One of my best Texas Roadhouse experiences ever, was in from out of town with a group of friends. One of my buddies was pickpocketed at the bar, without realizing at first. The bartender (Molly) saw the whole thing go down, sumo slammed the perp, and retrieved my buddie's wallet for him. Molly deserves a raise ! That is for sure ! read more

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us when our group became a bigger group and we needed more seats and extended the table out. Food was the bomb. I would recommend them to my friends. read more

The food here was better than I expected, especially the fries which were hot and well seasoned. The burger was tasty and cooked right, not overpowered by heavy seasoning like some steakhouse chains tend to do. Just a solid burger with decent beef. It had been years since I last visited a Texas Roadhouse, and I had not remembered the vibe being like this at other locations in the past. This place was absolutely packed for just before 5PM on a Wednesday, and the atmosphere was loud and boisterous. The crowd leaned very country, and it felt closer to a late-night western bar than a dinner spot. A few guests at the bar were already being cut off from more drinks, which tells you how lively it was. I always enjoy a place with bread service. Logan's still sets the bar for me, but the rolls here are decent. I would say they edge out Outback if you ask for regular butter. The default cinnamon butter is sweet, which just isn't my thing. One thing that stood out is how well staffed it was considering the time of day. For the first time in a long while, I didn't feel like the servers were stretched too thin, although they were clearly hustling to keep up with the nonstop drink orders. I can only imagine how wild it gets on a Saturday night. This is probably the best service of any establishment I've been to in Salisbury, despite the crowd - although if you've seen the service in Salisbury that really isn't much of a compliment. For my taste, the rowdy vibe took away from the experience since I was just looking for a burger and a beer. If you enjoy a high-energy, noisy dinner with a big crowd, this spot will be perfect for you. Personally, I probably wouldn't bring a date or family here unless they were into that kind of scene. read more

What a sorry excuse for some Mac n cheese, I'd expect this from a mom and pop place not a chain restaurant Took 15 mins for our server to notice us and then get us Drinks. No one told her we got sat in section. Not her fault but you would think they would be walking around and see people with no drinks or food after a long time. read more

Texas Roadhouse - Tenders with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese - Steakhouses Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

Did online waitlist. Was told at 5:40 our table was ready. Waited in line while 10 other parties were sat ahead of us. Waited total of 30 minutes for our table. Finally got sat. Ordered fairly quickly but did not get our salads for 40 minutes. Finally got our food. All 4 of our steaks were overcooked. 10 minutes later brought 4 new ones, 2 of the 4 still not right. Finally brought the other 2 back. They were ok, not great but at this point we had been there since 5:20 and it was now 7:30. !!!! Finally got out of there 7:50 !!! Unacceptable!!!!! read more

Food and service are amazing. Worth the wait. I suggest the Miss Kitty, you can cut it with a fork.

We love this location! It's one of the best in the Texas Roadhouse chain. The food is always good. Steaks are always cooked perfectly, fresh out of the oven rolls and ice cold beer. We always sit at the bar for our meal so we normally don't need to wait. There is always a line ate this location since it is directly off the interstate. It's always clean and have friendly servers and bartenders. read more

So we went to Texas Road House tonight was told an hour and half wait period , We waited like 2.5 hours and finally was seated . Ordered our drinks and next thing we know there was a giant bug on the wall next to our table . We told them and they offered to move us but couldn't because the size of our party and was told they would take care of us not sure what he ment but we expected them to get rid of the bug but didn't . So all in all a bad night was had . The door hostess was rude from the beginning . read more

Texas Roadhouse is always a commitment, and last night was no exception--a solid 45-minute wait with a packed house and that unmistakable loud, lively, high-energy vibe. It's busy, it's buzzing, and yes... you're absolutely questioning your life choices while waiting. But then those SINFULLY good yeast rolls show up and suddenly all is forgiven. I ordered the 6 oz filet, cooked medium rare, and it was chef's kiss--tender, juicy, and cooked exactly right. Paired with grilled shrimp, which were seasoned well and perfectly cooked, it hit that surf-and-turf sweet spot. The sweet potato was fluffy and comforting (brown sugar and butter doing the Lord's work), and the salad was fresh, crisp, and a surprisingly solid opener. Bottom line: Yes, the wait is long. Yes, it's loud and chaotic. But the food is consistently good, the portions deliver, and once that food hits the table, you remember why people are willing to wait it out. Would I do it again? Absolutely--just with patience, low expectations for quiet conversation, and a serious appetite. read more

