HORRIBLE!!!! This used to be my favorite place. I ordered Pollo Loco (my fav dish) and didn't even get any cheese sauce on it. It looked like crap, too. It was just some rubbery slices of chicken and bacon. When I called, he said I had to bring it back. I hung up. I will never go back. Go to Monterrey... at least you'll get treated better. read more

Met the expectations. I ordered a guacamole salad which was pretty simple (just lettuce, guacamole, and a slice of tomato). Nothing too crazy. The guacamole was delicious. Had enough room left to enjoy a delectable dessert, Flan. The waiters are very kind. read more

Servers here are always kind and attentive. First time ordering the potato taquitos and really enjoyed them. The potato's could use a bit of extra spice, but the guacamole and salsa helped with that. Ambiance in the patio area was lovely. read more

Casa Grande - Pork Carnitas Dinner - Mexican Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

Casa Grande is located in Salisbury, NC in the same vicinity as the Hampton Inn. Service was not great from the start. Food came out quickly but after that, I didn't see the server for a while. I had to flag down another server to take care of the check. The Burrito California with beef was just okay. At least the chips and salsa were complimentary. I probably would try another place for dinner, if given the opportunity next time. read more

Casa Grande - Mexican Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

We just moved to town and discovered Casa Grande staying at Hampton Inn. Servers, owners and bartenders are wonderful and super attentive. The menu has a wide variety of dishes from simple and small portions to larger and more complex flavors. There is something for everyone! We love the queso and fresh pico de gallo. Soup called Carne en su Jugo is perfectly flavored - yum! Carne asada, fajitas and don't forget a Margarita - I recommend the medium size to start. read more

I asked for some shredded cheese with my fajitas. Their minds were blown. They couldn't handle the request. Almost shut the place down. No clue what to do or how to react. They figured it out though and gave me some shredded cheese but damn it took a lot of talking and explaining and an act of congress to get it done. read more

Well my husband and I stopped at Hampton Inn and found this restaurant and were craving margaritas! So we both ordered a house margarita which was in a dispenser churning around. Needless to say they were not good super sour. I hated to ask but I did request that we switch for a beer. She asked the manager who must have agreed and was very nice about it. The manager tried the mixed margaritas from dispenser and he thought they were good!! Trust me when I tell you we have had plenty of experience with margaritas. read more

Food is always delicious and service is friendly! We go often and it is fantastic when you have a large group!

Everyone loved their food. The service was fast! They were pretty busy, too, and we never felt ignored. Loved the Papel Picado strewn through the restaurant. Would definitely come back! My only concern was that our menus were a little dirty, they just need to be wiped down. read more

Good authentic restaurant near highway. Stopped there to have some family dinning. Everyone liked their food. I especially recommend Burrito Hawaiian, creamy burrito. The dishes are not expensive, around $10-30. Everything seems to be fresh (well I think so). In overall, great please to have some good Mexican food. read more

Food was amazing. Service was lacking. Have been there before and will go again. Service was good before. We went early to beat the crowd.

Really good food! We came on Cinco de Mayo; and for it to be really busy we still got very good service. It was understandable of how busy it was. They did get mixed up on our food in the back, but the server handled the mixup very quickly. He brought out our drinks, food, chips, and boxes all out in a timely manner. The food was fresh and hot! Big portions and very flavorful! Our alcoholic beverages was portioned right; decent prices too. Didn't have the best specials on Cinco de Mayo though. read more

Hands down the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. Nothing bad about the service really and Im hesitant to bash or leave a bad review on any establishment unless it's truly deserved but each and every dish we received was almost inedible. Even the chips and salsa were no good. Salsa tasted like ketchup and water. Sorry guys it was really bad. read more

The server added a $4 tip to my balance with out my permission... My balance was $13.68 which was what I signed on my copy of the receipt, (there was no party either, just me and my date). We each paid for our own meal and he said he'd pay for the tip. A few days later when I was checking my bank I noticed an entry that I didn't recognize.... It was the restaurant, same amount except for a $4 tip that I didn't authorize. The manager said that he would talk to the server but 1-2 weeks later no correction was made,. So no I wouldn't recommend eating there, they're dishonest read more

Been to casa grande in Kannapolis many times and it's always been wonderful. Decided to stop in here with my family and it couldn't have been worse. Our waiter was inattentive and acted bothered when we asked for a high chair, and then after a 25-minute wait our food was cold. Not "not hot" but ice cold. Such an unfortunate experience after so many great meals at one of our favorite places. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Fajitas were dry. Never received tortillas and was given a plastic fork. Requesting a check for 35 minutes and still waiting. Do not eat here. read more

I came here with my mother for lunch in the middle of a day of errands. The service was prompt and atmosphere ok. I ordered a bean burrito with rice and beans and my mom ordered a beef enchilada and shrimp with beans. When the food arrived I was brought a beef burrito. My mother received shrimp and rice with tortillas. Neither we're what we ordered. They promptly removed the items and after a short wait they brought my mother's shrimp and rice, worth tortillas again. The waitress saw they brought tortillas instead of the enchilada and went to fix the issue. Halfway through my mother's meal I received my burrito. The beans were ok but obviously from a can. They didn't put much thought or effort into the burrito. In fact I'd really call it a bean enchilada because that's what I received. After eating we both felt ill. I went to the bathroom and they didn't even have a toilet seat. I don't get to NC often to visit my family but when I do I know I'll never be returning to this establishment. read more

