Kids chicken tenders meal, our four year old is a fan.
Jess T.

The service was great. Our servers name was Emily and was extremely informative, quick with orders, we never had to ask for refills. We were there right before the dinner crowd so it didn't take us long to get our food. The servers name checked back with us several times to ensure we had everything we needed. We spent 25.00 for 2 adults and one toddler aged four years. Would definitely recommend this location if you're ever in Lexington and looking for a home style meal! Parking was easy. Gift shop was stocked for Halloween. Our daughter found a Hello Kitty doll that was super fun. Family friendly, games at tables.

Clean enough. Friendly enough. But the sale priced clothing doesn't ring up as sale items, and there's a hassle at the register. Not Abigail deal, just no flow. Lunch specials unacceptable. Small soup bowl plus baked potato is $7.99. Waitress has no interest in helping you to figure out menu, deals with the combos, etc. Menu is misleading. Will not return. Probably nix all cracker barrel restaurants now.

Stopped in the early afternoon when driving thru the area. I always have loved Cracker Barrel for their shop and grilled chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. However this time I tried a chicken plate with two sides. Food was hot and very flavorful. It also was very inexpensive. The corn muffins weren't to my liking, seemed dried out and a bit hard. Overall a good meal and definitely got my money's worth.

Not typically a big Cracker Barrel fan , it's always been a nice place to go visit the country store and get breakfast . The menu changed during Covid and never brought back some old time favorites . First time eating here for dinner in years . Service was good and friendly staff . We got fried pickles for an app which was really good and crispy . My wife got breakfast with no complaints . I was really in mood for fish and scene it happen to be fish Friday but was pretty reluctant but went ahead and got it anyways along with pintos and loaded mash potatoes. Also got a beer since the serve it now and been a long week at work . I would highly advise not doing so $5 for a canned beer is absolutely ridiculous . The white fish I will say was amazing crispy flakey no fishy taste or smell and probably the best place around here ten times better than the actual seafood restaurants. The pintos were good lot of flavor the loaded mash potatoes were cold and hard and left a lot to be desired and disappointed. Overall I would go again and definitely would go for fish Friday .

Very disappointed in presentation of our food this morning as well as we ordered curb side and checked in on time and after waiting 12 mins on them decided to walk in to find our food just sitting on the counter... breakfast cold isn't the best...

I loved loved loved the rocket pop mimosa! It was very good and a nice little treat. I got the grandma breakfast and pecan pancakes. Nothing better than Cracker Barrel Pancakes that's for sure. They now offer cheese cake stuffed pancakes and my husband loved it. Unfortunately this location seems to always have an issue with their POS system so we had to leave and get cash. Other than that we enjoyed our meal.

Sirloin steak & sides

I arrived in the 7 pm hour on a Friday night - prime dining time. I put my name on the wait list at the Hostess Station and had a minimum wait to be seated. Ordered a sirloin steak with mac & cheese and the famous hash browns. The restaurant was busy, but I was impressed in watching the staff work well to keep things going. My meal was brought to my table within a reasonable time. Ample portion and good flavor on the steak and sides. My server was pleasant and efficient.

Sundays special - Southern Style Fried Chicken. (Comes with two large boneless chicken breast)

This place is so run down. The food was horrific. Not the servers fault. Please choose another place to spend your hard earned money at.

There are tons of appetizers to choose from, which is great if you just want a drink and something small to eat. Regarding the entrees. Burgers, wings, wraps, and sandwiches dominate the menu. They do have a "plate" menu which has chicken and steak options. Nice variety, which includes a kids menu. I got the wings which are a solid 4 stars. Lots of flavors to choice from. I sampled my wife's Hamburger Steak plate and enjoyed it. Tons of beers (many regional) on the draft menu. 5 stars for their draft beer selection. Full bar if you want something harder or just having a bad day. Service was very good. No issues with the wait staff. So I know what you are thinking. "Overall a positive review Tim. Why not 5 stars?". It's freaking LOUD. At my table, we had to shout to carry on a conversation.

The exterior is pretty unassuming, so I wasn't expecting to walk into such an awesome spot! From the super-friendly welcome from our smiling hostess, who seated us immediately, to our waitress, Carrie, who was incredibly nice and provided excellent service, everything was top-notch! I'm always on the hunt for the best club sandwich, and I can honestly say this was THE BEST club sandwich I've EVER had! It was so beautifully presented, it almost looked fake, but it was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Pick 3 appetizers and loved the fried mushrooms, southwest egg rolls, and bagel bites, and we had a burger too! We're so happy we found this place and can't wait to come back. 10/10!