Just like to say bartender was very rude when I ask her for manager !!! Father's Day and it was horrible and never we'll be back !! Big screen had soccer on and ask for the US open or College World Series between Carolina and Sonners !! She said she wasn't turning it because management said not too !!! The more I thought about it the madder I got !! Also an older women sat down next to me and ordered a steak and vegetables !! There was a roach running over her steak !!! And same bartender ignored it !! read more

The food in this location has really went down the drain.I had a bad meal here last month but figured well everyone has a bad or off day . So I decided to take my family back here today. The salad comes out first and it did not even look the same as has in the past . Terrible is how I would describe it. The baked potato was cold with the cheese not even melted at all. It was very dry and just bad all the way around. Out of 3 filet meals my steak was the only one cooked as ordered. The kitchen staff looks overwhelmed and disorganized. The server was just ok . That was my last time eating here and paying 130 dollars for food that was NOT good. read more

The last 2 times the food has been delicious. The service on the other had has been horrible. You wait for another drink only to get a second drink after you have finished your meal. The greeter is trying to talk to you on the way to the table and you can't hear anything he is saying. read more

We are regulars at this specific Texas Roadhouse about once a week, however our last experience this past week is likely to be our last. The waitress was very rude and the service was less than mediocre. Someone needs to have a talk with the server about how to treat customers. The waitress was too busy gossiping with another waitress to give us refills. I asked for gravy on my mashed potatoes and it came out without gravy so l asked for some and she got mad I asked for it like I was inconveniencing her. Also I asked for a Togo cup 4 times still didn't get one so I had to ask the waiter that was waiting on the table across from us and he got it for me. I asked the hostess for a straw on the way out but was told "I don't have one" and rolled her eyes at me didn't offer to get me one or anything. But that's not the first time that hostess has been rude I normally don't even normally leave reviews but l've literally just gotten sick of giving this place chances hoping it's going to be better next time. Going to just start going across the highway over to longhorn where they know how to treat customers and actually care about their service! We probably spends $300 a month at this restaurant. Never again though. I will take it elsewhere and l've advised my ENTIRE FAMILY AND FRIENDS to do the same. If I wanted to be treated like trash I'd go to a dicks last resort. The waitress Emmie should apply there and take the sassy host with her, would be a perfect fit read more

Disclosure: 4 star NO STEAK review. We didn't have steak and I needed to share that for all of the skimmers out there who stop short. I did see the neighboring tables who ordered steak and it looked like roadkill. However the Ribs were good and my salad was fresh. My hubby ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, it was a tad salty but still good. The rolls with the cinnamon butter were good too! The server was polite and did a great job. Before we left the manager came by to see if everything was OK but kept walking before getting an answer. You know how some people greet with "Hi, how are you" but don't care what the reply is? Well it was similar to that. There were no issues, thank goodness. The total for two was under $50 including tip. Inside it's loud, and the decor is typical chain restaurant. read more

My family & I came in this evening to dine in. Our server was very sweet and personable. However, 3-4 groups were sat after us and got their food and left before we ever got our food. We were a little frustrated and irritated. I ordered a side salad and still received that after two groups had already got their food. We were just a little frustrated that four other tables whom were sat after us got their food, paid and left before we got our dinner. With that frustration, no manager came to check-in, nor did we see one while eating to talk. Just not one of the best experiences we have had here. read more

Absolutely horrible dining experience. During the middle of our dinner, a guest pulled the fire alarm to where we had to evacuate the building. Upon re-entry to the building, and an hour and a half later, the server we had continually told us that our food was on the way multiple times only to find out that the order was lost during the fire alarm incident. The manager claimed things beyond their control yet all other tables around us had gotten their food ( that had arrived way later than we did ) and not server nor manager claimed responsibility that they had lost the order. Should have never gotten to that point. Will NOT be back and sorry I have to post a star to this review that doesn't deserve one. read more

ordered takeout and asked for medium steak, and came out rare. Everything else was okay but steak was not.

