So it's time to grab some lunch for work and I selected this place. It's located in a little strip mall but once inside, it's very clean and quiet. I ordered my go to, the tuna on wheat. I ordered it Mike's way which is lettuce, onions, tomato, and Mike's sauce. I got to work and I couldn't help it and dice into my sammich. OMG, that tuna was delicious and so flavorful, and having it prepared Mike's way is the way to go. Will be back for sure read more

Made a lunch visit to Jersey Mike's in Odessa, this is my fourth visit here and the quality of the subs here never disappoints.I'm going to make this review short and sweet. I went here at noon, there was line however they are very good during the lunch rush, waited only about 4 minutes before ordering and on my way. I ordered the #9 Club Supreme, the deli meats are up to par, they slice the meat and cheese in front of your very own eyes and don't forget to add Mike's Way with their special sauce and spices. Meh. The only reason I decided to eat here was because my cheap ass friend gifted me a gift card with $7.26 for my birthday. I figured "why not?" and headed to this restaurant for lunch the following week. It was good considering I essentially got my meal for free but that aside I would say it was alright. I'd never spend my own money on this place but I wouldn't complain about another free sandwich. It's definitely better than Schlotzkys but I'd stick to Subway. read more

We really had a great experience at Jersey Mike's. The staff were polite and friendly and really took pride in making a good sandwich with plenty of toppings. The meat/cheeses were freshly sliced and the other toppings such as the tomatoes and lettuce were good too. We got the #9 Club and also an Italian sub with pepperoni etc. and also split a meatball. Got the oil and vinegar dressing on the cold subs and it was good and not overpowering. The fountain sodas and cookies were really good as well. Recently I have encountered poor customer service at some other restaurants (step up to the counter and cashier says absolutely nothing, etc.) so to go to a place like Jersey Mike's and just to be treated well by the staff and have food that is made carefully and not just thrown together is a real breath of fresh air. We will definitely come back. The restaurant itself was very clean and modern and is in a brand new shopping center. read more

Is it common practice that Jersey Mike's makes the decision to close early on a Saturday night? We arrived at 8:50pm and the posted hours say they are open until 9:00pm so we figured we made it just in time. Two workers afraid to make eye contact, yelled thru the locked door that they ran out of bread. This is the home of my favorite sandwich, the #17 Philly Cheese Steak on wheat. My wife brought me one for our lunch together on Valentine's Day. It's on the other side of town almost 8 miles from our house and we pass several other sandwich shops to get there, but I'll make the trip to Jersey Mikes in Parks Legado just for that sandwich. The employees are super nice. They even know what I'm going to order the moment they see me walk in. It's nice to be welcomed and appreciated in this restaurant. I've been to this location twice now, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Seriously. Lets start with the logistics of the place. Today when I got in line there were 12-15 people in front of me. A good crowd, but not awful. Still I was worried about being late getting back to work. I arrived at 12:40 and was out the door sandwich in hand by 12:57. Not bad, about a minute a customer. There are faster places, but not many faster sub shops that I can think of. The employees were friendly and efficient, though I think they may have a couple too many hands in the kitchen. Food reviews! The meatball sub. What can I say? It's my go to sandwich and my all time favorite every since I was 12. It might sound crazy but I think Subway's is number one. HOWEVER, Jersey Mikes takes number two and I won't be satisfied I'm right till I do a side by side test. It's nice and meaty, good and cheesy, and has a great sauce. The sauce was layed on a little thick, but that seems to be the schtick here. Maybe a bit sloppy, but totally worth it. The other sandwich I've had is a simple italian style with prosciuttini and cappicollo. Add on hot pepper relish and the vinegar and oil and enjoy. It sits heavy and salty but it's delicious. I can totally see how waiting to eat these would really soggy really fast though. Watching them splash on the condiments made me worry how good the bread was going to be. It held up fine though. The price is ok. Not a great bargain, maybe a tad overpriced in my opinion. A combo would run you about ten bucks and they stick a tip line on the receipt where I don't know that I think it's called for. Overall it's a solid 4/5. First off, I have become a frequent customer. It's just so convenient for me because I literally live down the street.... And for those days where I am tired from work and Rosa's is not an option (which is always- bf hates Rosa's - lol), I go here. The reason for the 5stars? The staff. They are amazing, all have been so friendly and upbeat, they are fast and even with a line I've been able to get out under 10-15 minutes tops.. Love the club sub, and I ask for it mikes way. I do however monitor the amount of vinegar/oil they put because I'm generally not a fan.... if I don't say anything, they can put a lot!!! Anyway, they have options for everyone.... I think it's a good addition to the Odessa food scene.. (I guess you can call it that) and for sure It's definitely a better sandwich alternative to subway.
