The food here was better than I expected, especially the fries which were hot and well seasoned. The burger was tasty and cooked right, not overpowered by heavy seasoning like some steakhouse chains tend to do. Just a solid burger with decent beef. It had been years since I last visited a Texas Roadhouse, and I had not remembered the vibe being like this at other locations in the past. This place was absolutely packed for just before 5PM on a Wednesday, and the atmosphere was loud and boisterous. The crowd leaned very country, and it felt closer to a late-night western bar than a dinner spot. A few guests at the bar were already being cut off from more drinks, which tells you how lively it was. I always enjoy a place with bread service. Logan's still sets the bar for me, but the rolls here are decent. I would say they edge out Outback if you ask for regular butter. The default cinnamon butter is sweet, which just isn't my thing. One thing that stood out is how well staffed it was considering the time of day. For the first time in a long while, I didn't feel like the servers were stretched too thin, although they were clearly hustling to keep up with the nonstop drink orders. I can only imagine how wild it gets on a Saturday night. This is probably the best service of any establishment I've been to in Salisbury, despite the crowd - although if you've seen the service in Salisbury that really isn't much of a compliment. For my taste, the rowdy vibe took away from the experience since I was just looking for a burger and a beer. If you enjoy a high-energy, noisy dinner with a big crowd, this spot will be perfect for you. Personally, I probably wouldn't bring a date or family here unless they were into that kind of scene. read more

We love this location! It's one of the best in the Texas Roadhouse chain. The food is always good. Steaks are always cooked perfectly, fresh out of the oven rolls and ice cold beer. We always sit at the bar for our meal so we normally don't need to wait. There is always a line ate this location since it is directly off the interstate. Texas Roadhouse is always a commitment, and last night was no exception--a solid 45-minute wait with a packed house and that unmistakable loud, lively, high-energy vibe. It's busy, it's buzzing, and yes... you're absolutely questioning your life choices while waiting. But then those SINFULLY good yeast rolls show up and suddenly all is forgiven. I ordered the 6 oz filet, cooked medium rare, and it was chef's kiss--tender, juicy, and cooked exactly right. Paired with grilled shrimp, which were seasoned well and perfectly cooked, it hit that surf-and-turf sweet spot. The sweet potato was fluffy and comforting (brown sugar and butter doing the Lord's work), and the salad was fresh, crisp, and a surprisingly solid opener. Bottom line: Yes, the wait is long. Yes, it's loud and chaotic. But the food is consistently good, the portions deliver, and once that food hits the table, you remember why people are willing to wait it out. Would I do it again? The food in this location has really went down the drain.I had a bad meal here last month but figured well everyone has a bad or off day . So I decided to take my family back here today. The salad comes out first and it did not even look the same as has in the past . Terrible is how I would describe it. The baked potato was cold with the cheese not even melted at all. It was very dry and just bad all the way around. Out of 3 filet meals my steak was the only one cooked as ordered. The kitchen staff looks overwhelmed and disorganized. The server was just ok . We are regulars at this specific Texas Roadhouse about once a week, however our last experience this past week is likely to be our last. The waitress was very rude and the service was less than mediocre. Someone needs to have a talk with the server about how to treat customers. The waitress was too busy gossiping with another waitress to give us refills. I asked for gravy on my mashed potatoes and it came out without gravy so l asked for some and she got mad I asked for it like I was inconveniencing her. Also I asked for a Togo cup 4 times still didn't get one so I had to ask the waiter that was waiting on the table across from us and he got it for me. I asked the hostess for a straw on the way out but was told "I don't have one" and rolled her eyes at me didn't offer to get me one or anything. But that's not the first time that hostess has been rude I normally don't even normally leave reviews but l've literally just gotten sick of giving this place chances hoping it's going to be better next time. Going to just start going across the highway over to longhorn where they know how to treat customers and actually care about their service! We probably spends $300 a month at this restaurant. Never again though. I will take it elsewhere and l've advised my ENTIRE FAMILY AND FRIENDS to do the same. If I wanted to be treated like trash I'd go to a dicks last resort. Disclosure: 4 star NO STEAK review. We didn't have steak and I needed to share that for all of the skimmers out there who stop short. I did see the neighboring tables who ordered steak and it looked like roadkill. However the Ribs were good and my salad was fresh. My hubby ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, it was a tad salty but still good. The rolls with the cinnamon butter were good too! The server was polite and did a great job. Before we left the manager came by to see if everything was OK but kept walking before getting an answer. You know how some people greet with "Hi, how are you" but don't care what the reply is? Well it was similar to that. There were no issues, thank goodness. The total for two was under $50 including tip. Inside it's loud, and the decor is typical chain restaurant. read more

My family & I came in this evening to dine in. Our server was very sweet and personable. However, 3-4 groups were sat after us and got their food and left before we ever got our food. We were a little frustrated and irritated. I ordered a side salad and still received that after two groups had already got their food. We were just a little frustrated that four other tables whom were sat after us got their food, paid and left before we got our dinner. With that frustration, no manager came to check-in, nor did we see one while eating to talk. Just not one of the best experiences we have had here. read more

