We had Cane D'oro Pizza while attending the "Tap into Odessa" beer/wine tasting event. Overall, it was a solid pie. I LOVED the wood fired crust! Topping options were pretty good. We went pepperoni, sausage and bacon. It was super cheesy without even having to order extra cheese! The one "problem" was that when you'd go to pick up a slice, ALL the toppings would slide right off! And this was after letting the pizza cool for a few minutes. (It was still scorching hot). And it didn't happen JUST to the first slice we picked up... up 'til the last slice, toppings slipped right off. Very messy!! Price wise, a large with 3 toppings was $20. Personal size was $12. They had "gourmet" pies for a bit more. Not sure price... But like I said, delicious! I'd definitely visit again! Never would have thought there'd be a wood fired oven in a good truck! read more

I can't say enough good things about the owners of the 'Pizza Truck' as my teachers call it. Our school organized an opportunity for teachers to preorder pizzas and the Truck/Oven came and cooked them fresh, onsite so that my teachers could enjoy during their short lunch. We loved supporting a local business. Teri was great to work with and made this affordable for my teachers. The pizzas tasted great and we were able to pick our toppings for a great lunch experience. I also have to compliment the 'Pizza Truck' because it was a chilly, rainy day and they toughed it out so our staff could have a special treat. Thanks! Everyone should try this. Good pizza! The owner is from New Jersey, I wish he was a New Yorker. Every one knows the pizza is better in New York. Anyways, there's a review and a guy gave 3 stars because the sauce was too sweet, and tasted canned and the jalapeños weren't pickled. Anyone that knows canned tomatoes and homemade fresh tomatoes acquire the same taste, when making salsa, pasta sauce, tomato soup, tomato sauce, ketchup, ect. Homeboy obviously doesn't know food. And fresh jalapeños over picked jalapeños any day with a good fresh pizza. Anyways, guys midland has good pizza and these guys are making it. Also, the red oak kitchen, but, this is about Cane D'oro. Sauce is improved, however the edge of the crust was burnt to a crisp. I like to eat all of my pizza and could not finish this one all the way. It is a brick oven so it's understandable for it to be charred, however if the dough were slightly thicker on the edge it would be edible. read more

Pizza was pretty tasty, just wish they weren't so skimpy with the mozzarella cheese on the Margarita pizza. At $12 for a personal pizza, there should have been more than 7 little balls of melted cheese. read more