I got the waffle fry appetizer that was smothered in beer cheese and crispy bacon. I could've eaten this as a meal alone it was filling and GOOD. Now, the reason we went - the OMCheese burger. YUM! The cheese was delicious and the honey mustard was the perfect addition. The onnnnnnnlllllyyy reason for 4 stars is that I saw the sanitation rating on the way out - 90.5. Had I seen that on the way in, we probably wouldn't have eaten there, but honestly I glad we did because the food was so good.

Server came back and said the did not have a full rack, only half racks. Instead of giving us two half racks which would have made a whole rack, we were offered to either receive two riblets or to order something else. We ordered extra riblets. The food arrived and the ribs looked almost black. They were way over cooked to the point of being burned. We tried to eat them but they were way too dry. We tried several times to flag down someone to complain but to no avail. Finely the couple we were with paid the bill and we left. This is the second time in as many weeks we have had bad food here. I guess we won't be back. Money is too hard to come by to waste it on bad food.

As a CHARLOTTE Engineering graduate and SigEp alumnus, I travel back and forth to Charlotte at…read moreleast 10 times a year. I remember stopping at Bill's as a far back as the early '80s. On this trip, I was on my way to the CHARLOTTE 49ers men's basketball game vs. Tulane. On the way down, I stopped to use the restroom. I noticed that they serve Exxon gas (I use the Exxon-Mobil app whenever I can). Being the Architecture and Americana enthusiast -- and let's not forget Yelpie -- I snapped a lot of pictures. On the way down, I didn't have time to stop and eat, and I decided it would be better to get gas on the way home, so I planned to stop again after the game. Bill's Truck Stop is a long-standing, family-oriented truck stop and restaurant serving travelers, truckers, and locals. It's a full-service stop right off I-85 near Salisbury/Linwood, offering fuel, Country and Southern comfort food, and a range of traveler amenities in a more "old-school" atmosphere compared to modern corporate travel plazas. It never closes -- open 24 hours a day. It's easily noticeable by its tall sign and "Big Bill," a towering fiberglass figure originally installed decades ago as an eye-catching roadside attraction. The property includes a convenience store paired with the Exxon station on the left, the restaurant in the middle, and a store on the right selling auto and truck supplies, clothing, and other merchandise. On my way down, I picked up ice scrapers, anticipating an approaching ice storm in North Carolina. On the way home -- after the 49ers were victorious -- I stopped to sample the restaurant, go to the bathroom, and get gas. I sat down at the counter and was greeted very warmly and hospitably, in both classic Southern and truck-stop wait-staff style. It seemed as if before the words "I'll have coffee" left my mouth, a cup of hot Joe was already in front of me -- really good diner-style coffee, the kind that keeps truckers and motorists alert all night. Livermush can be hard to find in parts of Eastern North Carolina, so I decided to order breakfast. I had livermush, sunny-side-up eggs, hash browns with onions and peppers covered in melted cheese, and a very large biscuit. It was all very delicious. The counter area was very clean. The restaurant décor and furniture are dated -- in a good way -- going back to the 1960s when the truck stop first opened to serve Interstate-85 traffic. The kitchen is in plain view and very clean, which adds a level of trust and transparency. In addition to the counter, there are tables and chairs as well as booths. This is a classic "greasy spoon" diner and mom-and-pop truck stop -- I love its nostalgic feel. The menu features classics such as country-style steak, meatloaf, fried chicken, and chicken and dumplings. They also offer a solid selection of hearty soups, salads and slaw, hamburgers, hot dogs and other sandwiches, and fried seafood bites. I can't wait to return and sample more menu items. Imagine having a Salisbury steak in Salisbury! The men's room was exceptionally clean and smelled nice -- especially impressive for a truck stop or travel plaza. After I ate and used the restroom, I went out and pumped gas using the Exxon-Mobil app. The pump worked well, and the handle was fully intact -- I didn't have to squeeze it the entire fill-up in the cold, which I appreciated. I plan on heading back and wholeheartedly recommend this truck stop and travel plaza to anyone needing gas, a clean restroom, automobile or truck parts and supplies, souvenir clothing, water, soda or snacks, and a hot, delicious comfort-food meal. And yes -- it's also worth stopping just to take a selfie with Big Bill.

What a unique experience!…read more Bill's Truck Stop is located off of I-85 just South of Lexington. It has that western truck stop feel, and is filled with great people and good food! The food is great, but unfortunately did take a while to come out. For truckers on a time crunch, this may not be for you. The eggs and hash browns are hot n' fresh (as they should) but nothing particularly special. The bacon was way overcooked. The biscuits are buttery and homemade! The tables were clean, but the floor beneath our feet was dirty (food, napkins, etc...) The servers are great, and check on you often. For what you get, it is a good price! $29 for two meals including a tip is a good deal! There is also an Exxon that you can fill up at, including a gas station portion if you don't want to dine at the restaurant. Breakfast is served all day.
