Great service and fantastic food! We were visiting from out of town and our hotel clerk recommended Bubba's 33 in Odessa to us. We arrived at about 6:45 p.m. on a Sunday night and only had to wait about five minutes to get seated. The place was busy but our waiter tended to us quickly and frequently. They have a lot of TV's playing various channels (not only sports too) so you can watch many things while you wait for your food to be prepared. They even had one playing music videos for the songs being played. My wife ordered a bacon guacamole burger and I ordered the Signature ribeye steak. Both meals tasted excellent and were filling. I did tell my waiter that my steak had a lot of fat on it. The manager Danny came over often to ensure we were fully happy, and ordered me a new steak. He even comp'ed me for it, which he did not have to. Therefore, I gave a big tip to our waiter for the great service by all their staff. By the way, the signature steak is marinated in expresso coffee overnight. I did not taste the coffee flavor per se, but it did taste fantastic. I highly recommend going to this Odessa restaurant. I had a guacamole burger with onion rings and Bubba sauce. My fiancee had their chicken strips and shrimp. The chicken was pretty tender and the shrimp tasted great. The burger was amazing. Visited this establishment on a fine Tuesday afternoon. We entered and were quickly seated. We ordered their famous for pizza and for an appetizer the chorizo chips and Queso which was pretty good not as it was made to be. Our server was very attentive and made sure our needs were met. Now for the pizza, it was crisp, fresh and delicious filled with moist mozzarella cheese and generous meat lovers topping. We experience an unfortunate incident where our waitress accused us of stealing a picture off the wall. We were celebrating our son's birthday and had brought in a one-off wall art featuring Fire Department and US flag and presented to our son who is a first responder for Odessa FD. It was wrapped and opened at the table. Once we competed our meal, we were outside visiting and a manager came outside and without saying a word took the art that was sitting on a bench between our grand son and daughter and was in process of taking the art back into restaurant. I immediately instructed her that was not theirs to take retook possession. My wife and daughter in law demanded an explanation and we receive notice that the waitress stated we took the art from the wall. We requested to see the area on the wall it was supposedly taken with zero response. The wrapping paper was on the table along with receipt stating a complementary ice cream for a birthday. We received zero apologize and instructed the manger that she was the only one stealing. This occurred 7/8/24 at approximately 7:30PM. If Bubbas wished to take this further, I have the receipt where it was purchased on 6/1/24 in San Angelo. We also left a substantial tip which was not earned. Thoughts of canceling the payment but this was not Bubbas establishment fault but two very untrained employees on business ethics. read more

This is the second time we have been here in the last two weeks. We are from out of town and have been trying a number of places. The food is hot and fresh and very tasty! The service was outstanding with two of the friendliest servers we have had lately!!!!! Highly recommend trying this restaurant. Be sure to try the shotgun shrimp appetizer and their onion rings! Bubba's 33 is good for what you get. Normally when I go there I get the bread rolls which I do love, and then anything from a pizza to a burger. Nothing that gonna make your jaw drop but it's a solid place to go eat and I always have a good time. Plus the margaritas there are good and that's always a plus for me! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed an order online for curbside pickup. I get there and text them like the information given to me said to do. 10 minutes go by no response, no one coming out to my car. So I call and they finally bring me my order 15 minutes after I already parked. By the time I get home, which is quite close to this location, my food was cold and the tater tots I got were old. So I returned with my food and asked for a refund. They gave me some song and dance that it takes a week for me to get a refund!?! That is absurd, if you don't want to do your job then just say so. This place had a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I went with a friend and my baby and I have to say that even though they got my order wrong twice and I ended up eating something other than what I ordered I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would absolutely go back again. The staff were also very good to my one year old son. Not just tolerant of him but friendly and playful with him and that made me a very happy customer. It is not often that a restaurant is so above average on every other aspect that a customer would highly recommend them (even rate them ) when they got the order wrong TWICE and never actually got it right. I usually get their hawaiian burger or bone in wings My only issue is the waitresses can get a bit annoying if they want to you to keep buying beer.
