Good food, generous portions & a fair price. We enjoy pancakes all day so finding a place specializing in breakfast was nice. Lots of parking available, shaded chairs for if / while you wait, and friendly staff. We were told about a 25 minute wait, but we said first available (they have outside and two floors inside) so was more like a 10 minute wait. As other reviews have mentioned Breakfastime is like Cracker Barrel on steroids. The establishment looks like an barn and the inside has a funky country feel to it. Lots of metal "antique looking" signs, baskets filled with candy by the register and they have upstairs seating available. Their are booths and tables inside. The parking lot fills up quick, especially on the weekends and unlike Cracker Barrel we did not get seated fast even though we only had three in our party. We were able to sit on a cushioned bench while we waited. Our waitress was friendly and the menu options are similar to that of Cracker Barrel but I did notice they also offer French Toast, Waffles and Eggs Benedict in addition to pancakes, sausage links and patties, eggs, bacon, toast and that's just breakfast. They offer lunch as well. The food took a while to get to the table but when it did come it was solid. I loved the French toast and the pancakes were good too! Everything else tasted made to order and was pretty tasty for country style breakfast food. We would return. read more

My 94 year old aunt I enjoyed chicken salad lunches there and everything was delicious and very comfortable. It was crowded without being stressful and hospitable without being overbearing. Ordered food for 6 people and all the food was very good, the order was correct, gave us plenty of napkins and utensils for everyone. Yummy country breakfast that won't hurt your wallet! I am more of a savory breakfast person, but I also want pancakes when I go out for breakfast so we got a bit of both. My boyfriend got the veggie omelette which came with hashbrowns and a biscuit. The omlette was pretty standard and the biscuit a little on the dry side, the standout was the crispy hashbrowns with grilled onions (30 cents add on and worth every penny). The onions and hasbrowns was a nice flavor and texture combo. The bananas foster pancakes were not bad, but I made the mistake of putting syrup on an already sweet pancake. This is the spot to go and get a down home, delicious breakfast that will leave you good and satisfied but not broke. The place has a nice country feel, with rockers and comfortable chairs on the front porch. They have upstairs and main floor seating so we didn't have a long wait time. I tried the breakfast special that included 2 pork tenderloins and got them fried. I was a little apprehensive that they would be dry but they were tender, juicy and seasoned just right. The special includes 2 eggs but if you want they throw an extra egg in if you want at no extra charge. They included a good portion of homefries and their biscuit was delicious. They have some great combos and I wish I could've tried their french toast which looked really good. My boo got eggs, grits, livermush and a waffle. The waffle was kinda ho-hum and there wasn't anything extra special about the grits but he said it was good. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. read more

So my family and I visited the grandparents in the area and they suggested we eat here for breakfast. My wife and I came to eat without the kids without distractions. The wife ordered the traditional eggs benedict and I ordered the southern eggs benedict with liver mush aka scrapple with me also wanting to try the smash burger without tomatoes and lettuce. So with both the eggs benedicts both of the poached eggs the yolks were thoroughly cooked. It was cooked through and not runny at all! I don't know if this is a southern thing but we were both surprised and disappointed. My wife ordered a side of hashbrowns and they were good. I ordered the homefries and it was also alright. The smash burger that i ordered was moreso a burger than an actual smash burger with no mayard(sp?) reaction so wasn't all crispy or anything unfortunately. I was just passing by on highway 85 and looked up for a good breakfast restaurant and Breakfastime came up so I GPS it and went there and It's definitely a very good restaurant and it's very reasonable prices. They had a very big breakfast selections to choose from. And what topped it off was this server and bless her heart I think she's in her mid 40s. And she was very kind. Thank y'all. Busy, country-style diner with a massive menu. Even at 10 AM on a Wednesday expect a short wait for a seat. I ordered a meat lovers three egg omelet with a biscuit and sausage gravy. Service is efficient and pleasant (even though I don't like being called "sugar or honey"), I expected it. Coffee was nearly bottomless and I was all buzzed by check out. I give only three stars because the food was just OK. Omelet was dry, the cheese barely melted, and the sausage gravy was a big let down. Very, very average. The pancakes looked great, so maybe next time. Secondly, checking out took quite awhile with a slow ccard server and only one register. I love how they kept the decor of the old Farmhouse restaurant that closed last year. Nice. read more

Stopped by here for brunch 11/3 and was immediately enthralled by the greeter Shirley! Her sweet disposition, her kind, welcoming way was like a summer breeze. Her manner warmed me and it almost felt like she was inviting me to her own kitchen. Just couldn't get enough of her beautiful brown eyes. Coulda stayed there all day. I had the French toast with bacon and eggs. Everyone was nice and the food was very good too. But Shirley was magnetic! And yes, I had to ask and was so disappointed that she is married. Really great breakfast chain. This was our first trip to this location, but it was our second Breakfasttime experience. The coffee is solid, as was everything we've tried. My personal favorite might be what I'll order every time from now on... The Belgium waffle and chicken tenders! Perfect. The only thing I'd add would maybe be a sauce for the chicken. My favorite place in Charleston serves their chicken and waffles with a honey mustard barbeque sauce that would be fantastic with this dish too. Everything else was again on point... Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and my favorite, the hash browns, which were super crispy! We'll definitely choose them again, for another reliably delicious brunch! read more

Perfectly caramelized sweet onions, burger, provolone and mayo in perfect proportions, on delicious toasted and lightly buttered rye. And, the fries were outstanding. I opted for a salad, and chose Nuts & Berries. Oh My Gosh! I can only describe it as edible art. So good. It's also available topped with grilled chicken, or fried (or grilled) chicken tenders. We're visiting in North Carolina and I was looking for a breakfast place on Yelp. Breakfastime was one of the places that popped up. We had a little wait but is was well worth the wait. The menu has a great selection of breakfast items. Our waitress, Jennifer, was so nice and helpful. The coffee cups were always full and the food was great as well. Jennifer was very busy but was spot on with her service and smile. The pumpkin pancakes were as good as they could be. I am glad you do not have " SMELL A VISION " because the concrete floors were so soaked with urine that it made me barf! I have always been told if the place does not take enough care to keep the bathroom clean then what about the kitchen? They even had 2 large air fresheners to try to "mask " the smell. ( Sorry pesky rabbit tricks are for kids) Now for the food grease grease and more grease . Eggs dripping of grease, sausage and ham were as well sure I could have gotten a bowl of oatmeal...
