This is how your "area manager" & delivery driver (his words) speaks to others & is always so rude when he delivers. This was him interrupting my class & arguing with me. Then he hung up on me & cancelled my order when I called the store asking for the manager that apologized for his terrible behavior. He wouldn't even refund me, nor would let me speak to anyone else - just would hang up on me without saying anything. First of all the length of the sammich is awesome, however the bread really sucks. It was chewy and not fresh by any means. Also the various meat combos they are offering is very poor in my opinion. Sub way was better but now I hate them too. If anyone wants to offer me an idea where to get a GOOD SAMMICH in Odessa I'd love to hear from you. Ordered online and created an account, picked up around the estimated time, overall a pretty great deli shop and massive deli sandwich. They seem to use premium ingredients, mine had roast beef, ham, turkey, and salami,they seem to use a vinaigrette on the sub as well, their JJ jalapeño Potato chips were pretty good, one of Odessa premium sub shops, will recommend for carry out or delivery, inside seating is small and crowded so beware of inside dining. read more

The Odessa TX Jimmy John's on 42nd St had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!! We have a family of 10. We made a pick up order and it said the order was ready and so we ran in to get it. Incredibly rude told us that it wasn't ready yet and that she should have canceled it because it was way too big! She made my girls feel terrible and kept rambling on about it all! NEVER going back! It's worth the drive to Midland for their good service! read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. From the second i walked into the store the person that took my order was rude. Then i asked if they could cut my sandwich because the JJ i go to back home in Houston usually does... just because. And he wants to be a jerk and say some statement under his breath. Great Sandwich shop ! The workers are super friendly and lightning fast. They say hello enthusiastically and cheerfully when you walk in and there's always good friendly vibes here. The Club Lulu is definitely my favorite but every sandwich I've tried is delicious. #16 (The Lulu) comes with freshly sliced turkey, bacon, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomatoes. Super tasty. Try the peppers too. Everything is fresh everytime I go. One of my favorite places for lunch in town. read more

The store in Odessa has the worst Customer Service I have ever seen. I work at a hotel in Odessa and noticed that they delivered to many of our guests so I called and they delivered to me as well. Then one day I called and I was told they don't deliver to my area and I explained that they had before. The manager said that for me to call and if they are not busy they may deliver since we are not that far out of their delivery zone. One afternoon I called and this kid who was the acting manager told me that they were not busy but he would not deliver anyway. I said fine I will come get it. When I did I explained to him that one of the other managers had actually told me to call and they may deliver based on how busy the store was. He told me "Our managers would not say that and that they never delivered to my area". I said yes they did...they delivered to me. This kid would not shut up he kept telling me I was wrong. I cannot imagine anyone wanting someone like this to manage their establishment because this kid needs some Customer Service training and alot of it. Today I found out he had me blacklisted from the store. Which is fine I have no problem spending my money elsewhere. I tried to call Jimmy Johns Corporate and they said this store is Franchised and they cant do anything about it. So its all good. Eventually bad Customer Service comes back and bites you on the ass. I am 54 years old and I have never had anything like this happen to me and after reading all the reviews in the Corporate Website I can see I am not the only one. Jimmy Johns must be ok with this sort of attitude from their employees and thats fine but its going to effect their business and this kid will find himself unemployed. read more
