I really liked this place. Service was on point. The manager was knowledgeable and friendly too. I really liked the outdoor patio and the building architecture. I was so intrigued I looked up the history of the building, and the automotive companies that inhabited the building before the restaurant. Were you around when the Pontiac show room always had a white Christanas tree in the main window for Christmas? The food was upscale pub food. The Onion rings were delicious. The Sloppy Joes were memerable and I loved my chicken salad. Most importantly, the drinks were great. I would love to stop by again. read more

We went on a Monday evening with a party of 5... it wasn't busy at all like it is on a typical weekend so that was nice to just go right in and sit. Friendly servers... the food was good. I had the bbq chicken salad and it was really good. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy, not just cheap icebergs lettuce and the chicken was really good. Crispy but not too greasy. There was enough variety on the menu for all our different dietary needs. A good place to take the family. read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner while passing through town. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We started with the soft pretzel appetizer & sloppy Joe nachos. The kids loved the soft pretzels. The nachos could have used more toppings. Once you got below the top layer the chips were dry. The kids meals of chicken tenders & fries came with a side of fruit which was a nice touch. However the fries are seasoned, which my kids were not a fan of. The shrimp/sausage penne pasta was good, would recommend. The burger was also good, but nothing spectacular. The interior was incredibly dark, felt like they could add more lights or make it brighter for better ambience. Prob would not come back. read more

I liked the tacos that I had & the fronions (sp?) were a nice touch. You can get both onion rings and fries, the waitress was helpful with recommendations suggested a sauce to go on the side as well. I absolutely love this place. The service is always great. The staff are very friendly. The food is always good. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star is the 5 point sauce. It used to be made in house, and the fact that it was different each time made it a classic sauce. They have changed it to a bottle sauce with the same name. Very disappointed in this change. when it's good, it's delicous but when it's bad it's bad. Went early on a Friday night. Not crowded. It took 30 minutes to get a medium rare steak. Cut into steak, med well. To be fair waitress and mgr? Offered to have another cooked. I declined. If it took that long again, everyone would be finished eating. And I was starving. I ate baked potato and fruit. We tried here today in search of a venue for my daughter's wedding dinner. The food was delicious! I had the Sloppy Joseph with potato salad. Best potato salad I've ever had in a restaurant! My daughter had the fettuccine with blackened chicken. For appetizer we had the pretzels. Our service from Kayla was fantastic! She's friendly and always with a smile. Ian met with us about renting the upstairs area, Pontiac room for the wedding dinner. Prices for catering was on point and the space perfect for what we need. SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES. That's it that's all you need to know. Great spot after hiking in the nearby state park. It was challenging to find a spot open on a Sunday afternoon, but this did not disappoint. I sat outside since it was beautiful, they had tables and nice string lights, the music was great. My waitress Shelby was so sweet and attentive! Ordered a burger and sweet potato waffle fries and Shelby recommended the honey mustard sauce. Yummmm. Planning a wedding rehearsal dinner is never easy, doing the planning for an event in NC when you are in FL is very stressful, but Ian helped me every step of the way. All the coordination with the balloon company, the selfie mirror and the staff at Five Points increased my stress level. But from the time we arrived on site to start to decorate the space the 5 Points Team was AMAZING, everything we asked about they were more than happy to take care of, and it was always done quickly and with a smile. Anything this important always comes down to people, and there were so many that were simply amazing, Jesse the Executive Chef seemed to be everywhere and helped with so many things (many I am sure were not his responsibility), but he never shied away when we asked a question. Shana and Ashleigh who kept everything moving beginning the morning of the event with setting up, to the night of the event, working the bar, cleaning up the tables and everything else that came up they were all over it. Smiles, positive responses and such and amazing level of service it was noticed by all of our guests the entire night. The whole set up began with the help of Lindsay who helped us get started by answering all of our questions and explaining how everything would flow the best during the set up process, she gave us a sense of relief just seeing how much she cared about the success of our event. read more

The waitresses happily greet us, each of us who come in at various times and they quickly get all our drink orders as we come in. The five of us ordered a variety of foods and everything looked amazing, tasted fresh, and was so delicious. My Cobb Salad was full of fresh before and was full of flavor. The restaurant had good music playing, and most tables were full of people enjoying dinner and casual conversations, even on a Monday. My friends and I never felt rushed to leave so we ate and talked for 3 hours. It's definitely a place to bring friends and family to enjoy dinner and catch up. read more

The Good the Bad and the ugly The Good: the burger I ordered was huge, tasty and cooked to perfection. I also ordered fries which tasted a bit like Arby's curly fries without the curl. The Bad: service was prompt but ineffective. We had to ask for ketchup three times to get any. Another member of the party received the wrong side with his steak which they never corrected. Friendly servers but inattentive. The Ugly: paying $30 for a ribeye isn't out of the norm today but the steak my wife was served was not very good at all. She ordered medium well and the steak was medium rare. That alone is no deal killer but the seasoning ruined an obviously good piece of meat. Rosemary is a wonderful accent but the steak was so coated with it that there was no steak flavor at all. You Could use ground beef and the same amount of rosemary and the taste would be identical. I was in town for the week and it was my last night so I decided to try this place out (July 13th). It was dinner time and wow was it busy. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. I Ordered a drink and the fried pickles for my appetizer. The pickles came out and I was surprised. It was a huge portion for the price. They had great flavor and were cooked great with perfect amount of crisp. For my entree I ordered the Reuben with fries. The Reuben was also a big portion. It had the perfect amount of meat and tasted great! The fries were seasoned good with great flavor and not over salted. Overall the service was good and fast even though it was super busy. I don't remember my bartenders name but she was very friendly and great at her job. The hostess and other staff were also very friendly. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of tv's if you want to watch some sports. Will eat here again next time I'm in town! A++ read more

I'd started this review months ago and got distracted but even MONTHS later this still stands out as easily the worst restaurant we've been to in years (which was super disappointing after a long drive and an attempt at somewhere "special" for Mother's Day. (I'm the Mom, my food was completely inedible. The waitress didn't even ask why my food went back untouched and I ended up getting something else on the way home because I could not eat the food they served me.
