The place is rundown looking inside and definitely not a choice for date night, but the food is very good. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas which are served four to an order with beans and rice. They were very authentic and delicious. The chicken tasted and looked like it was all white meat and the sauce was homemade using jalapenos, not tomatillos. My husband ordered Red Gorditas which were very good. The ground beef was the best, but the chile verde was also very good. The brisket gordita fell a little short because it tasted like bbq and neither one of us was a fan. The iced tea was fresh and the free chips and salsa were good with a mild spiciness, although a bit too garlicky. The one really big negative is the horrible service. The waitress that took our order did so with a pukey look on her face. Our meal was delivered by a different waitress and then no one followed up with us our remaining time there. My husband had to flag down someone for a tea refill and then again for a to-go box.
