Just left Bubbas 33 on US31. The food was great but the service was bad. We sat in the bar and order drinks and our food. The waiter was not attentive. Order a Long Island ice tea. I waited for 25 minutes and still no drink. The waiter finally came back with no drink. The bartenders were to busy playing with the bar top customers. There was even a squirt gun fight between a bartender and a customer at the bar. No wonder I never received my drink. We asked for check he said he took the Long Island off the bill. He did not. When I come here... I make it a point to order more pork and beef than I can handle. With a cold beer (what the hell was that special?) and that mentality I haven't gone wrong. While bellying up I have never been treated wrong. Swift service, a pound of beef that also has pork in it.... Local beer.. I didn't lose. I got a spicy burger once... It was delicious, but if you want to try the bacon in the burger I wouldn't recommend it. Wonderful, but showcases the sandwich and not the bacon. Habanero something I think it was called. Had lunch here again today. As usual, the bartender was attentive and checked on me frequently. They really have an excellent staff of bartenders. I always get a salad, and went with the grilled chicken salad today. The salads have never disappointed. It all tastes fresh and delicious. I'm an IPA fan. Luckily, they have Grapefruit Jungle in addition to Bell's Two Hearted Ale, so I have some options now. Beer is always cold, and the 33 oz. glasses can satisfy anyone. We went hear last week after volunteering at the Final Four Music Fest because getting into anything downtown was out of the question. We had wanted to try this since construction began. I had the sunshine burger. I love fried eggs and hamburger. It was served with skinny fries that were well seasoned. Service was good and the food was good. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Yes, they have TONS of televisions and this night they were all on the final four games in the bar so that was kind of fun watching the game with the crowd. I'm usually very critical of my restaurant experience since I'm a bit of a foodie as well as I'm an at home chef who loves food and doesn't mind experimenting a tad bit. I usually find a way to tear down an establishment, but I must say I really enjoyed my experience at Bubba's 33 (other than it was a bit chilly). My server (Ms. Sam) was very attentive and prompt and a had a delightful attitude. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer with ranch and Bubba Sauce which reminded me of Chick-fil-A sauce. They were piping hot crispy delicious but was a bit greasy at the end but I still enjoyed them. My wife had the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was large pretty thick and actually juicy. The batter used to deep fried it was crispy yet not overly crunchy the fries were also crispy and not overly salty. Both I must say were delicious. I had the Stromboli which came out very eye pleasing topped with freshly graded parmesan with bits of parsley and a side of ranch and marinara sauce. The dough used was quit pillowy with a ever so slight crunch. The ingredients used were flavorful which was a joy to devour. I hope at my next visit here will be just as enjoyable. I wish it didn't take me so long to make my first visit here which I've been eyeballing this place ever since it construction. Sorry I took no pictures I'll be sure at my next visit. Well the food may have been fine but I wouldn't know because I was so mad I walked out. When I wait for 40 minutes for a burger and it is still not out, there is a problem. I left my husband in the restaurant to eat his not yet arrived wings and went to a local store. He asked what he should say and I said "I am so mad I am about to go off, it's better that I just leave." We we're still charged for my meal. You know every time I come here I have great service. Today was no exception. Gabby took great care of me and my mom. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. Probably the best buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever had. My mom said her pork tenderloin was spicy, but I didn't think so. Went there for lunch today and it was awesome! My husband ordered the ribeye, mashed potatoes (with bacon and cheese!!), and broccoli.. and it was perfect! I love the catfish dinner. Their loaded mash potatoes were great! The best part was the broccoli. I wish I would've ordered two helpings. The service was mediocre. The waiter did not come to check on us much. Took 45mins to receive food. Granted they were not busy that day. My sisters and I decided to try them out while discussing our vacation plans. Great place for some Bud's to meet for food, beers and football. I ordered a large diet domestic and a Bubba Burger. The service is fast and there are large LED monitors everywhere showing current NFL games. Within a minute, Christina had our large beers at the table (faster than a drive through). Terrible service from Haley. Had to go get a refill from another server. Our server was talking instead of attending to her tables. She didn't drop our drinks or our food off. She was just an order taker pretty much. Asked how the food looked after someone else brought it , and I told her I needed sauce she never brought it . Instead she dropped a check greeted a table , took their order then sent another server out with the sauce 15 minutes later . So much seating, so we hardly ever have to wait! Their wait staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful! We love their mango lemonade, and they let you switch flavors as you go so you can try them all! Servers are always friendly. Food is usually good, although I've gotten the wrong items several times the server promptly corrects the issue and sends a manager to check in. Beer is always perfectly cold and fresh. Tons of TVs so people can keep