomenal. Wait staff is always terrific. Easy to spend over $1,000 here, but also not hard to leave for less than $100/person and have everyone waddling out with a loose button. Fantastic restaurant.

My favorites there was always a good brisket and cheese burrito. But like most Mexican food places i always started just a bean and cheese burrito or taco, cause if you mess that up then I cannot trust you to make anything else. Last time I was in I was it had been a good 20 years since I had been to Midland and able to even go to Oscar's. I needed something to hold me over as I drove back from Texas to New Mexico. Decided to get an easy chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito. I don't know if it's under new management from what it was when I would go in there but not the level of service that I was used to. I was worried that I might not even get the right order even though it should have been a simple burrito. When I started eating it was not the blast from the past that I was expected but more a mid level chorizo egg and cheese burrito. The inside was a bit more grimy and larger than I remember but it did not subtract or add to the experience in anyway. So the review breakdown is more like this: Memory = 5 Stars Most recent visit = 2 Stars