Absolutely horrible dining experience. During the middle of our dinner, a guest pulled the fire alarm to where we had to evacuate the building. Upon re-entry to the building, and an hour and a half later, the server we had continually told us that our food was on the way multiple times only to find out that the order was lost during the fire alarm incident. The manager claimed things beyond their control yet all other tables around us had gotten their food ( that had arrived way later than we did ) and not server nor manager claimed responsibility that they had lost the order. Should have never gotten to that point. Will NOT be back and sorry I have to post a star to this review that doesn't deserve one. read more

Nothing like a full Texas experience. While you wait, enjoy being herded like the cattle from the open plains from "deck" four, to three and finally onto the final frontier: one. Awaiting you at the final deck like an oasis in the middle of night is the bread counter. Glistening under the heat lamps, wrapped and stacked like angels, are the delightfully and delicious bread rolls that we came here for. Our server, Natalie, went above and beyond for my lil' family dinner. I would like to nominate her for the most Miss Texas. I asked her to keep those rolls coming and she understood the assignment. When my paw inquired about the steak, she solemnly and wholeheartedly said if she had to, she'd go kill the cow. And you could see his heart rate increased with joy and pride. Let alone the growing hunger pangs from being saddled into waiting areas. We didn't, NOT ONCE, have to wait for a drink with the exception of alcohol. To my theory that the drinks take longer because the cult like clapping that comes with the knowledge of a birthday. Once dinner was served, Natalie asked us to cut into the steaks to ensure they were cut correctly - which they were. Of course. I've been in the restaurant industry for years and no matter how busy it is or whatever else I don't treat guest rudely and cold. If people are coming in and confused which host to go to since there's two and no one says "hi welcome in" or "did you put your name or just walking in?" Don't give us attitude!!! Getting a table is a headache, and will now just put myself on the waitlist from home, then start my drive when it gets closer to my seating time. Tons of steak options with a variety of sides to choose from.. I will say my ONLY complaint, is that the veggies are swimming in some wort of watery something? I was hoping for dry/steamed veggies to go with my steak but almost needed a spoon to eat my green beans.. and theres like bacon or something on them too? Not just plain veggies... anyways, delicious steaks, delicious pork, delicious chicken and Im assuming delicious fish! Pace yourself with the bottomless bread and honey cinnamon butter they bring.. otherwise you can get in some serious trouble before your dinner gets to the table! Their staff, regardless of location, has been consistently kind and customer service oriented! One can never go wrong with texas roadhouse for any meal. Rolls always on point and none of the food has ever disappointed me. Salads are always a fav go to for me. Large enough for 2 meals. You have to ask for peanuts and now they come in little convenient bags. Always a wait but worth it with their ahead waitlist. read more

We had a disappointing experience at this Texas Roadhouse. We didn't receive our bread until after half of our meal had already been served. Our server, Emme, also got my drink order wrong. The mistake was pointed out before the drink was even brought to the table, yet she still brought the wrong drink. While the incorrect drink was not consumed and was taken off the ticket, the situation could have been handled better. What made the experience worse was Emme's attitude. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes, she acted as if they were our fault and even made comments about us to other servers for simply pointing out the error. The issues with the bread and drink order would have been minor inconveniences, but being talked about negatively by our server made the experience far worse. Definitely not the level of service I expect from Texas Roadhouse. That being said, if you go, I highly recommend asking for Brooklyn--one of the only servers who is always kind and treats every customer with respect. read more

My wife and I are regulars. Tonight, our appetizer (shared tater skins) came out in minutes. The salads were served before we could slide a tater skin onto our side plates. The rolls showed up with the salads and there was barely room on our small table. Before we could finish a tater skin, the entrees arrived and they asked what plates they could take away to make room. We had barely begun the appetizer, and hadn't started our salads. We gave up the appetizer to make room. My steak (med. rare) was perfectly cooked. My wife's steak (medium) was rare. She asked it to be cooked to medium. I continued to eat, finished my salad, finished my steak, and 15 minutes after I finished, they brought my wife's steak which was long past well done. If she hadn't sent her steak back to be recooked, we would have probably been in and out in 15 minutes with a 3 course meal. It took 4 times longer to recook the steak than it did to cook it. I understand that they have to turn tables, but this was crazy. My wife gave up on her steak, so she had one potato skin and a salad. On the plus side, my steak was great, and the service was wonderful. The food here is a great value, but if they're going to try to turn the tables 4 times an hour, I'll spend more and go elsewhere. read more

Went last night 9/21/25 they were not as busy as normal but still had a crowd, waitress seemed nice enough but ordered 4 ribeye steaks and some rattle snake bites, never got the rattle snake bites okay no big deal I fires she just forget to put them in. We are way to please but then the steaks came out, 3 steaks were ribeyes but one was definitely not it was a sirloin we even questioned it and she said oh yeah some look like that! No they do not different look and taste. We were only checked on once again after that and had to ask for refills at that point my kids were eating with no drink. As much as we love TR, we were sad to see the rolls being so tiny at tonight's meal and the hostess group at the front could have been a little more friendly, as the only one who spoke was a little gruff and just told us where to stand without any other acknowledgement -this is the ONLY reason on the 4 stars-y'all gotta be more happy to see customers and more consistent on the roll sizes (There was the one smaller smaller than shown in the pic, but it was eaten.) Otherwise, our server Selina was beyond fantastic and our 6oz Dallas Filets were the best we've ever had out to eat in a long time. (No pic because we were hungry.) To the point of how good they were, we sent our praises to the grill cook. We've been to TR's all over the southern United States.