up with every type of sportsing ever. However there are no nutrition guidelines available anywhere in the restaurant or online. I've been to Bubba's a few times. I believe that it is one of those hit or miss places. If your spouse is somebody that is very picky, they could probably pick this place apart. If the people you saunter around with are generally somewhat easy to please and like watching sports, being in lively and louder atmosphere then they will LOVE this place. I haven't had anything bad here. Wings are good, burgers are even better, and their pizza is one of my personal go-to's. Decently priced. I don't love the decibel level all the time, but you know what you are getting. Fun watching sporting events here. The big booths fit a decent amount of people, but I think most people would prefer chairs instead. Not bad priced. If you are looking for a place to watch the game at, this is worth a try. read more

Stopped by here today to get something to eat, kinda figured out what kind of place it was when the outside says, pizza, burgers, beer. Seated right away the place is kind of dark and was freezing. Booths are huge and even though it was 3 people easily could have seated 6 w/no problem. I got the double bacon chicken, with a wedge salad, wife got the aloha burger, kid got some kind of fried cheese monstrosity. Everything was fine, salad was saturated in bleu cheese (not good) and wife's burger came with a mountain of fries. Menu is basic chain food variety, I think I ate the healthiest thing on the menu, one could close their eyes and think they were at Applebees/Chilis. Overall not bad, doubt I would hit this place up again as they bring nothing new to the table. Service was fine, price for 2 people and a kid, little under $40. read more

I was looking for something close to try and found Bubba's through a yelp search. Walking into Bubba's is like walking into texas roadhouse with car racing stuff everywhere. If they are not under the same parent company they definitely hired the same decorator. The food was very solid. I had the jalapeno burger and it had plenty of kick. Unfortunately we came Friday night and the place was slammed. We waited quite a bit for our food but enjoyed chips and queso while we waited. I must have jinxed myself cause when the waitress asked me how I wanted my burger I asked her "does it matter?" She said yeah they can cook whatever I wanted. Well I ordered rare and ended up getting well done. Now it was still a great burger but I was a little bummed. I'll cut them some slack since they were so busy. Has the potential to be a great dining experience. I have gone a few times to this location and generally enjoy the food. I have yet to have a real negative experience with the food I have ordered. It has come out with little to no issues any time. The reason it's only three stars is because the service of the staff varies so wildly. The first and second time me, my wife, and a few other family members went was great. Very quick service, and relatively short wait times for anything. The most recent time though, we had an incredibly long wait (same number of people in the part, and a generally lower number of people there) for our food and while mine was fine, a few of my fellow diners had minor complaints about the food. Me and another person in my party also got no refills the entire time. Luckily I was a slower drinker. Part of the problem was that our server did not come by almost at all, and neither did a manager like usual. Again, that was one experience out of a handful, which is why I'm not going to give them less than 3 stars. I do plan on coming back at least once to give them another shot as every experience before that one had been so good. I do know that a few of the people I dined with that afternoon will not be coming back to this location though. Edit: I forgot to really talk about the good stuff. As I said above, the food is generally very good. I have mostly stuck to their burgers, and each one has knocked it out of the park for me. The pickle spear that comes with the burger is nice and crisp, and the fries are great as well (if not maybe too plentiful). The atmosphere is fine. The music choice is interesting, but not all together bad. There is a good deal of content on the plethora of screens lining the walls of the establishment, ranging from music videos, sports broadcasts, and even a channel with spotlights on either fun athletic tricks or humorous short videos. The servers are very friendly overall, and aside from the above mentioned time, are quite good at checking in on your dining experience. First let me start by saying Bubbas 33 was our family favorite prior to this and the way that were treated. When we were seated there was no silverware available which is understandable for a moment Then our salad was delivered to the table and we were not given silverware the waitress then left. My daughter got uo and got us silverwate fromt the waitstation. So as we are already frustrated and hungry when our bugers areived as we had not even been able to take a bite yet The assistant manager came over and was like how is everything we were caught offguard and reallt wanted to just enjoy our food. We reponded with a puzzled response like we guess we dont know yet. When he walked away he told one of his employees that my wife is rude. I then asked him to speak to me we stepped into the entry door and I explained what happened and he said yes he called her rude because she is and that he would not apologize for that which I never asked him to apologize. Bubs bacon burger was juicy and warm and not to pink. Appetizers of onion rings and a "bang bang" type firecracker shrimp was delicious. Loved the star awberry tea too. Only downnside was lack of gluten free options for one of our family members, so she opted for the burger minus the bun, and was not disappointed. read more
