What is going on with Zaxby's. I decided I wanted a salad and maybe some wings. Terrible mistake, I pulled at hotel and looked salad is missing tomato and cucumber. I looked at wings and they looked ok. I go back and get missing items, but dang I didn't know I needed to taste wings. Omg I get back and wings or over fried wtf.. then look how they did celery.. ridiculous!! very disappointed and want return .. probably want even go to this particular chain restaurant again .. second time in less than a week visiting these locations... and it hasn't been a pleasant experience.

Coming from and living in California I have never heard of or ever seen a Zaxby's before but as I was driving through this given area I noticed quite a few them along the many miles of roadway that I traveled and well after soo many hours of driving one gets hungry for some night food and that's when I discovered what Zaxby's was all about! Coming here I hadn't the slightest idea what it was or what they served other than chicken I was just hungry and this was one of the places on my way back to the roadway so why not try it! Of the options they had to offer I ordered the Spicy chicken finger sandwich I think it was I don't really remember the name but it came with a few spicy chicken fingers that were inside two pieces of Texas toast that were kinda buttery with with a ranch sauce inside of it making for a yummy but messy sandwich until the very end! The sandwich was typical fast food goodness but with that southern style added because well this is the south and that's what's good around here pretty much I totally enjoyed my sandwich as it had some flavor and was just all around good for a fast food place! One of the other things that I'm always on the search for is fried cheese curds as I just love those fried balls of cheese so much from the gooey greasy battered goodness you just can't go wrong with! When I noticed them on the menu I totally added some to my order and stoked I was too because they were quite yummy and just how curds should be gooey and oozing with cheese! They gave me a few sauces to dip my curds in one of them being the zax sauce I don't really remember what it tasted like other than it being good on the curds and fries as I used all of it! Their fries were another thing that was kinda cool as they were your typical frozen fries but like super fatty crinkle cut fries that were just awesome with this sandwich and curds on this given night! Overall if I ever see a Zaxby's again I know I'll be tempted to stop as it was yummy fast food that just hit the spot for me on these long hours on the road! If I don't make it back here again who knows one might pop up in Southern California someday lol!

The wings here are the best! This is my favorite fast food chain ever! The wimpy wings are my favorite. It has a nice spice to it that's not too spicy and is complemented with a tanginess that makes the wings complete. The Texas toast is also my favorite here and the fries are really good too. The chicken is just so good here! The chicken tenders that Zaxby's makes are the best and are freshly made as you order. You could even have it coated in one of their many delicious sauces. I prefer hot honey mustard. Also let's not forget their salads and sandwiches which are nice menu items that you must try. 5 stars to my favorite fast good chain in the world!

I always give Zaxbys the benefit of the doubt but no matter what, they still continue to fail me. Something as simple as asking for my grilled chicken to be blacked and they still give me plain grilled after they repeated my order correctly. It doesn't make sense. The cashier needs to learn how to check the order as its coming through the window as they are bagging the food. Why hand something out the window knowing it's wrong just so the customer has to come back and get it fixed when they could have done it before hand.

So when my husband and I were greeted by a tidy but unassuming building that houses CJ's, I knew we were about to have some of the best meat product in the area. We were welcomed by the human ray of sunshine behind the register, who was not only helpful but adorably encouraged us to help ourselves to the little valentines that she had sprinkled across the tables around the restaurant. We ordered two burgers and sat ourselves at the counter, enjoying the happy chatter between the kitchen and hostess while we waited for our food. I got the Number Seven Burger (pimento cheese, american cheese, smoked bacon, onion ring, slaw, and cajun mayo) as a combo which came with their peppery fries and a drink for $15.50. One gloriously messy bite and I was in transports. The BEEF...So high quality, dripping with flavor and perfectly cooked that I felt like I had blasphemed against the burger gods for defiling it by ordering it with so many toppings. It goes without saying that my cholesterol lives in fear of the next time I go to CJ's (and there will be a next time.) HERE is a smash burger to smash all other burgers. A beacon of greasy burger goodness in a world of all-flash-no-smash novelty gourmet nonsense. Thank you, CJ's!

It's a smaller spot with the ordering counter and kitchen in the back and maybe seating for 26 or so. The folks behind the counter were friendly and the order process was simple. I got their sandwich special, the Buffalo Soldier. It was chicken cutlet with lettuce, tomato, blue cheese, and ranch on ciabatta. I made it a combo with chips and a soda. With tip I think the total was around $17. That was a touch more expensive than I was expecting especially with just a bag of chips on the side. The sandwich was good. Between the blue cheese and the ranch it was really creamy and most of the toppings slide off with the second bite. I don't mind a mess though! The ciabatta bread was the perfect compliment for the sandwich. It was a cute spot and I especially liked the creative sandwich names. I'd go back and try the chicken ceasar wrap next time.

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

This review is for Fig & Olive Mediterranean Deli, the counter/stall inside Stock + Grain Assembly,…read morethe food hall next to Truist Point, the baseball stadium/soccer field in downtown High Point. It's not to be confused with Fig and Olive Cafe in Greensboro. Fig & Olive is new to Stock + Grain. It opened last month, July 2025. Stock + Grain opened in early 2022. The food hall has really filled in since then. We visited for dinner before a Carolina Core soccer game and the place was packed. My wife and I were drawn to Fig & Olive's menu. We wanted something light and relatively healthy. They sell sandwiches and bowls, priced at $11 to $18.50 each. We both got the Portofino Bowl for $16.50 each. It comes with baby arugula, soppressata, bresaola, marinated artichoke hearts, shaved pecorino romano, fresh lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. The bowls/salads were presented nicely. One of our friends commented that they looked "delightful." Unfortunately, the bowls looked better than they tasted. They were unbalanced and hard to enjoy. We were unable to finish them. While the portion sizes were decent, I was working/chewing through a lot of dense, cured meat. There wasn't any dressing except for the EVOO (which I'm not sure we even noticed) and some lemon wedges. Overall, the bowls weren't that flavorful. They felt incomplete. The quality of the ingredients was fine, though. They give you a pager so you know when to pick up your order. When I went to pick up our bowls, they made a mistake and only prepared one bowl instead of two. I let them know and later, the cashier brought my bowl directly to where we were sitting. She was polite and apologetic. No big deal to me. It looked like there were only two people working and they were busy. Given how new this place is and the appealing menu, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Maybe they were still working some kinks out and/or we ordered the wrong thing. Fig & Olive is certainly a nice addition to Stock + Grain's lineup. According to Fig & Olive's page on Stock + Grain's website, the business is "a social enterprise" of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC's Providence program where "all efforts and profits support workforce development programs."
