The food and service is always consistent, plus the cleanliness is a plus. We always order through the app so I can stack my 'shore points' (highly recommended) towards free subs. The phillys are ridiculously good and so are any of the cold subs. But the big kahuna takes the win though, and the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak is oddly satisfying too. I have a birthday tradition of going around town hitting up restaurants which offer FREE STUFF on your Birthday (when you sign up for their email). Jersey Mike's offers you a FREE Regular sub and a fountain drink on your special day. I went with a meatball sub and got it "to go". The flavor of the sub was good... the only "issue" was that it was cold by the time I got home. It wasn't wrapped in foil or anything so the heat escaped by the time I returned home. My buddy and I had lunch today. Someone messed up his order and he had to wait an extra 10 minutes but had to keep checking back to see if someone was working on it. No one acknowledged him. The workers were rude. The cook at the grill yelled, "It takes time." One of the ladies didn't say anything, began wrapping the sandwich aggressively and shoved it toward him. He didn't receive any apology for the wait. He was very displeased with the service and it was his first experience at Jersey Mikes which will also be his last. Just finished half of a Jersey Mikes's #13 (giant) Italian hoagie. I was most excellent! It was a near ringer for the large hoagies we used to buy at Nardi's Deli in West Berlin, NJ! I don't typically write reviews of chain restaurants, as I'd much rather beat the drum for locally owned and operated eateries, but when it comes to sandwich shops in Midland, the pickin's, as they say, are slim. A couple of joints have come and gone, and of the few that hung around, about the best that can be said us "Well, at least it's not Subway." So when I was jonesing for a sub a few months back, I tried all the chains that have popped up over the last couple of years. The quality has ranged from "Pretentious and Overpriced" (Pot Belly's) to "Have you Ever Actually Seen a Deli?" (Jason's Deli. Also overpriced.) No one seemed to be really driving in the Sub Shop lane except Fire House and Jimmy John's, both of which can run the gamut of "So-So" to "Not Bad." Then I found Jersey Mike's. First off, this is not a sandwich shop, so get that out of your head right now. This is a straight up Sub Shop specializing in East Coast Italian-American sub sandwiches that this area desperately needed. Subs featuring prosciutto or cappocola (the "Gabbagool" so often referred to in The Sopranos) are found nowhere else. The meats are fresh and delicious, the bread is flavorful, and the service is friendly and fast. But wait! There's more! Jersey Mike's makes the best Philly Cheesesteak I have had since I left the mid-Atlantic region of the US. Juicy beef, flavorful grilled onions and peppers and gooey provolone cheese make this a twice a month at least sandwich. On a low carb diet? Any sandwich on the menu can be made as a "Sub in a Tub," meaning all the toppings are served in a container without bread but otherwise exactly as you ordered it. My Big Kahuna Cheesesteak in a tub (a Philly with extra cheese and jalapeños and mushrooms added) was a delight. One caveat, the shopping center in which Jersey Mike's is located is packed to the rafters with shops and vehicles, so navigating the parking lot can be a trial of the human spirit (There's a special room in Hell for the supply delivery truck drivers who decided to make their stops during the lunch rush, effectively making 2/3 of the parking lot unusable and causing the Greyhound Bus(!) loaded with a collegiate wonen's soccer team to take up the rest.) In short, eat these subs! They're freaking great@ read more

I always come to get a sandwich when I am in town. They don't have Jersey Mike's in my town. Yummy yum!

The place is brand new and even with a line of people out the door they were managing to keep up pace. We got there early (10:50) to avoid the line. Non smoking and super clean. All the staff was friendly and went out of their way to ask how we were and how our day was going. I had the supreme club done Mike's way. It was a good sandwich but in the end it was just an average sammich. It was good enough but nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular. I did think that it was cool that they cut the meat for you right at the counter I give it three stars (a-ok) due to everything being clean and adequate. I am so disgusted right now. I just left Jersey Mike's from having dinner with my kids. Well we didn't even get to finish. I found something in my sandwich that looked just disgusting. If you're celiac, they have gluten free rolls but they cut wheat bread rolls with their gloved hands then touch/cut the rolls of meat, cheese and stick their gluten covered hands in all the veggies.. Also tons of bread crumbs being dropped into the slicer. If you want a gluten free meal go to Jimmy John's, get a lettuce wrap, ask the employee for a glove change and ask for your condiments in the little packages.. no cross contamination and the employees are normally careful not to cross contaminate your food, plus the employees are friendly. The Jersey Mike's I stopped at wouldn't answer the phone as I tried to call ahead of time and see if they had the gluten free rolls, they were also conducting a big meeting with lots of employees outside yet very, very backed up in the store which was frustrating to stand in line quite awhile only to not be able to eat there due to cross contamination. I had the Big Kahuna cheesesteak (plus bacon) delivered - delivery took about 40 mins from placing the order to delivery, the food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious. I'll admit it. I like Jersey Mike's Subs. I used to eat them when I was in Ohio. I was introduced there and they have always been consistent. And that is something that people and I look for. The service here is great. They go out of there way to make sure you get what you want. The long lines are because people are willing to wait for a great thing. I have had to wait. But knowing that it will be great when it hits my mouth. I just stand in line and anticipate. Never been disappointed. Like I said they are consistent. Enjoy. You will be back. read more

First time ever eating at Jersey Mike's and wow what a let down, My opinion is not on the entire company just mainly my sandwich I had. I ordered the 7 inch Grilled Pastrami Rueben taste was just ok mostly because it seemed light on sauce, meat and cheese. I ate inside and watched the cold subs being made and wished I had gotten one of those. They seemed to have double the meat my hot sandwich did. I'll try a cold sub next time. read more

This place has really went down hill. Looks to be miss managed now. No attention to detail. Needs to be cleaned up. Dried up veggies on floor looked to be left over from the night shift. Tables all dirty nothing had been wiped down. Windows are filthy haven't been cleaned in a while. Food was just ok nothing special. Wow!!! I was dissatisfied with all of if. This was a great place to eat when it opened what happened? Understaffed for lunch run and no visible management leadership is now apparent. I'm sure it is affecting the bottom line. I work in the same complex as this location, and so I eat there quite frequently; and I am always greeted with a smile by whoever happens to be working that day. The food is also delicious! I tried the classic Italian (#12) "Mike's Way." The meat and cheese were alright, nothing special. The bread (white) was too dry, too hard, it scrapped on my gums, which is irritating. I'll probably be back to try a hot sandwich at some point, and then I'll write a follow up. read more

Super soft fresh baked bread! You can tell it was made earlier the same day. I ordered the reuben and it was delicious. My wife loved her turkey sandwich. Not the real greasy grilled type you sometimes see, but a simple, fresh, and lean version. We are just in town visiting relatives but would definitely return/recommend! read more

My favorite sandwich shop in Midland. They make great cheesesteaks hot and fresh. Simple quick good service parking lot is a hassle but JM always has spaces in front. Sandwiches here are always fantastic. The ordering system can be awkward during a rush when you order online as you essentially have to cut people in line just to get your order, a designated online/phone pickup area would make things a lot less cluttered here.
