I just dealt with the rudest young lady named Jazzy .. she was on phone duty this evening 02/28/2025 @ 6:30 pm on a Friday evening.. after I asked if they could toast both sides so it didn't come soggy as usual.. I was very nice and she was extremely rude .. when she still didn't make it was toasted on both sides I decided to let the manager know how rude she was and while I was on hold she hung up on me 4 times ! How have I not reviewed Firehouse Subs yet? So I have a silly little Birthday tradition... there are a number of restaurants that offer FREE stuff on your birthday if you sign up for their "clubs". Firehouse Subs gives you a FREE MEDIUM SUB on your special day and this was the 2nd year in a row that I have gotten my FREE SUB and they did NOT disappoint. I went with a Club Sub. Ham, turkey, bacon, cheese and veggies, dry (no mayo or mustard). Now, you may think I'm "weird" but I eat my subs cold. Firehouse Subs is known for their heated subs in which they steam the meat and cheese. Cold subs are requested so infrequently that the cashier didn't even know how to ring it up. Haha. The staff here were all so friendly. Service was pretty quick too! Sub was made perfectly! Firehouse Sub's bread is so soft and fluffy! Yum! My husband isn't even a big fan of cold subs and I shared mine with you and he enjoyed it more than the meatball sub I got him (from another establishment). It's a big corporate fast food place so i mean don't expect the best sandwich in the world, but it's good. Five stars because without a shadow of a doubt, the staff will always be caring, nice, and funny. They all are usually having a good time. I'm really sorry for leaving this review because normally this establishment does a great job. I'm sorry guys but the amazing sandwich I am used to getting for years now (without issue) was terrible. Dangggg! Finally got to eat here. It was delivered from a food service app but it was still 10/10 delicious. I ordered a vitamin water but it tasted like orange hi-c (my childish pallet was all about that!). I got beef & cheese sandwich (it comes with mayonnaise and bbq sauce) the meat was so tender and juicy, not dry at all! The bread had a light crisp so it didn't cut the inside roof of your mouth to pieces. The cheese was flavorful and melty, the mayo was a great flavor addition, and the bbq sauce was a perfect zing, 10/10 incredible and can't wait to eat here again! Pros: Decent food, service is quick, restaurant is clean. Competitive prices. Atmosphere is unique. You can donate to your local Fire Dept. by rounding up your tab to the nearest dollar. Oatmeal raisin cookies are excellent. Cons: Tables are small and large parties may have a hard time finding seating that is close together. Fountain drinks were almost completely depleted. The customer service is lacking and when my order was called by the wrong name three times, I finally approached and asked if that was my order- only to be stared At blankly by the sandwich maker who looked at me like I was on fire. I repeated what my order was and he respond a reassuring "um I think so, yeah". The girl who took the order had plenty of time to walk back and forth and no pay any attention to the customers. This place has great sandwiches but don't have it delivered by ANY delivery service! I ordered thru doordash and it came late and it was someone else order with my name on it. My driver raced back to correct the order and I called and spoke with the manager Blanca. She was rude, made excuses and didn't care to fix the situation. Her concern was to get me off the phone. After eating at other sub restaurants the taste morphs into a negative consistency in blended taste among multiple sandwich subs on the menu. I would refer to this place as a classic sub taste. It is greasy. It is medium in order turnover. The coke dispenser is not mixed properly and ends up tasting just like the sandwiches, blended. The management needs to put out these fires. They have multiple sauces (condiments) to choose from. It is clean. The cup sizes are generous. You might be getting burned on the overall price. read more