Great Mexican food good service good drinks easy to find location been going here since I moved to the area . Huge portions always bring food home . Gets crowded on Friday and Saturday night as all good restaurants should be... Give this place a try read more

A whole new level of bad. This might not be fair since I'm visiting from LA and we have amazing Mexican food but the food here was SO BAD. I ordered the chili relleno and enchilada and my husband got the nachos. Where I'm from chili relleno is a chili, stuffed with cheese, battered in egg then fried. What I got was awful ground hamburger, mixed with beans, cheese and diced chilies. It was gross. The enchilada was filled with burger and My husbands nachos were soggy chips with the same bland burger. And, since I'm complaining, the toilet tipped forward when I sat down so it felt like I was going to topple off and outside the restaurant smelled like sewer. The end. read more

Great food, great people. The owner and the stuff always trying to make sure the food and service is great.

My favorite mexican place in the area! Glad they came to Salisbury though I do still go to the others on occasion. Great salsa and chips. I get the cheese dip and they have Cheerwine on tap, plus! I get the California steak burrito with white cream sauce on top but it doesnt come that way you have to ask for it or it will have red sauce I think. It is packed full of steak, onions and yummy goodness. Cant go wrong with anything here! read more

The food is always delicious and everything has good flavor! Normally go with the ACP which is delicious but got chicken and steak fajitas (another amazing dish) I've never liked guacamole until I tried it here. Would definitely recommend although it fills you up fast. read more

Casa Grande is not authentic but the Service is great, the food is consistent & my kids love their cheese quesadillas! The menu is pretty cheaply priced. Average Adult is $5-6. The chips are always fresh & salsa is good. The Staff is quick & polite to kids. Sidenote: we never use their bathroom. It is dark & kind of dingy. read more

Food was not to temp. Well below the safe temperature zone of 135. Sent my rice and beans back and they just put it on a hot plate! We have been here several times but we will never go back. Has been horrible the last few times we went. We ordered Texas fajitas for 2 and only got for one. We didn't eat but a couple of bites, but had to pay for the whole messed up meal. Service was horrible! read more

We visited with a party of 10 and they gave us a good out of the way spot with two tables. Carmen our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. The portions were huge and the food was great. We had the chips and pico de gallo and ordered the Quesadilla Fajita with Chicken and Refried Beans, the Botana Camaron (spicy shrimp with onions served over salad) with Rice and Refried Beans, margaritas on the rocks, and a Corona with lime. Our portion of the bill was $28 -- can't beat the price and quality! We had a great meal and time. Would return if in the area. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The food came out cold, and we waited an hour just for it. The waitress barely came to our table but we seen her everywhere else. She would T give us refills on our drinks; she'd see the empty cups and keep walking. I had to get up and go grab my own to go boxes. The waitress never even gave us our check. We had to walk to the cashier just to get the waitress to get our check and pay. We were there for 2 hours and will NEVER go back not recommend it. read more

We got here and the host in the front door gave us attitude. We get it you are a chola! Tatted up with tattoos and sharpie eyebrows. But you are responsible for greeting us. Nevertheless we get to our table which out of all the tables available they put us at the end of the isle next to the bathroom. Not a long wait on the food, so that's a plus. I order the Camarones a la diabla. Now in ever Mexican restaurant i have been in the key in this dish is the sauce. In the menu it clearly showed the shrimp with the sauce and in writing it said you will get it with the sauce. I get my order and it's just shrimp with rice and beans. No sauce! So I asked politely if I was mistaken that shrimp comes with sauce - she said yes! I'm wrong - they only cook it in the sauce but no sauce is actually giving. Not true! The menu says it comes with a sauce and it's common knowledge it's cooked that way. Well she said it will extra if I wanted that save even tho I originally ordered that dish for that reason. Very rude customer service and poor staffing. read more

Literally the worst food I have eaten in years. I have lived in TX, AZ and MX this food is not even close to mexican food. I had a combo plate burrito and chile rellano. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever visited. We went here for lunch. We placed our order and after an hour of waiting, we asked about our food. The waiter had an attitude and shrugged his shoulders. We waited an additional 20 minutes. At this point we ask for the manager. We confronted her about our situation. She had no reason for why it was taking so long. She also offered no apologies. After and additional 10 mins. We walked out. The staff are rude and do not care. Stay as far away from this place as possible. read more

The food is awesome the service no much. My wife called to reserve a table for a birthday party. We were about 15 people. Once we get there we find out that our table was given to somebody else, we have to wait 45-1hr to be seated, the servers took to much time to get our drinks and to order the food we have to call some of the servers AGAIN, after we got our food two people from the party got desperate because their food was taking to much time, and some people got their order wrong. And after all that the manager never stop to apologize for any of the hassle of that night so that's why the whole family decided to do not go to this restaurant again. I'm going to miss the tacos. read more
