We wanted to find a place to catch some college football. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich. It was tender with great flavor. My Wife had the Crispy Chicken Salad. It had plenty of Chicken and she loved the freshness of the salad. We also Tried the Onion Rings and Fried Mushrooms. Both were fresh and hand battered. The batter was perfectly seasoned. Ordered the cheese steak and it was amazing! The staff went above and beyond! I was with an elderly and handicapped lady and they brought our order out to us, and offered to get us refills on our drinks! This place was okay. I remember eating at the ones in Lubbock and they were better. To me it is over priced for a burger since my husband and I spent over $40 for two burgers, the half and half and a milk shake. The hamburgers are pretty good but we had two issues. 1) They do not filter the water so the tea takes likes salt water. This must be the only place to eat in Midland that does not filter their water. 2) My wife's chicken salad was not eatable. The chicken was so rubbery that it really made us wonder how old was that chicken. Get the hamburgers and take it home. read more

Food is expensive, but below average quality. We have been here 3 times just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but each time it is disappointing. Also we are not big soda or tea drinkers so we get water 99% of the time we go out and the water is very clearly unfiltered midland water. It was gross and cloudy from the soda machines, which makes me think that is the same unfiltered water they use for the rest of the drinks you just can't taste it because of the flavoring. Disappointed. Dropped off package at UPS and realized I forgot ice for my puppy getting out of doggy camp. Stopped in and asked to buy a large cup of ice- a dollar in hand - 3.29 I was told. I repeated my question- I would like to buy a cup if ice only- not a drink. Manager came over- his POS system didn't have a button for a dollar or anything similar. I brought the cheese sticks basket to the manager after discovering the hair after my first bite, and she told me they would make a fresh batch for me. Have been to Blue Sky several times and the food has always been good. Today upon entering we were not greeted by anyone and the cashier Madison seemed to hate life, her job and annoyed to have to take our order. That right there set the tone for our dining experience today. Place was busy but drink station was not very clean and while our table was just clean it was unkempt throughout the place. We received our food fairly quickly and got to our table hot. Husband had a mushroom Swiss and I a Texas Cheesesteak. Both were ok but I had envisioned my cheese steak on more of a roll and not a burger bun with sliced American cheese. I will go again and hope that next time my experience is a bit better. I would like to note we did tell a manager of our ordering experience and he did say he would talk with the girl he stated they all were a bit frazzled but she shouldn't show it to the customers. read more

This is the second time I've visited Blue Sky. The first time I enjoyed a great burger and was very impressed with the homemade fries and such a large variety of things on the menu. The second time I visited I decided to try their chili dogs. We love this place!! The best burger in town if you as us. The sides are excellent, and they have many to choose from. I always get the Greek salad, and it does not disappoint. The salads are huge!
