The GM Gabrielle was our most gracious server. I chose to have orange juice that was perfect in flavor. The 3 Tacos and some heavenly flan cake shared with my 2 friends at the table. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately we left disappointed. We waited over an hour for our food and never received it. It also wasn't very busy, which made the wait even more confusing. I completely understand that delays can happen, and our waitress was incredibly kind throughout the whole experience. She wasn't the issue at all, and I truly felt bad because she was doing her best. After waiting over an hour, I went to find the manager and politely asked if it would be okay to just cancel our order. Instead of apologizing for the wait, he responded, "Okay... I don't know where you're sitting, so I don't know what you're even talking about." After I told him where we were sitting, he simply said, "Okay, it's taken care of," and waved us off. There was no apology or acknowledgment that we had just waited over an hour without ever getting our food. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service is what makes the difference. A simple apology or even just showing a little empathy would have completely changed how we left feeling. Instead, we walked out feeling like we were an inconvenience. Food was mediocre, we went for Father's Day and my eggs were dry, but edible. Wife had the Cesar with chicken and she enjoyed hers. This is where the shock came in... We ordered 2 Johnny Margaritas and they were so good we ordered 2 more. There wasn't any pricing on the menu so we assumed roughly $20 a piece, worth it at that price. We decided to try it out for dinner and we were impressed. The interior was very open and tasteful, but it is a little loud. We sat inside, but they have a large patio if the weather allows. We had the shrimp tacos and the mole as well as the tuna stack appetizer. The food was great! The service was amazing! It is on the high end for pricing. read more

Not Tex Mex and I love that. This is my third trip to Providencia. My first trip was the dinner menu and the other two times were for lunch. In a town filled with Tex Mex restaurants it's nice to have another choice. My family has been working through the menu trying something new every time. The exception is the Jalapeños de Neme as they are always ordered. Addictive! Every cocktail has been carefully crafted and delicious. Today, I had the tempura fried mahi fish tacos. I have had a lot of fish tacos in my life and these were some of the best. The batter was light and airy and not dense. My husband had the braised short rib tacos and loved them. If you are a big eater, the portion might seem small, but we are always so full before we leave that I know the portions are how they should be. You won't find things covered in cheese like you do at some Tex Mex place. The food is more bright, simple and fresh. The lunch menu has three salad choices that aren't typical. There's a quinoa and veggie salad, a roasted beet salad and a Tijuana Caesar with choice of protein. Give it a try. Keep your attitude open for something unfamiliar. Pay attention: server yesterday sets a bowl of guacamole on our table after friend ordered an entree. We didn't order it, but believed it went w her meal. It ended up on another girls bill and when pressed he said no one ordered it. So we specifically asked "so you'll set something on the table, gauc, dessert, etc., and if we didn't order it we need to ask you to take it away?" Yes ma'am was the answer. Way too expensive for the amount of food. I did enjoy my beef wagu tacos but my husband did not enjoy his fish at all. He told the server that he did not like the sauce all over it but he did not offer to get him something else. Bottom line... there's NO way my husband and I should have paid $70 for just 2 meals. Staff was good! (Which these days good help is a rarity!) The queso fundido was excellent and enough for a meal for two nearly! My husband had seafood enchiladas and he says he would not order it again. I had the chili rellano and asked to add chicken. The chicken came on the side and it was pretty dry. I'm sad to say not my favorite chilli rellanos by a long shot. But they had a ton of cheese...which I'm not a big fan of lots of cheese so there's that. Very overrated and over priced. Atmosphere and ambience was nice but very loud making it uncomfortable. We were greeted and seated in a timely fashion and our waiter was professional and courteous. The food came out way too fast and both entrees were served warm at best. The food was uneventful and very bland and by the time we got to the third enchilada they were cold. I was not impressed and for three drinks and two enchilada plates we were charged $113. Definitely do not recommend. read more
