Bummed we are from out of town for a wedding so we probably won't be back. But if we did come back this is where we would eat breakfast!! I had the grits with bacon and silver dollar pancakes. Everything was delicious. They made my bacon crispy as I requested. Something WH never does! The pancakes were light and fluffy. My family had biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns, breakfast ham and eggs and not a bite was left over. Our server was super attentive and sweet. She's getting married soon and we all wish her a lifetime of happiness :) FYI ‼ this is a cash only place

After seeing the reviews for this restaurant, I was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, it…read moredidn't live up to the praise. The menu offers the classic breakfast staples, but the food itself lacked flavor and was fairly ordinary. Nothing was poorly cooked, but there wasn't anything that stood out or made me want to come back. The service was also just okay--it wasn't particularly attentive. One of the biggest frustrations was discovering that the restaurant is cash only. There was no obvious notice when you entered, and didn't realize it until it was time to pay, when I noticed a small sign near the cash register. In today's world, where most restaurants accept cards or mobile payments, it would be helpful if this policy were posted more prominently at the entrance or mentioned before ordering. Overall, I can understand why it's a familiar spot for many locals, but based on my experience, it didn't offer anything that set it apart from an average breakfast diner. I left feeling disappointed, especially considering all of the recommendations.

There is a long coffee flag so that's when you know that you are in the correct place. The different name on the building through me off. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating. We were greeted and given menus which we then found a high top table, sat down and looked it over. We decided on the Alyssa crepes and morning glory sandwich. Allysa crepe- I would have ordered another plate if we didn't have another 2 hr drive to go. Between the fluffy eggs and the combination of the ingredients with absolutely mouth watering. I asked for hot sauce and it was complete. I would drive out of my way to come back here again. Morning glory sandwich- I don't know who raised these chickens to give such a different taste to them, but they were raised right. These were definitely happy chickens. Hard to explain but this sandwich and those fluffy eggs will keep you wanting more. Everyone there is so sweet and I'm happy to have had the experience of such an excellent breakfast. This is a rare find and I will be revisiting again.

I know the place has stopped selling doughnuts, which is a shame since that was the whole deal was getting a donut with your breakfast, but I have still ventured to a pastry-less Sunrise Grill twice since they've done the name change. We were down by Lake Tillery on a job so this was within a reasonable distance. Love the layout and decor in the restaurant. Oh, we picked a shareable for the table and spinach artichoke dip, which was a good choice to split between three people. We still have plenty of our workday left so I opted to go with the grilled salmon and a rather unique side in Mexican street corn.. for my second side I decided to add a house salad with homemade ranch dressing. The salad was a large portion to start with in the flavor of the Mexican corn in the salmon went well together. I made a great choice. The Mexican corn was three short corn on the cobs in a long dish with sauce on top of the corn. Public house is definitely the place to be in Albert mall for lunch dinner or a private event.

We went to Five Points Public house for a weekday lunch and only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was good, the interior architecture is nice to look at, and we will be back. The restaurant is a mix of booths and tables with chairs. You can tell the building is old, but had been tastefully worked into a restaurant by the age on the exposed brick within. The whole front of the restaurant faces one of the main roads for downtown, and has large windows that bring in tons of natural light. This place is good for a date night, a group gathering, or anything in between. There's even some bar seating if that's your thing. Our table got the French dip and a make-your-own burger. The French dip was easily shared by my little and me, as the portion size was large. The build-your-own-burger comes exactly as you want it, cooked to your temperature preference, but I will say the patty could have had more seasoning on it. The onion rings are amazing, and the onion adheres perfectly to the batter. One thing I hope to be able to use in the future is the Pontiac Room, which is their second story event space. They have a nice sign that gives details about the space, and I truly believe it would be good for wedding receptions, large parties, or large group gatherings. I don't know if there is an elevator to this space, so you'd need to check on that should your group have mobility concerns. Overall, this is a place that we will bring the whole crew to in the future.

The inside feels like (or is?) part counter restaurant and part antiques store. I knew I had come for a hot dog and the folks behind the counter were patient while I decided on a side item, ultimately settling on onion rings. I hung out until they handed me a paper bag with my order. I had parked right out front so I didn't have far to go to enjoy my lunch. Everything (especially the onion rings) was really hot. The footlong was really good. The dog itself might have been fried and it was great to see pretty full coverage across the full dog. Onion rings were pretty greasy, as evidenced by the dark spot soaking through the paper bag. They were tasty though. I did go back in to ask for an extra couple ketchup packets. If I'm in the area, I'd return to Goody Shop cafe and try some of their other offerings.

To which I replied that I would have to cancel the order as I cannot afford to spend over $20 on lunch when I can go to Wendys and get 3 patties for 7or 8 dollars. Then she said that I should just go to Wendys and get those patties and disconnected the call. I was expecting to spend more than what it would cost me at Wendys but not over 2x as much.
