We stopped in about 30 minutes before closing, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. The staff didn't rush us at all and let us take our time enjoying dinner. Oscar was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and great to chat with. We tried the enchiladas, rice, soup, salmon, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was delicious and fresh. The only minor note is that the shrimp cocktail was a little heavy on the sauce and light on the shrimp, but it still had great flavor. This is one of our favorite spots in midland, for brunch or tacos! It's always a wait for brunch, so getting there early helps. Our best server has been Madison (I'm really hoping that's her name, she's taller with dark medium/long hair I'm guessing in her 20's) But my husband and I agreed she was the most on point server we've had in all of midland or Odessa! We enjoyed our Saturday morning brunch here. They open at 9am and we arrived shortly thereafter and they already had a decent crowd. I understand why they are popular place: Food was good quality and a great price, the service was good, and the patio seating area was expansive and enjoyable. Nothing special, but nothing awful. Beer wasn't ice cold but the mixed drinks were done well. Ordered some tacos but had to eat them with the fork. They just lay the four tacos covering each other and then just pour the ingredients over all four. I guess I could have tried to roll them up like a giant burrito or something but just telling ya what to expect. All in all, there is a lot of better places to eat in midland, but there's also prolly alot worse. read more

I am upgrading my review because the wait staff was pretty good. For the food a -1. I ordered the fajita chicken quesadilla. What happened to the chicken? You could not find a piece larger than a dime and you had to dig for it. My wife's beef taco had no taste. The beans look liked they came out of a can and the rice was white like you might get at a Chinese restaurant. What the heck? Oh, and the chips did have flavor, just like old vegetable oil. We came here for a last minute dinner plan. The patio is super cute. However it was extremely hot so we sat inside. The inside does not compare to the patio lol. The server was very sweet and great however service was slow. The skinny margarita was great. The watermelon margarita was the best one I've had hands down. I don't try many flavored ones however this one didn't taste like syrup. Which normally to me flavored ones tend to taste like syrup. This place deserves its 5 stars! For an appetizer we ordered the pickle fries and they were SO GOOD. They came out fresh and hot (see photo top left corner; we devoured them before getting a decent photo). You get that perfect crunch and just the right amount of pickle. We all stuck to the Mexican food part of the menu and were happy we did! I got the cheese enchiladas with the red sauce and I had no regrets. Came here and decided to order the nachos because that's my favorite food in the world and I would assume Texas would know how to do this correctly. I don't think I could have been more wrong. Let me preface this review by saying I'm quite a nacho snob and I'll order nachos anywhere if they're on the menu. I don't care if I'm at a 3 Michelin star pasta place in Rome - if you offer nachos I'm going to order them. They offered nachos so I picked the chicken nachos. I guess they have two kinds of chicken so I let the server pick which chicken option she prefers. Apparently cat food style chicken it is. This chicken tasted like it came out of a can and had a hint of fish flavor to it. Unfortunately, this was a highlight of the nachos. Unlike normal nachos which cover a plate, these nachos form a circle of chips and cheese surrounding a bowl of the remaining toppings. The chips were soggy which is always a not so nice touch. Included in the bowl of toppings was jalapenos from a jar, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and a generous portion of lettuce. I don't know why people think nachos need lettuce - this is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. Overall these nachos were awful. They might honestly be the worst I've ever had - and I've had nachos in Asia, Australia, and Europe. If you're looking for something really disgusting at an above average price, make sure to order these nachos. If you're like anyone else stay away at all costs. 3 day old chips and cheese from Taco Bell would make a better order of nachos - by a lot. read more

Weekend lunch with my daughters, (first time her, as The Patio) it was bustling with activity! We had to wait awhile for a table. Once seated the servers were prompt and very good, they brought chips and salsa, we augmented it with an order of quest. I ordered the tacos al pastor (street sized), my daughters ordered enchiladas and quesadillas. We didn't wait long either. Our drinks didn't go dry either. This is our new favorite spot! I really hope it stays around! Larry and Marie are our favorite bartenders and they give great service. West Coast Tyler is a great server if you're at a regular table. Haven't tried everything but everything we've tried has been wonderful. The only negative is they are a tad over priced but the food is worth it. And I do think they should add some more food items to the menu. But overall, love the place! read more

Love this place, great food and drinks! Only minor downfall is service can sometimes be a little slow.

Visited for dinner and we were impressed. Ordered guacamole and chips and it was freshly made and very good. Hubby had the Texas Red beer and reported it was cold and good. Everything was clean and all patrons seemed happy. We split the beef fajita plate and had enough for two fajitas which is all we wanted and it was so Good! Very flavorful and fresh, hot food.
