We were visiting Odessa from out of town and went to Mi Piaci after checking Yelp. We were glad we did! Our hostess greeted us and seated us promptly. Our waitress was top notch, answering questions and making suggestions. The food, beginning with their homemade rolls, was enjoyed by one and all. This is strictly a pizza review. It's a bit pricey, but the pizza is huge and came with soooooo many toppings. I give it 4 stars because the dough in the middle wasn't cooked all the way due to the amount of toppings. It is still one of the better places to get pizza in town though. Mi Piaci's is amazing. Everything about this Italian spot is on point. The decor is fun and cozy, the booths are intimate, there is space for large parties, they have it all. Our waitress (Alaina) was attentive and helpful. I tried the Steak Mi Piaci ribeye - this is a flavor I have missed my whole life. White wine sauce with cream, sautéed onions and spinach, with mushrooms and veggies and penne next to a perfectly seasoned steak. I will be back. You should visit too. read more

This family-owned restaurant has nice ambiance (not obvious from the exterior). The menu is huge with something for everyone, including many vegetarian options. Service was excellent. The food was very good but not outstanding. The portions of everything are huge. For two of us, they brought enough bread for 4-6. The side salad covered a dinner plate. The entree could serve 3 with moderate appetites. I see this as a negative with lots of waste. You may see it as a positive with lots to eat. Just FYI I would return. read more

Never I'm my life have I been treated so bad at a restaurant. They proceeded to tell my hu he was being loud with a private conversation when he was not. It's because we were sat at the very front table. Then when the waitress came over she was so rude. We confronted her and she was still rude. Then we asked for the manager and told her we were treated inappropriate. We paid our bill and proceeded outside. They followed us out and started talking ugly and then flipped us off as we were leaving. Super unprofessional. So disappointed. read more

Excellent food! Extraordinary service! If you leave Mi' Piaci' hungry, you simply didn't eat everything on your plate - their portions are HUGE!!! You always get your choice of a big bowl of soup or salad, plus all of the bread you can eat (take my advice a get the Hot Oil & Garlic with your bread). My wife and I have been eating at Mi' Piaci' ever since it opened, nearly 20 years ago, and as long as Casey and her family owns and runs the place, we'll be going back for another 20 years. read more

Restaurant is simply decorated, not fancy. Large selection on the menu. I had a soup, was a little spicy but good. It was served with a small teaspoon, It would have been easier to eat with a larger utensil. Bread is served to the table. Meals came out quickly, I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and my friend had chicken parmigiana. Both were oversized portions, served on top of a large plate of spaghetti--we could have shared one meal. Restaurant does not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own. This is my third outing at this restaurant and they don't disappoint. The food tastes great with no problems whatsoever. The flavor in each bite is amazing no matter what item you decide to get. The outstanding point of interest is the bread. Its better than any other bread i've had in other restaurants. The food portions are big enough for leftovers, so be very hungry when you go there otherwise you will go home with two boxes minimum. The ambience seems very '80s - '90' style which i don't mind at all. There are nice paintings hanging around the entire restaurant from various parts of Italy which are nice. The people in service are very nice and dont mind minor alterations for serveral dishes. They are patient and very responsive whenever they're attention is called when something is missing or needed. Keep in mind every time I've gone it seems a pretty slow day. My only issue is that an outing here can be on the expensive side for around 30-45 dollars per person. Overall the food is bursting with flavor, and the service is great. The vibes are cool and dining there is a must If you like Italian food. read more

