Came in on a Saturday after comicon at the horseshoe.. greeted right away.. there was only one guy taking orders and tending to the bar. Even though he was solo he was still attentive. I had the salt and pepper wings. Very juice and well done. The fries weren't so bad either. Lots of TVs inside for your viewing pleasure. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Best wings in Midland/Odessa. Not even close. Perfectly fried and crispy. Buffalo sauce is GREAT and has the appropriate amount of butter in it and not just hot sauce. Gyoza was shockingly good and crispy as well. Will absolutely be coming back here. read more

The establishment felt dirty, our feet kept sticking to the floor ( gross). The food is on the pricey side. The wings and fries were tasty. We had naked wings w/ sauces on the side, our sauces were the parm/garlic(did not like that one) the ranch was yummy, the mango habanero was on the spicy side and we also got the Korean spice one and that was yummy. It was like $24 for the wings and they don't really serve you there ( they take your order and then drop off your food and that's the full extent of the service. So we tipped $5.00 and on the receipt was actually a suggestion to raise our tip amount, like.... Really?? I felt 18% was fine for that level of interaction. They advertise that they have tv for sports but never turned and of the 6 on!! It's a one timer for us. read more

Food is mediocre for the price. We spent $80 for 24 wings & two fries. Better food locally for the price.

Great wings, fries, and noodles. Food always comes out hot and fast! Bar could use some work but overall a great choice.

We were hesitant to try this place based on recent reviews but it ended up being really good. A/C did say 79 but they had fans going to help. Mexi Cali Fries were delish, BBQ tenders were yummy & the wings were cooked just as requested. Bar service was busy but bartender poured generously. It is on the pricey but it was worth it. Quiet atmosphere, perfect for conversation read more

Amazing wings! Great service and a good ambiance inside. I got the salt and pepper wings and truffle fries. My family got the Buffalo hot wings and there fries everything was fresh and delicious. After, seeing a post about another wing place the comments recommended fat birds instead and after doing some research we had to try and they did not disappoint. Completely recommend. read more

Fat Birds Wing Bar - Salt and pepper wings, truffle fries, and Buffalo hot wings. - Asian Fusion Near Me - Midland, Texas

Hubby and I went out to Fat Birds for lunch. We walk in with no waiting line. Took a little while for someone to come take our order (which we understand due to the helped wanted sign on the door) We were surprised at the cost of the wings pretty expensive for just two of us (+$40) Fries and a drink are separate and all we got was drinks. Hubby ordered the 5 spice and Cajun dry rub. I ordered the Seoul St and Garlic Parm sauced. We waited roughly 30 mins and finally got our wings. We were expected yummy perfection with the price. 5 Spice- bland Cajun- good Garlic Parm-not my fav missing flavor Seoul St-sticky, sweet, spicy Overall it was a decent lunch, we just wanted more flavors and maybe a better dry rub selection. My suggestion is when you are busy keep your staff off the phone. I can't tell you how many times someone would be needing something and the front of house people were on their phones. read more

I have absolutely no complaints about this place. I entered during an evening rush, and my order was taken immediately. I sat down and waited for a friend to show up, who was already on his way. My food arrived before he did. I was impressed to say the least. One of the things that sets this place apart from other wing places is the pride they take in their presentation. The wings are neatly organized and garnished instead of just throwing them together in a bowl and tossing them on your plate. The price point was fair, and I have no reason to not return or to be even slightly apprehensive about recommending this place. Well done. read more

Food was good. Nice upfront but the bathroom was disgusting. The door was so gross I didn't want to touch it. It reeked of urine and had urine all over the seat. Clean up front. Awful in the back read more

Large portions. Flavored nicely, not too spicy. Great sides and excellent service. Affordable pricing.

Bomb ass wings, and they were huge compared to BWW or other places. A lot of cool and unique flavors.I didn't think the pricing was too much. Friendly servers. Cool bar. Clean place. Definitely new wing place in Midland. 10/10 would recommend! read more

So nothing is wrong with these wings but because it's a little pricey I most likely won't be back. For 8 wings it was $13 plus $4 for a tiny thing of fries. We did take out and the wings were still good but the fries were gross and soggy. The staff was very friendly and the place looked clean when I went in to grab my order. read more

In my opinion the best wings in Odessa / midland area. The wings aren't over cooked and the staff is really nice

We had such a great experience here. Definitely does not feel like you're in midland. Full bar and plenty of options on the menu. All the sauces are house made and you can tell. We had lemon pepper wings, Buffalo (hot) and the Satay, which is a savory peanut sauce. Also a order of the sour cream and onion fries and the sweet Thai chili fries. Awesome stuff. They don't have a drink menu yet but can make any cocktail you ask them. Can't wait to make this a weekly spot. read more

Great wings. Good bar with a TV set. Good service. All is thumbs up. All positive.

