The Drinks were on point yesterday. and I don't know if you'd count the shrimp ones or twos but all five were like this and three little chicken tenders which everything was good. I still ate it didn't complain cause truthfully I wasn't really hungry yesterday but some might think this is a rip off for almost $20. The breading on the chicken tenders was amazing though. My husband USED to be a big fan of this place, lives there wings. Well no more. Went in for a quick bite but bumped into friends eating dinner (almost done), they told me to sit. Had 1 beer with them and they paid the bill (including my 1 beer), and I moved to the bar to order dinner. The bartender informed me that she could not serve me because it's company policy to open a new bill for a patron ????? I did not pay the other one. Sherri was absolutely amazing. She gives all the other servers a something to be like. She was intuitive, she was blissful amazing. Never let us go empty on drinks and kept the plates cleaned up. This is in regards to your Odessa restaurant and your unprofessional manager Lanie. My daughter is 24 years old. We came in to celebrate a milestone for her. Her ID is valid in Texas, accepted by the DPS, local law enforcement, AND TABC. But according to your store policy, because her ID is not horizontal she can't drink. I was going to challenge this and have your manager call the local authorities, but I didn't. Your manager however, pulled the drink from her hand after she verified her age and on top of placed her hand on my daughters shoulder. Your policy does not comply with what your competors are doing. It's terrible customer service and my family will not return. Nor will our extended family. Lanie needs more training on customer service and the waitress, whatever her name was, needs a lesson in letting people eat in peace. She was watching us like we were criminals. Again your establishment is doing the wrong thing implimenting store policies like this. The food was also terrible! I will review this store wherever it's possible. In a rare spectacle, I'm going to derive this review as I go, so apologies for the randomness but it's written in real time. This is your typical sports bar layout... Tables, patio dining area, and TVs everywhere. Nothing spectacular. That being said, I typically wait until I conclude a visit of whatever establishment I'm reviewing, but we're going to start out at three stars and see if it gets better. Good inkling, it's probably not going to hit 5. First off, the greeters and bartenders and staff are all really nice, per the norm. I chose open seating at the bar, of course! I ordered my signature cocktail, and got it in a highball which is completely fine. But apparently a second bartender came on and is now covering my half of the bar. I ordered one of THEIR signature cocktails, so please reference the picture. Not too sure I'll order another one. No muddling of ingredients, well, hardly ANY ingredients that comes in a quality cocktail and definitely not what the picture suggests. I started off with fried pickles, again, please reference the picture... But I have to add, whatever sauce is on the left is FIRE. And as I sit here, LITERALLY in front of the bar POS,(POINT OF SALE) with an empty drink, no food, face to face with the bartender, not a gram of recognition or asking me what else I would like. And I will sit here, until then. So as I sit here, I just took a video of both bartenders with their faces buried in their phones. Not just unprofessional, but unsanitary. Times come... Into my next fare...you can reference the picture. I ordered the shotgun Shrimp, on a bed of what I think is thin hash browns? It was pretty decent. Shrimp was cooked good, but could use a bit more flavor complexity. I ordered another "signature"cocktail. The ranch water. I THINK it was made right but not in the right glass from what they advertise. My bartender is off. Let's see how the relief does. The guy taking her place is actually one of 2 people actually busting their ass in here. The other guy, who looks like a Cuban Milli Vanilli, has been like a water spider, just constantly bussing, cleaning, WORKING. Non stop. My FIRST bartender is still here, and considering what I witnessed, it's sort of a conundrum that the back of her shirt says "trainer" (while on her phone with a packed bar/bartops). So I ordered my final course for the night, before the knocks, cRaCkIeS and b0oZeRs come out...and whilst I wait, this guy behind the bar and Milli Vanilli are still handlin binness... TOTAL different work ethic, and same amount of customers as when I came in... I ordered the chipotle pasta...not a carb'er, so hope it's worth it. So my pasta was super super salty. And I'm making my exit now, the guy that bartended for me towards the second half was a lot lot better. Attentive to say the least. This place was teetering on the brink of two stars, but my last bartender brought it back up to three. But two pet peeves. Bartenders on their phone with a packed bar, barbacks busting their asses, and not waitstaff picking up empty glasses. read more

We went to Bubba's just so I could have the bleu cheese burger. The lemonade had to be from a mix. Barely tasted lemon. For $44 you'd think 2 burgers & lemonade would be good. What a disappointment. Food was really good I got some buffalo boneless wings so bomb! Chicken was juicy not dry also got bone in didn't really like but wasn't bad, also got. The texture was bomb but the flavor wasn't buffalo to me and actually tasted like a spicy sweet chili sauce instead. The wings were still good and all will be eaten lol, but they didn't quite hit that "buffalo" spot I'm trying to hit. Soon enough. The interior of Bubba's had good vibes. Very lively and a tv on every wall. Sports bar feel. Good place for a casual date night or hang out spot to watch a game with buddies. It was around 9 pm when I stopped by and the place was full. This place, no matter what location, has always delivered. My experience at this particular location was excellent. The waiter was very attentive. The food was great (I had wings, which were super crispy). One of the managers came to greet us as well. The atmosphere is fun for a weekday lunch break. We like the few things we've eaten at Bubba's. We've had the salads, pizza, burgers, alcoholic beverages, etc. The only issue with the atmosphere is that the music is too loud. So if you're going for conversation, you'll need to talk loud. Or just forget the convo and enjoy the party-type atmosphere. Lol read more

Stopped here while passing through looking for a casual lunch. I was craving a pizza so ordered a margarita pizza. The crust was good but the tomatoes on it were not regular tomatoes, they were cooked and marinated or something and gave an unpleasant taste to the pizza so I would not get it again. Our appetizer, the Bubba Fiesta dip was good though and was more than enough for the three of us. Another of us got the Shrimp po boy. They said the shrimp was good but bread was just ok. In order to make up for it, I was given a dessert complimentary. That was brought 3 minutes after my pizza....no regard to maybe giving me time to eat my meal? Totally oblivious waiter that obviously had something more important to do than come to his almost empty section. Manager was never told an issue existed and was more defensive than apologetic. This would be the second time I have visited Bubba's for a weekend date with my wife and friends. The first time was a few years ago when it had just opened up. Both times we have been so great! I was due for a good cheat meal after dieting for several months so we decided on Bubbas. As an appetizer we chose the fried pickles. Very good choice! They were served with ranch and a homemade bbq/sweet sauce that was delicious! I ordered 2 burger meals with fries (the sunshine and avocado burger). Both were mouth watering and tasted very fresh. Portion size was also a plus with their burgers being somewhat big and the order of fries was plenty. I highly recommend any of these two. Dessert was even better. The Oreo turtle pie with ice cream was covered in chocolate & caramel syrup. I couldn't of asked for a better cheat meal with the e company of my wife and friends! I highly recommend Bubbas & will very likely be coming here for more cheat meals in the future! read more

Had a great experience!! We had a party of 9 and sat on the enclosed patio! They turned the heaters on but we ended up being very comfortable so we had them turn the heaters off. Our server was named Dapper and he was amazing!!! He handed our large party and another table that was at least doubled in size like a champ! I can only give this location 2 starts..chicken strips were over cooked and dry, my husband's steak was supposed to be medium well, he got it medium rare, took forever to get our food and our waitress was horrible..didn't ask if we needed refills on our drinks, offer to go cups, or see if we needed a to go plate for our leftovers...when you pay with a card..THEY MAKE YOU LEAVE A TIP!!
