We decided to try it out for dinner and we were impressed. The interior was very open and tasteful, but it is a little loud. We sat inside, but they have a large patio if the weather allows. We had the shrimp tacos and the mole as well as the tuna stack appetizer. The food was great! The service was amazing! It is on the high end for pricing.

    Beware cocktail prices, way overpriced!

Greeted and sat down immediately within arrival. Waiter was nice, took our drink order and gave us time to decide. Appetizer was tasty and entrees as well. Shocked by the bill due to drinks prices. Would go back for food but no cocktails!

Food was great and came back at a very reasonable time. Service was great as well, server spoke Spanish and she was very welcoming . We went for brunch and music was fun to have a good time. Would definitely come back ! I chose the chicken Caesar salad and a regular mimosa .

Not Tex Mex and I love that. This is my third trip to Providencia. My first trip was the dinner menu and the other two times were for lunch. In a town filled with Tex Mex restaurants it's nice to have another choice. My family has been working through the menu trying something new every time. The exception is the Jalapeños de Neme as they are always ordered. Addictive! Every cocktail has been carefully crafted and delicious. Today, I had the tempura fried mahi fish tacos. I have had a lot of fish tacos in my life and these were some of the best. The batter was light and airy and not dense. My husband had the braised short rib tacos and loved them. If you are a big eater, the portion might seem small, but we are always so full before we leave that I know the portions are how they should be. You won't find things covered in cheese like you do at some Tex Mex place. The food is more bright, simple and fresh. The lunch menu has three salad choices that aren't typical. There's a quinoa and veggie salad, a roasted beet salad and a Tijuana Caesar with choice of protein. Give it a try. Keep your attitude open for something unfamiliar. You might find a new favorite.

Overly priced. Mediocre food/service. Website is deceiving. Patio could use a facelift.

Pretty poor quality for the price and the hype. I had the Wagyu Burger, ordered medium, with the…read moreparmesan fries. The burger basically came out charred well done. Parts of it were immensely dry and overcooked. It did have a nice sauce on it, though, to compensate. The Parmesan fries looked like they grabbed 3 shreds of cheese from an HEB shredded cheese bag and threw it on top of frozen fries. The service was surprisingly slow given how few people were there. There was maybe 3 tables seated inside and one outside. We came in at 11:30am on a Thursday and had to ask for the ticket to ensure we could get out in time. Overall, a disappointing experience and price for a restaurant that was hyped up.

The decor was very pretty. Also lighting was great, enough to see but not super bright which can ruin dinner night out. Our waitress was quick to come introduce herself and take drink order while setting us up with water. We ordered two different glasses of wine and it took a while before they came. We had the crab appetizer which was average. For our entrees we went with Chicken and Steak. Then we waited and waited. They had the whole place fully booked and over flowing with people. Either they took to many reservations or just let way too many other tables be seated! When our meal finally came out my meal was cold and the other entree was barely warm. Steak had no flavor and the chicken was overcooked and very salty. The concept of this place is amazing but execution needs lots of work. Hope they figure it out but I doubt we will be back for those prices and service. Unfortunately our waitress was great and the bartenders seemed like they were doing everything they could to keep up.

The bread plate sounds so simple, but was one of our favorites! No idea what's in the cheese spread, but it's phenomenal!

I will say that I was pretty impressed with the food and especially the service but there were still some things that kept me from giving it a perfect score. First off, the service was impeccable. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and sat promptly. My customers that I was taking out arrived a bit later because I was early but I was still provided with water and not bothered. An additional customer came so we had to move tables and it was done promptly and professionally. We were helped without it being overwhelming. Great job! The food was good and well-prepared. I ordered the roasted salmon and it was cooked very well with a crispy skin, the asparagus and brussel sprouts were salted well and cooked just right, the only complaint on the taste is that I wish there was a bit more jalapeño sauce and that it was spicier. It had no kick to it at all. My main overall reason for taking a star off is that the prices are definitely too high compared to the offering. Was the salmon dish good? Yes. But was it $39 without tax and tip good? Not really. Overall, I recommend this place to impress a date or to take a customer where conversation can be had easily with a nice atmosphere.