Chicken sandwich was overcooked, obviously deep fried in over used grease! The Thai chicken wing sauce was gritty, and gross! Way overpriced for such a horrible meal! Two 12 piece wings, a chicken sandwich, shared some mexi cali fries, and three drinks for over $83? I had to stand up at a register for the service, and still had the nerve to request a tip? Watching the NCAA tournament was ok, but you had the same game on all six tv's! As for the decor, it was just tv's! I'm never eating there again! read more

Just moved to midland and wasn't expecting an excellent place like this! Great prices, awesome food and great costumer service. Dining atmosphere was comfortable and we felt very welcomed! Will return 100% read more

Wanted to try this place for a while. Ordered the wings first, then decided to add the hot Cheetos Mac and cheese, garlic noodles, and the egg rolls. Saved most of the wings for lunch the next day, but I was impressed. The wings were perfect. Not dry, not over crispy. Lots of sauce and didn't have to order extra. The egg rolls were the best I've had in the basin. Fantastic flavor. The Mac and cheese was everything I wanted it to be and the hot Cheetos dust just added to it. The staff were amazing. They were so nice and friendly. Really was surprised at the atmosphere of the place. Sports on the TVs, beer on tap, great food and service. Definitely will go back. read more

Great food! Honestly the best wings in Midland. Egg Rolls are a must try. Fries are hit or miss and think this is because they are rushed out first. Could use a little more time in the fryer. Only change is bigger glasses. read more

Food quality The wings are good but only to a extent. It takes almost an hour for the wings. They always put too much sauce on the wings as well, as well as too much pepper. The setting is okay I mean you have windows and some cool ass music Playing. The price of the wings tho are Insane. I don't think anyone should have to pay nearly $80 to eat 6 drum legs. read more

I liked the appetizers here and have tried nearly all of them. Great music and laid back atmosphere. Bartenders are great and drinks were really good! Nice place for a casual date night. Fair pricing as well. read more

Beyond frustrating experience. Went in not expecting much but some sort of decency since they had 4.4 stars but they gave us the completely wrong order for starters. No big deal they gave us the correct order after it was addressed. We proceed to eat then my boyfriend notices a hair in his food. We make sure it's not ours and notify the staff. They gave us a refund of $13 and some change. Staff was nice but I felt that this could've been handled better. read more

Decent food but not amazing. Wings are ok but sauce selection is lacking. My husband gets the wings and I get the tenders and my tenders are dry and tough without fail every time we have been there. Overall it is overpriced for ok-ish food. We went 4 times before deciding it's just not really worth returning. read more

Had the Insane hot and garlic parmesan flavors. Both really good. The heat will definitely clear up your sinuses. Worth it though! If you're a wing person, hit this place up. read more

Man the bartenders are amazing! Excellent service and overall a great experience. I would highly recommend

Food was good, the Mexi Cali fries were my favorite. Mango habanero is spicy, the Aloha was salty but the ranch balanced it out, garlic parm was the least favorite because of the lack of seasoning. The Nashville hot sandwich was little, no spice, and needed some more sauce, not worth $8. Garlic noodles were amazing! They should designate a outside smoking area, away from the door; we walked in and out inhaling second hand smoke which wasn't appreciated, some of the smokers looked to have been employees. read more

Actually some of the bast wings in town. The sides are pretty tasty as well. My favorite is the garlic noodles but the fries and pot stickers are really good too read more

Wings are great, best in town in my opinion. A few things keep me from returning though. First I have called in orders several times, the person can never hear me over the phone due to the fact music is blaring in the background. Every time upon arrival, there is only maybe one person there with music blaring right over the register but not in the rest of the place. I don't understand why they would put a speaker over the register, it is much quieter when you sit down at a table. Second, they have cici's style cups, so if you want normal size to go cups, or even a lid, you've come to the wrong place. Thirdly, how do you have a wing place with no napkins on the tables. Yes you heard right, NO NAPKINS ON TABLES. Absolutely insane. You must go grab them one at a time from a single napkin dispenser beside the coke machine. There is no way this manager has eaten wings before. Lastly, they serve ranch & blue cheese in small little cups not even big enough to dip any type of wing in. If you want to use it, you have to pour dipping sauce on your wings. P.s. you can probably get rid of the girl standing behind the bar hunched over on her phone for the entire time I was in the restaurant multiple times. read more

Great wings and tenders if you like them big and crispy. Variety of flavors and I can recommend the Aloha and Sweet Thai Chili. My guy loves the lemon pepper. All the sides we have tried have been good enough to make us want to come back, especially the garlic noodles and pot stickers. Truffle fries were really done well also! Heads up though, they are now closed on Mondays and the hours haven't been updated yet at the location. read more