Absolute despicable and disgusting to have been treated so disrespectfully in a restaurant establishment.. In all my years of working, managing, and enjoying restaurants all over the world, i never thought I'd see the day where servers and managers would do such an outrageous act.. We were having an amazing time on our Thursday night- food was amazing- however during our conversation- me and my wife were talking about something in private about other people- not even us, and a little girl server that was not taking care of us, decided to say we were being inappropriate.. I was actually very shocked, so I said excuse me let me speak to your manager, this is not ok.. I then proceeded to manager, and explained to the manager that I didn't appreciate being confronted in such a rude way from someone that wasn't even a part of my table or serving me- and the manager then started arguing with my wife .. At this point, I'm in total disbelief because me and my wife are known and respected in establishments like this in the odessa/ midland area . So at this point I am like really seeing i will have to contact ownership and leave a review- i walk out the door and 4 servers as well as that same manager walk outside flipping us off, which i have pictures of by the way- and will be forwarding to the proper resources.. It's a shame and I do like this place, but after this disrespectful tirade I definitely will not be back, and neither will my family and wife ... This was the worst i have ever seen and I am still in shock ..An establishment should never have that kind of immaturity and should be managed properly... read more

In Odessa for work and my coworker and I wanted to go out for dinner. She wanted Italian so we found this wonderful restaurant on Google. She saw some reviews on Yelp and figured that this was a good place to try. Boy was she right! Everything from the service to the food was absolutely wonderful. Our server showed up with the rolls in hand to take our drink order. She happily accommodated us with the Arnold Palmer's we ordered and made them look absolutely amazing. Sorry I didn't take a pic of that. Then she came back for our appetizer order and our dinner order to which everything came out exactly the way we wanted it and it was piping hot! Everything tasted delicious, everything well seasoned, and large portions to where now I get to relive the experience again for my lunch. It's a shame that this place does not have a location in Fort Worth where I work because this is definitely worth a revisit. read more

We came here for a graduation party on Sunday for my nephew Cole, we sat down and weren't attended to until like 15 minutes after we arrived another 10 to wait for a drink of water and another 10 minutes to order. The food itself took more than an hour to come out even though the restaurant was slow at the time and we had made reservations as well to not blindside them. The food finally comes out and the waiter drops lobster ravioli on my shirt and pants. I didn't want to make a scene so I took it in stride and asked if I could have a discount or something for the bad service the waiter who's name was "Savannah" just laughed and said I tried and then just charged me full price without apologizing or trying to make things right, such disrespect. We had our work Christmas party here and had made a reservation days in advance. The reservation was at 7:30PM. By then, the majority of the party was present. We had to wait until 8PM to get our table. There was another big party seated next to us and they were seated maybe 5 mins after us. We didn't even know who our server was and we had been seated a while already. Needless to say we were getting very irate by this time. I ordered the lobster Ravioli and the server recommended I get the soup. They brought us out some rolls and water, glasses so we could enjoy our BYOB drinks... Now I realize my first mistake was thinking I would get LOBSTER Ravioli in Odessa, TX. It was a great serving of big Ravioli - about 5 cheese ravioli. And a lot of IMITATION CRAB! What in the world?! Let's get this straight. The food tasted great! BUT if you're going to tell me I'm getting lobster, there better be some lobster in there! Not an ounce of it. Of course I was already ticked off by the delay to be seated and attended to... then this LIE! And then to top it off, I never got my soup! Again, the food here tastes great. The rolls alone make it worth the trip. They really need to work on their service though - and maybe renaming their menu items. read more

First time going to Mi Piaci was an incredible experience. Our server was so attentive and patient. He started us off with ample bread and made sure we always had enough to drink. Our food was served quickly and fresh!! My children enjoys the "small" cheese pizza and let me tell you.... That small could have fed all 4 of us nicely!!! My husband and I each had the calzone!!! We came here for a Sunday dinner, 30 mins before closing. When we walked in the restaurant, the hostess gave us a look like "Oh great, we are about to close." Then she greeted us and showed us to a table. My hun ordered Tour of Italy - which comes with lasagna, alfredo fettucini and chicken parmesan and a slice of cheese pizza. I had a tortellini soup and he had a house salad. The soup was okay, nothing special about it. I ordered the Chicken Mi Piaci...it was delicious. The food came out really fast. The slice of cheese pizza was huge! The garlic bread they give you look like cinnamon buns, it was okay. Overall, we enjoyed our meal...was full and had left overs!
