Visited on a Friday before Christmas for the very first time around the afternoon hour and we were quickly seated. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our needs were met. I ordered the Blue Ocean cocktail which was very good as well as loaded cheese and bacon fries in which to my surprise the fries were very thin shoe string size very dry. Time for our entree, we ordered the pepperoni pizza which came out pretty good tasted like a street pizza like the ones found on Austin's 6th St which was cheese and greasy and also the fried chicken and shrimp dinner with house salad and loaded mash potatoes which were dry. OVERALL: Exceptional service, very attentive staff and food is ok for the price payed, recommended for one to try it out themselves however wouldn't return for the food on my own terms. read more

Was told to sit in the open seating bar area. I found a seat. I've been here 20 minutes and haven't been approached once. I've had at least 5 waiters walk past.. a couple walked past more than once. The restaurant is amazing, it was our first time and two managers came over and welcomed us and gave us a new customer goodie pack including a free appetizer for next time. Never been a big fan of Bubbas because of the service. But the convenience drug me in. I ordered the Dos and an app. The kitchen was lacking ingredients, which leads me to the most redeeming aspect of the experience. Grace. Grace not only noticed the missing ingredients but really made the the experience go from a 3 to a 10. The kitchen was out of tomatoes. Her attitude would have planted a field of them to make it right. The kitchen was out potato straws. Her attitude would have fried a whole truckload. Point being, she lives and works by her name and was the saving Grace tonight. Her whole attitude kept the bar taken care and everyone happy. Great place, one of my favorite restaurants, the parking is plenty no matter how busy, the interior ambiance is sport themed and very joyful, with so many screens to count! Service is always good, food is always delicious. Pizzas are great priced and portioned. The burger is one of those kind of all organic meat that melts in your mouth, with the perfect bun. Had the worst experience. Burger came out with wrong cheese and rare. When we mentioned it we were told they make them "medium rare" even though the menu says "medium" and I know the difference between raw meat and cooked. Server just gave lots of excuses and proceeded to ignore us. They always have a ton of staff just standing around talking to each other. I'm never going back. read more

The beer is very carbonated. The "ribeye" is beef but that's the best I can say. Wings are hit or miss, and if you want crispy don't bother. It's very loud. First I want to start off by saying I love the food here, but the employees are terrible. When you walk the hostess a young African American girl cannot even smile. The WiFi wasn't working my son ask the hostess if they have WiFi she said yes he explained it wasn't working and she just shrugged and said I guess it doesn't work then, not hey let me check on that. We eat at this location regularly. We live e in Odessa, but drive to Midland to eat at Bubba's. The Odessa location is not great. The Midland location has friendly staff and great food and beer. The decor is family friendly and comfortable. We usually get in without a wait. The only thing I don't like is that they are not open for lunch on most days. read more

On the upside, the food was very tasty (especially the beer-battered fish.) We have zero complaints so far as that goes. That said, service was not good. Our food came out at different times. My wife and I never got our beers. They forgot to put my older daughter's meal on the ticket, so she didn't get any food until the rest of us were done eating. Also, we were charged for one more coke than we ordered, but it took our waitress so long to even get us our ticket that I wound up eating that cost just to pay out and go. (My daughter who had to wait for her meal wanted to eat it at home because she was a little frustrated by the situation.) On our way out, the family table at the next saw my daughter's to-go box and asked what happened. They said they were in the same boat- everyone had a plate except for one of their kids, who's order never made it into the system either. The whole situation put a damper on our family outing. Close to and hour later we find out that our table had been handed to another group. When we went up an asked where we were in the list the guy said he would put us back on the list... guess he put us at the bottom. After he sat 2 more tables we left. Don't waste your time. That's an hour I'll never get back. After all the frustration we asked for a manager and they said it would be a while before we could talk to them... more waiting. No way- we left. While I sat and watched every sporting event that was happening last Sunday night I went ahead and ordered the signature ribeye... I thought it sounded kinda funny and was skeptical of someone marinating a ribeye in cappuccino but went ahead and tried it anyway and let me tell ya folks... I know food, I live in a town with less than 2000 people with 6 award winning italian resturants.. This steak was amazing it wasn't the best I've had but was damn sure in the conversation.. We ordered online take-out from here while I was in town visiting family. I got the veggie burger and fries. We went inside to pick up our order, but they have a sign on the To Go lanes with a number for curbside pickup...but I do what I want. I would imagine that's a nice feature for most people, you don't even have to get out of your car. We had a few minutes to wait on our order, so we had time to look around a bit. I like the atmosphere of the place. There are TVs everywhere and it's loud, but not so loud that it's unpleasant. Everyone inside was super friendly. We were helped by a few people who didn't seem inconvenienced by us. It sounds so simple, but you don't get that everywhere. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there. The food was out when they said it would be, we had it scheduled to be ready at 6:00 and we were out of there by 6:01. I can't really speak on the regular burgers, they looked really good, and huge. I had the veggie burger and loved it. The black bean and quinoa patty was a little bit too big for my liking, so I cut it in half and it was perfect. The patty itself isn't very flavorful, but it worked well with the toppings. The fries were my favorite kind. They're not natural cut or anything, just skinny french fries with salt. None of them were soggy, so that scores points with me. The prices are kind of high, but the ingredients seem good enough to justify it. It looks like a fun place to hang out and eat, definitely will come back. read more

Food is great... Onion rings and Bubba's sauce is bomb. Pizza is my absolute favorite in town although Nacho Mamma's Pizza is ehhh and the burgers are supurb. My only complaint about this place is it's dirty. From when you pull in the parking lot to the overflowing trash cans outside the front doors it looks like management just does not care how this place looks. The bathrooms are horrible!! Trash all over floors, dirt or ashes in sinks, candy wrappers and paper towels all over floor and the floors do not look like they have been mopped since the place was opened.
