Garbage hamburgers. Tasted like they fried the burger with whatever chemical they used to clean the grill. Won't be eating there again.

Good burger. Better service than most fast food burger joints. Lots of options on the menu but typical of what Dairy Queen may have available. Think steak fingers, chicken strips, foot long coneys, & ice cream, but a little better quality and nicer atmosphere. Usually these restaurants are clean and well run. There's been a few times I've been and dining area needed attention but for the most part it's usually clean. They have many of the usual options to customize your burger, types of cheeses, bacon, jalapeño paste, chili. They have many different options for ice cream as well. It's real hand scooped ice cream, not soft serve. You can order banana splits, sundaes, parfaits, or shakes. Overall great place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends or by yourself. read more

Place serves decent burgers but...every time we visit I see the burger posters showing fresh buns almost perfect, you know - full rising buns but when you receive a typical burger or any burger they are always smashed! Why? Do the kids making these enjoy serving smashed burgers?!!! Come people! Take some pride & serve the burger like your posters!! read more

We went to Texas Burger for lunch today. We wanted a change from eating at home. We have tried to give our establishments some income. Things are tough for us all right now but if the food is not edible at the Places you decide to eat at, then what the hell! Our burgers were so dry and disgusting, we couldn't even eat them. The buns were so old that it was almost impossible to swallow. And to complain you have to make your way back to the front of the line. Not worth it!!!!! Very good for something quick and reasonable. Employees clean and friendly. Tables and booths clean. Floors and counters clean. Food came out hot and fast. I can't vouch for ALL the Texas burgers in midland but the one on wadley next to mr. Gatti's is awesome. The chicken sandwich and spicy fries is my JAM! It's really stupid when the manager wants you. To pull up just for ice cream . wow are they that slow . I went last week to this pathetic location . ordered a brownie sundae . and I was told to pull up . because my order wasn't ready . a single brownie with fucking ice cream on top. I was at the drive through window for about 5 minutes before someone even opened the window and when they did I was asked, "what are you even waiting for?". After they charged my card, gave me the food and soda, I got told to pull forward for the three shakes because it would take 10-15 more minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes, they brought my three shakes out without a drink carrier and just started handing them to me in rush. Before I pulled away, I noticed the shakes were mostly melted already. I had to wait ten minutes and let my food get cold while I waited for already melted shakes. read more

I am writing my review based on the chili cheese fries the cheese was great cause I got extra but the chili hey put is NOT good at all!!!! The fries lack salt and when I asked for a side of ranch I got a PACKET of hidden valley ranch.? So you guys don't use fresh buttermilk ranch. I'm not sure what people see in this place. We moved to midland a couple months ago and I've tried the burger, grilled cheese, and crispy chicken sandwich. The grilled cheese was the best of all three. The burger tasted very plain, small patty, tons of lettuce. The crispy chicken was the same; small patty, tons of lettuce. Definitely not worth the high prices they charge. read more

If their beef patties were a little thicker and they didn't smash all of the juice out while they're on the grill, they could be much better. I would also recommend switching to romaine lettuce instead of the shredded lettuce. read more

last time for this texas burger. this is the second time we have gone there and gotten cold food, fries and tater tots must have been out all afternoon, no heat at all, mustard seemed to be watered down or there was a lot of water in lettuce, whichever our burgers were dripping with it and grease. the buns were not warm but had burned edges. tea was old, fixing to turn. we heard and saw manager giving employess job duties, as soon as she walked out the door they quit and ganged up in the prep area laughing and talking. My friends and I used to love eating at TX Burger or going through the drive thru. When we ordered the crinkle cut fries and asked them to be cooked well done, it was never a problem. This past year the service has gone way down, orders are not made correctly 95% of the time-this is at both Midland locations. We ordered well done fries and steak fingers and gravy tonight. Most of the fries were cold or limp, some were still frozen and the gravy was congealed. We called and spoke to the manager and she apologized and said it could be remade, but we went through the drive thru and did not want to have to turn back around. The gravy had to be thrown away and we had to recook the fries at home. The only thing that was done well were the steakfingers. It seems to be a problem at several fast food restaurants in Midland lately. The help does not act courteous or professional and you can tell they really don't want to work. We realize that there is an oil boom going on in this area but does that mean their standards have to go way down? I don't think we will be giving them our business anymore. read more
