We ordered out drinks first and I asked for the Mai Tai to please swap rum for tequila . He said he would ask. The cones back with some S.... and really fake story . I asked him is your bartender new? Over whelmed that he can't do it? And he stumbled with his excuse i asked to speak to the manager . When manager came and gave the excuse with to many people arrived at same time WHICH was a lie since I looked right over his shoulder and game him the bs Look. He then said we ordered a specified amount of things for the drinks and alcohol we have in hand . I said okay forget it . Interesting but upscale place. Very nice interior, the server was knowledgeable BUT we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday evening... not sure what that entirely means. However, good food! The harvest salad with delicious + big portions, the fish and chips were delicious, the salmon was a small portion but cooked well, the steak frites were good but undercooked in our opinion but the potato dumplings were a HIT! Beautiful, spacious, and new! We were impressed with the intricate details (la tavola silverware, high quality napkins, and beautiful serving). The ambiance is also very pleasing, with the view of the ocean and sun facing the restaurant. Music was nice, and calming. The service was very good, and the staff seemed to want to please. We ordered few dishes, caesar salad which was exceptionally fresh, avocado with chips, and an omelette with roasted potatoes and mushrooms in olive oil, and a burger. Everything was delicious! Popped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon recently and was very impressed. The potato dumplings were topnotch and the lamb and beef skewer was seasoned perfectly and just tasted delicious. Good espresso and a great cheesecake rounded things out. My only suggestion: add a few Eastern European beers to the menu, would be fitting for the neighborhood! My wife and I visited on Saturday, and I made a reservation online, noting that it was for a birthday. You'd think that might prompt a little extra attention, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. After being seated by the hostess and given menus, we waited about 15 minutes with no service. Our waitress walked past us several times to serve the table next to us but never acknowledged us. Eventually, the manager noticed and told her to come to our table right away--but she still ignored us and returned to the other table instead. The manager eventually came over, and I explained that we felt completely invisible. She apologized, got us drinks, and comped them along with taking our appetizer order. The drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive, and the appetizers came about 30 minutes after that. Still, no one came to take our entrée order or check in on us. A different server finally approached and asked if we needed anything else, at which point we asked for the check. We explained it was my wife's birthday and that we were very disappointed with the evening. To her credit, the manager comped the entire bill, which was greatly appreciated and a very professional gesture. That said, the overall experience was poor enough that we likely won't return for quite a while. read more

Went to this place twice, about a month ago and last week. Ordered multiple different things to get an idea of the food. First time, I had a double cheeseburger which was delicious, fish and chips which had unsalted fish, but fried well. definitely needs seasoning, a pizza which had really thick dough, so I didn't like it, even though the flavor was good. The fries that come with the burger and fish is very boring and bland. For $30 a meal they could put parmesan fries which they have as a side dish. The fries taste like supermarket frozen fries. Also got the potato dumplings which were delicious. The staff were friendly, and food came out quickly. Second time I went it was like an entirely different place. I got the double cheeseburger again, but the bun was different. It didn't have any sesame seeds, and was flat and stale. The cheeseburger only had 1 patty, so I got ripped off there in what is supposed to be a double cheeseburger. On top of that I ordered it medium well and it was nearly rare. The crispy calamari were a bit overcooked but not too bad. I got the charred eggplant which had tahini in it and it doesn't say that on the menu at all. I hate tahini so I couldn't eat it. Awful. Did the chef get fired in the last month since I went? A friend of mine called them to order takeout once and they said you have to use their online ordering service, but that service has each dish listed at 6-8% higher than the regular menu. I have never seen a restaurant not offer takeout by phone in 2025. They said if you don't want to use the online ordering, you can come in and order in person and then wait for your food to be made, which defeats the whole point of ordering ahead of time. Like, how is ordering by phone any different than ordering in person? Write my order down on a piece of paper and make it. I'll pay when I come in. Anyway, this place isn't for takeout unless you want to overpay, and the food was much worse the second time I dined there compared to the first. read more

I think the wait staff must be unconscious. I can't evaluate the food, because even though there were two waiters in my area, no one, after close to 40 minutes, could be bothered to take my order. I noticed a couple who came in just as I was giving up and deciding to leave whom the waiter scurried over to immediately. Maybe the sight of a woman of a certain age dining alone just wigs this place out. Guess they can't handle that. I can't come up with any other reason as to why I would be so ignored. Went back today. Last time was a few weeks ago when we had a reservation and they let us know when we arrived that they were closing because of light snow. No phone call letting us know. The manager promised drinks and apps when we came back but seemed to not notice us today and offer it but we didn't make it a thing. So. Location is amazing. Right in the boardwalk with views of the ocean. Food is amazing. Everything we had we loved. The waitress (think she had Chanel earrings) was beyond lovely and wonderful. I forget everyone's name including my kids half the time but I wish I remembered hers because she really was outstanding. Helped me pick out a good vodka to go with my caviar appetizer. I would definitely recommend this place. I hope it stays open. I know it's part of a chain, so that might help. If I were you I would go before the summer. Probably will be a hot spot then. We had the potatoes/ caviar combo appetizer and the tuna tartar, excellent. We continued with the sea bass and the grilled branzino. Outstanding as well, a divine cheesecake for dessert as well as fresh berries. A delightful evening; good food and an extremely professional and attentive staff. Had an amazing birthday dinner here on a Sunday evening and it was spectacular! Our host Becka was very attentive and friendly and made sure that everything was going well. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (steak frites and salmon). We wanted the pavlova for dessert but was not available so we opted for the chocolate caramel pie. To our pleasant surprise the pie was comped plus a bonus cheesecake since it was my birthday and our first choice for dessert was not available! The space is beautiful, and the service was great, however, there were small and large misses, which I think are unacceptable for a place that strives to position itself as fine dining. We were a party of 7 for Father's Day. Our table was ready; however, half of the party was missing forks. Our lovely server Lydia apologized, and the forks were procured. Halfway through the meal, her shift was over, and Gabriella took over, she was equally sweet and capable. As for the food, the appetizers and the sides were excellent. We got salmon crispy rice, eggplant spread, caviar tater tots, tuna tartar, Brussel sprouts, asparagus and potatoes with mushrooms. My burger was excellent. Now to the bad parts. My husband's skirt steak, which he ordered medium-rare came out medium-well and when he told the busboy, he just shrugged and said that it was medium-rare. The piece was also super thin and narrow. My kids ordered Mediterranean salad with chicken, which cost extra $10, pushing the dish to be $27. What came out looked like something that a four-year old would prepare. No cucumbers or olives, which were listed on the menu, huge chunks of tomatoes, and the chicken was dark meat of an extremely inferior quality with visible fat all over it. We have returned it, and it was taken off the menu, but the kitchen should have never sent something like that out. For dessert, we ordered Pavlova. It tasted cloyingly sweet and artificially flavored. My overall verdict-if your taste buds are not as advanced as mine or if you don't cook at home as well as I do, you might enjoy it.
