I ordered through DoorDash, paid extra for two wet burritos (that's $6 extra, by the way) and a side of queso. I opened the bag and immediately realized the entire order was messed up. No "wet" burritos. No queso. Nothing I actually paid for. To make it worse, my family also had issues with their food, so I had to drive there myself to get everything fixed after already spending money on delivery, and with a flat tire. Literally putting myself at risk because the staff can't follow a printed ticket.When I walked in, the night shift employees were on their phones, giggling with each other. The girl with bright red hair and the boy with light brown hair could not have looked more annoyed that a customer dared interrupt their hangout. The person who seemed to be the manager didn't greet me, didn't apologize, didn't try to help just stared at me.When I explained the situation, the employee acted confused and asked for the receipt, even though I clearly had the DoorDash ticket on the bag showing exactly what I ordered. They read it, rolled their eyes, and looked at their manager like they had no idea what to do. The manager's solution? "Well put queso on it." And, boring so incredibly boring; could be attributed to it being room temperature. I suspect they count on the salsa's to boost the taste but trust w/o salt or salsa the "proteins" w/ (mushy) rice were bland. Wts, I got it home; airfry, salt & salsa it was better. Have been going here for years. It is similar to a Chipotle ordering experience but so much better. Food is very delicious. Definitely on the smaller size but there are three floors to choose from. The third floor is a rooftop bar which is really nice in the summer. Sad they got rid of the cheerwine slushy machine but still really good. Can be long lines so expect a bit of a wait time. I tried the hula burrito with steak and it was HUGE! Probably the biggest burrito i've had. It was packed with flavor and was satisfying. I liked how there are 4 areas where you could sit whether it's indoors, second floor indoor, upstairs rooftop or first level outdoors. The food is always great, the staff is pretty friendly and the price is fair. But the place needs to close for the weekend have some thorough cleaning. The floor is sticky, the windows are very dirty and the fans/ lights are full of dust and spider webs. You kind have to concentrate in your food and not look around. It would be great if the management elevates the ambiance of the restaurant by having some kind of detailed cleaning on the schedule, maybe assigning tasks after hours/ before opening??. It's delicious and they got hella other toppings like corn pico, tomatos, lettuce, quinoa. We got a side of Queso for $1.79. It was good but $1.79 a bit much for it. The place was decorated nicely and appeared clean. They had a sanitation grade of 97.0 posted above the register. There's a pretty good atmosphere inside this place. The employees were nice. There's a salsa bar next to the drink dispenser. They offered eight different salsas. I didn't love this place like I thought I would. It looks so delicious in all of the pictures and even my burrito looked delicious, but something about it just wasn't. You can build your own, so I chose all of my filling. It's kind of like Chipotle how you go down the line and choose everything for your meal. It's very organized and the staff is firendly. They have a bunch of different salsas to pick from for free. You can take as many as you want. Some of them were pretty delicious. I don't know what I didn't like about my food, though. The flavor just wasn't there. I did try one of the homemade desserts, Cheerwine dump cake! It was great! I would not be opposed to some bcak and try something diffeernt. Not only are the burritos HUGE (and delicious), so is everything else on the menu. When you eat here, it's hard to eat at other burrito places because they don't even come close. I have probably tried everything they have, but my favorite thing to order is this chicken nachos, with the Life is Good salsa. Plus they have Cheerwine, which is another reason I love to come here. Now, if you come during peak hours, do be prepared to wait. However, it is so worth the wait. There is parking across the street, as well as plenty of street parking across downtown.