Nothing like a full Texas experience. While you wait, enjoy being herded like the cattle from the open plains from "deck" four, to three and finally onto the final frontier: one. Awaiting you at the final deck like an oasis in the middle of night is the bread counter. Glistening under the heat lamps, wrapped and stacked like angels, are the delightfully and delicious bread rolls that we came here for. Our server, Natalie, went above and beyond for my lil' family dinner. I would like to nominate her for the most Miss Texas. I asked her to keep those rolls coming and she understood the assignment. When my paw inquired about the steak, she solemnly and wholeheartedly said if she had to, she'd go kill the cow. And you could see his heart rate increased with joy and pride. Let alone the growing hunger pangs from being saddled into waiting areas. We didn't, NOT ONCE, have to wait for a drink with the exception of alcohol. To my theory that the drinks take longer because the cult like clapping that comes with the knowledge of a birthday. Once dinner was served, Natalie asked us to cut into the steaks to ensure they were cut correctly - which they were. Of course. Only reason a four and not a five star review is for the waiting otherwise - Outstanding food and Better Service. Ask for Natalie!!! read more

Very nice and friendly staff! Food good! Enjoy the atmosphere and food is top quality. Servers are great

Food is OK but the music is way too loud. They have a bar so they feel like they have to blast the music

First thing they need to do is retrain some of the hostess. No hello or anything just attitude and the feel of hurry up what's your name or how many. If you don't like the job quit then. I've been in the restaurant industry for years and no matter how busy it is or whatever else I don't treat guest rudely and cold. If people are coming in and confused which host to go to since there's two and no one says "hi welcome in" or "did you put your name or just walking in?" Don't give us attitude!!! Server was great I forgot her name but we came in around 4 (may 10) sat in the Willie Nelson booth so whoever section that was, you're great! Food was great and obviously the bread too. read more

One can never go wrong with texas roadhouse for any meal. Rolls always on point and none of the food has ever disappointed me. Salads are always a fav go to for me. Large enough for 2 meals. The food gave me high blood pressure off this fried chicken, too salty. I'm not sure if it's the brown gravy or the fried chicken. Maybe both. Texas Roadhouse - Fried chicken and brown gravy...salty - Steakhouses Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

De.Lic.Ious. Enough said. Everyone would talk about TRH and before moving here didnt understand the hype... and now that Im here? I FULLY understand the hype. Their food is DELICIOUS! Getting a table is a headache, and will now just put myself on the waitlist from home, then start my drive when it gets closer to my seating time. Tons of steak options with a variety of sides to choose from.. I will say my ONLY complaint, is that the veggies are swimming in some wort of watery something? I was hoping for dry/steamed veggies to go with my steak but almost needed a spoon to eat my green beans.. and theres like bacon or something on them too? Not just plain veggies... anyways, delicious steaks, delicious pork, delicious chicken and Im assuming delicious fish! Pace yourself with the bottomless bread and honey cinnamon butter they bring.. otherwise you can get in some serious trouble before your dinner gets to the table! Their staff, regardless of location, has been consistently kind and customer service oriented! Order a drink, snack on bread and listen to late 90s/early 2000s country music while enjoying whatever game theyre playing on tv, then divulge into a good hearty slab of meat and wrap up dinner with their brownie dessert, then wait for someone to wheel you away from your table cause you wont be able to walk back to your car Great food at a great price! read more

We had a disappointing experience at this Texas Roadhouse. We didn't receive our bread until after half of our meal had already been served. Our server, Emme, also got my drink order wrong. The mistake was pointed out before the drink was even brought to the table, yet she still brought the wrong drink. While the incorrect drink was not consumed and was taken off the ticket, the situation could have been handled better. What made the experience worse was Emme's attitude. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes, she acted as if they were our fault and even made comments about us to other servers for simply pointing out the error. The issues with the bread and drink order would have been minor inconveniences, but being talked about negatively by our server made the experience far worse. Definitely not the level of service I expect from Texas Roadhouse. That being said, if you go, I highly recommend asking for Brooklyn--one of the only servers who is always kind and treats every customer with respect. read more

Food was as expected, good. They asked us to cut into our steaks which was great. Avoids the back and forth. Our server was very attentive, refilled drinks in a timely manner. But.... My daughter went to the bathroom and one of the employees was in a stall, she was coughing, left the stall and didn't wash her hands. Which makes the experience go from 5 stars to 3.
